I think the server is going the right direction, with "new" faces making their appearance as GM's, which is something the community has been willing to see for quite some time.

We all know they'll do the best they can :-)

For something I'd like to see, would be a group of tribal inhabitants from the main island, protect their homeland and the surrounding islands. I mean, what tropical island with a volcano doesn't have tribals...

I thought of a small event for the transition into 2.5. This is still able to be done if you ask me, the idea had to do with having some RP on a ship. This ship would take us to 2.5 or 3.0. There is a lot of potential to the idea for even smaller events, krackens and other mystical sea creatures.

Also, minas for voting could work if you add a little RP to it. You can vote, then in your screen a small message appears that describes a small RP scene. Someone could have dropped a bag of minas on the ground or a Wealthy lord had given some of his money to people all around Asulon.

I can't complain about anything else in LotC, I'm glad you are all taking interest into the server and search for the community's opinion.

Lime made a fun mini-event where a ghast emerged from the volcano and the pigman went bonkers. To say the least, me and the other 10 people who came because of the broadcast had lots of fun. Do more of it.

I would like to see more freedom of RP. I find it rather ridiculous to be interrogated as to why my characters name is Takao and why he wears robes by the LMs. In Aegis, I would never have had a problem like this, here it is just stressing and an annoying hurdle to jump to RP how I want to RP. So much that was great about Aegis was our freedom on the server at that time.

I'd just like to start by saying how HARD it was to format my coloring into this post. But I have to have it. So meh.

My idea(s):

-Clean up to the staff (GM) team. Removing inactive members. Maybe adding some. I think some members of the team are burnt out, and have kinda stopped working all together. As other people could be doing what they don't want to.

-I think voting perks should be added. But I dislike Minas for votes. Minas are an RP thing and should not be given for voting. I am not creative enough for ideas, but we have a good community for ideas.

-I think all staff teams should have a clean up. Along with FMs, AT, VAT, and any others. People are leaving with the recent changes, and we need to adapt. I think new faces into all of the teams, if they are the right faces, could be nice to see.

-I will edit in anything else I think of, or post another post.

Well... I would prefer if mobs can drop their normal loot(spider eyes, bones, rotten flesh, ect) instead of having a chance to drop minas. Minas should just be a rare drop, much like how bows are a rare drop from skeletons or iron tools are can be a rare drop from zombies.

I was thinking the same thing. Its especially annoying when your trying to get bones to grow things for your farm, but you only get minas, the farming process is increased by hours :(

One of my earliest and most treasured memory from playing on LotC happened back in Aegis. It involved only myself and a GM. The GM appeared to me, disguised as a "Pig God" and preceded to spawn me in "Holy Pork". The details make it sound much more fun, but from that small event, I got around 45 minutes of RP, and a few items. It somewhat reminds me of the mini-events you used to get randomly when playing Runescape (back when it was "cool" to play it XD).

I was disappointed to never experience something similar to that again as I think they really spruce up someones time on the server and provide some fun roleplay.

I agree with the Voting reward, With it, we will get more players on here, and return to our previous state of being in the top 10 servers...

Cheaper house pricing is definately needed! In Asulon the average house was 10,000 minas + which is just rediculous. Have a set rubric of house prices, and go with it so people (like me) can stop living in a box and actually live in a normal house.
