Lost at sea.....

I like this in the fact that I can flesh out my current character's father more and see things through his eyes. It's also really cool to see characters that Morg (my current character) knows but as young children or just younger in general, or even their parents.

What I don't really like is that it is an alternate timeline. I sort of wish that these are the "lost episodes" of Aegis. Like a story that was never really told, the travelers shipwrecked, made temporary homes on the islands, then went to Asulon. But instead this never really happened, which is kind of sad to me for some odd reason.

But great job to the staff for thinking this up and getting us in game. You all really do deserve a round of applause and much much more!

THANK YOU!

You have inspired me.. I think instead of doing what I said, I will act out as my character's dad, since Fengric was kind of not alive during Aegis.. I think.. Not sure.

As Admiral of the Oren ship at that time I must protest! Only if a drunk Boiendl took the helm would we miss our destination as Hightowers do not fall victim to the mortal weakness of failure.

I am having a problem with blocks just popping back out as items when I try to place them..

Also, can I use magic in the Temp Server since I am using a temp character?

What will be intresting for those people like me who joined in 2.0 is the ability to play as your character's parrent or grandparent, or if they're dwarvish, orcish, or elvish, the ability to play as a younger version of one's self. .

This is expesialy exciting for me, since I based half my character's lore on the story of his grandfather in Aegis, and now I have an opritunity to play as him, and build up my favorite character's personal lore before 3.0's releasal. Maybe this temporary map isn't so bad after all...

The server is really laggy. Also, there needs to be more lifeboats in the spawn chest. We had 10 people waiting for one.

Well, any lag is you, cause it is fine for me. It is just that there are some bugs that are REALLY annoying

I think that "block coming back bug" is due to some weird invisible snow. Are you in a snowy biome?

Nope, all grassy mountains. I don't know why it keeps happening, and only in certain spots.

Place a block above of the area, then destroy it. It would work, according too a GM (forgot his name, sorry :C)

Yeah it was me gunner. But it was recommended in the GM chat as a fix. Their is an invisible snow, flower, or tall grass and its causing your block to disappear. You place a block on top and the foliage will appear. Destroy it and you should be good.

Okay, so I was thinking!

What if everything in the 'lost at sea' thing was actually real?

I'm wiling to write lore for it... And even help planing the finishing event.. Anyway,

let me explain:

So the thing is that on the way to Asulon the ships actual had to stop at the small islands we're at now. Everything that happened there, actually took place. People lived there for along time, but one day something strange happened, some... Force, or otherwise "accident" occured which lead to the fact, that no one could live on the island anymore.

(Ibless or some other necromancy force took over?)

And due to these events a curse were placed on the islands, and as the people finally had rebuilded their ships, they forgot everything about the island, and only few can actual remember what happened.

If we did something like this, keep in mind that the idea above is a very rough sketch, people would be able to use the roleplay they're doing now. They would be able to get an actual better look at their characters as young or just completely re-live parts of their lives.

I don't know, at least... It's just an idea.

:)

Oh.. And the reason why people all of a sudden can remember what happened there, at the island many years ago...?

When we go to the new 3.0 land, they all started to remember...

Memories of what happened all those years back, flared into their minds.

Anyways...

Thoughts?

The dwarves hundled together, armorless so that they may float on the water when this is over.

Did anyone else imagine the Dwarves forming into Voltron? ...No?
