Looking For Someone To Play Child [[Done]]

Due to unforunate circumstances the person playing the son of Meta El Solaray and Resia (Solaray when the server comes back up :/ Suppose to have done our wedding) could not play the part, so I decided to come to the forums to make a request.

Looking for someone to play Jex Solaray, simple enough, though there are a few things we want to note about the child, and of the potential person who may take him

IC: Jex is the son of Meta and Resia, he is a fraternal twin of Neci Sin Serena Solaray.

Personality: Jex is a naturally shy toddler, very often only coming close to those he knows already. He takes after his mother's kindness and sweetness and would /probarly/ not take training or fighting like his father does. His personality seems to suggest a rather quiet child, taking from Meta's bonding nature, and Resia's tender nature mostly.

He has gotten use to his father who was absent for a time, and is due to begin his training under the arts. Though due to his nature and his time spent moreso with his mother he may lean towards activities she treasures as well.

He is the age of four and his birthday is in the winter seasons (Think the first one of the year.)

Neci Sin Serena Solaray (Fiery but SErene Sun Ray)

IC info: THe hot headed and more combat oriented child of the pair, Neci is a child that definately inherits the Solaray bloodline in her veins. From a ripe young infant age she has shown a keen interest in the Flowing Sun Martial Arts, particularly her father's Wild INferno stance, and has shown tendencies alongside the Wild INferno adapt crowd, being hotheaded, passionate about things she wants (Toys...food...Her little brother getting out of her way). Yet she is not a spoiled or bad child as she is learning discpline from her father, and is fiery loyal to those she cares about like her wittle brother and her parents. While she has childlike actions, she is being trained constantly to control and refine this.

OOC:

We're looking for someone who can "actually" play a child, both of us are quite active and I don't want to be hunting my child through the cloud temple or getting into bar fights. This should be a character that is beginning to grow and age alongside his family, not someone who suddenly lies and runs around on his own at the age of six. As this child hasn't had much out of the island experience his exposure to others really confines to the immeidate family (Meta, Resia, Neci) and their closest friends (Talithia, Rethlor, Rosso.)

Meta OOC: Meta would most likely seek to train Jex and Neci both as their reaching the prime age of four. This would include both ic training (Martial arts training, spiritual and knowledge training) and ooc training (RP combat if you would like), as anyone who has seen me RP combat I would really like to inspire the person who rp's the child to increase their combat skills to be of fine detail for that character and future ones :P

Another note I would like the person who takes them not to have two dozen alts, one other account would be fine but if you have three alts I would feel like we're fighting over time. While I would /LOVE/ JEx to be a main and I'm pretty sure we could make accommodations for Jex to get prime RP time I can't be a begger and a chooser ;P

So yes, :3 post away, anything about you, experience, accounts, reason, how much you love pizza (Big one here), things you seek to get out of it. ANything really :D

I wouldn't mind RPing the child if your looking for an RPer like me. I'm soon to be killing off my main character as we all know humans have a short life span. I like to start off as a child and actually build up his years so I can flesh him out further. I understand if your not looking for someone like myself.

Well good feedback, Meta likes :D. One thing I did forget to mention before I reply to each individual silly silly me, is Jex himself...

He's like a strong combination of Meta with a touch of Resia, Hair is blue, along with his eyes. Body is more petite and elven like then his father's, but the hair is like his and his eyes. You get blue :D You work out ^_^

Also when we get a winner winner pumpkin dinner we'll either find someone to make one to your fitting or otherwise (PS: You might be forced into footie jammies...)

@ Panda: Awww sowwy panda, :c I don't think Jex would fit that build or demand, Resia is mighty clingy to her litle ones. That and I see a few live alts :P So for now I'm going to have to say no either way :3 still wuv you.

@ Lord Aron: Now I'm not so sure about you....might find Jex sleeping with everyone...

Naw I kid, on a serious note though I'll be keeping you in mind for now ^_^ I know you wanted Aron to learn combat and with Jex learning from Meta you would get some great OOC tips on combat sparring ;D And get a character with Flowing Sun, win win here. And I think Aron is your only active main so that's another win, so for now you're on the radar

@Dargene :By all means don't give up :c one of my favorite alt's of Daniel (Rosso and Talithia's son) was a nobody who became a somebody :o by all means how many alts, what you seek to get ;D You never know. @ Talf: By all means one discussion on a forum wouldn't kick you out :P I do see three alts with one due to die soon, though Jex probarly won't die for a wong time, he's three quarters elven. (Human blood not OP enough) And you had enough cooldown in head to admit defeat :P Which...I don't...>_> So I'll keep you in mind mate ^_^

Not really out of the hat, I might ask to see some things of people to pick one that works for me and Resia (Sam) since this character would be having a lot of time and development and I would like it to go well for everyone involved :3 You know get to know everyone, and I'm not asking for kill off's :P it's really a decision that's right for you, if you're truly interested etc etc.

And Aron even if you don't get the position :3 Meta will probarly help Train Aron anyways and I'll still help you with that...

Anyways, an example of what /MIGHT/ Happen in the future with Jex.

The earthly feel of oak wood was a strange and awkward sensation in Jex's timid hands. Even now as he stood before his father, looking up at him with deep bright eyes that stared intently at the large man before him. It was early, early enough for Jex that he was still yawning occasionally and wondering when mommy would be bringing breakfast, but this time, even at his age he knew this was different.

"Apprentice Jex Solaray, we begin your training again today to further install the firmness of your heart and body." His father had always spoken to him in that matter, as an adult, something that made the shy heart of his jump in a small bit of delight, even if most of the words sailed over his head. His mother always referred to it as, 'you're father's talk', so for him it was good enough. Yet while he loved playing grown up with his father, he still was restless and his body swayed back and forth in a slighty edgy rotation. The stick in his fingers swooshing against the morning wind, beating at the greenest of grass; that was till suddenly...

"ATTENTION!" His father barked a remark this time as he noticed Jex's head and thoughts beginning to distract towards the green forest as a stick in his father's hand came sailing to his head. Reactions took over as he flinched, and covered his body shaking, as the wind whipped the air next to him and a soft sigh was heard, "You must always be attentive, always firm in your focus and belief. Pay attention to me Jex, watch your father and Master and repeat." While his voice was tough, firm, and cold, it had a tender note to it for his only son as his father stepped back, and begun to take one of his play styles.

First his legs spread apart slowly, taking a position away from his body and pointed outwards, allowing his hip open access to roation as he bent his knees slightly towards the earth. His center of gravity focused he then took his left arm and crossed it in front of his chest towards the right, while holding out his right arm to Jex, "Jex, this is Terra's Embrace, the stance of the earth..."

((When using this stance you want to focus and imagine honing your body like stone. Try to detail how you hold your body, and think of protection. You generally want to have your defensive weapon if your duel wielding to be crossed your chest to allow for protection of the body, your counter weapon or main response weapon pointed towards the biggest threat. When using this stance you want to adapt to where your targets are, this is a basic front assault position of the stance.)

"You must always point your blades towards your foe, so do not grow accustom only to one set. You must be willing to adapt to how your foe moves, and thus replace and adjust your blades. Practice will make it natural, natural will allow your head to compenstate for change."

During training sessions like the above with Jex if YOU want I will be giving combat tips :P a nice little bonus to help with all of your characters and your own devleopment of RP writing and as a user of flowing sun ^_^ :3

I'm going to probarly begin to either PM people, talk it out with Resia and hopefully have a decision of who I am taking. If someone doesn't get it this time don't fear :P with how Meta and Resia hop on each other when she's ready again...I can see a third...>_>
