I have two things to say really. The first one is that more events will be coming in 3.0, the reason only the ET hasn't been doing many events is half our members are helping with 3.0 and many plugins aren't working properly so we can't utilize vanish, mob disguise, and many more. Well at least, not easily.

Second thing is I want to see more openness from the staff on everything basically. I understand some things want to be kept a surprise but the reason many storms arise is because everyone is hush hush about it and the players tend to speculate or go off rumours. I know many of us hate it and just want to be told the plain truth of things when they happen.

Events.

Over the weekend there was two events, one held by Hawk [i believe] and the other I am unaware. One for the PVP arena and the other one was the volcano event. Both of these events I found very enjoyable and I would love to see more like these, personally.

Cheaper house pricing is definately needed! In Asulon the average house was 10,000 minas + which is just rediculous. Have a set rubric of house prices, and go with it so people (like me) can stop living in a box and actually live in a normal house.

I think this would be something you would want to deal with in RP, go on strike or something. xD Though, I do believe that due to the smaller and more condensed nature of 3.0 that we have seen I could bet that houses will be smaller, making them cheaper.

What about adding free VIP after a month's voting straight like we had before? Maybe give non-donors coal and a single upgrade to the user's current VIP, if they have already donated.. It would last a month, then go away unless they voted another whole month straight. Possibly instead of putting Coal VIP infront of their names it could put (Voter) Coal VIP. This also gives people a little pride that they actually voted.

A cap for the total amount of minas on the server, around 10-50 million minas in the entire server. Add in a small amount of minas for voting. With limited voting the minas actually has value as opposed to Aegis and Asulon and it'll encourage more bartering with goods, and by having a small but steady influx of minas from voting it should keep the economy stable while still encouraging inflation and deflation.

Certain regions being able to grow certain crops while other cannot, and certain regions spawning certain types of animals while others do not. (IE. the orcs have more cows than other races, humans have more sheep.)

I would say that an increase on the amount of time crops take to grow, that being a full ig year, or half a year to echo how long it takes crops to grow irl. In addition to that it encourages people to make larger farms so they can feed people, but there be a longer wait for food to get out so we do not get a bread inflation like we have in Aegis and Asulon (it likely will happen anyways unless we have the suggestion Hiebe had of perishable food).

Make 2.5 amazing! Videos, pictures, livestreams. Make sure it seems awesome and fun for everyone, not a strict 100% lore correct bore fest, but something people will actually have fun with, and once all the transition lore is completed shut down the servers till 3.0. When I say shut down the servers I mean no temp server, no real server. No rp for about a month so that we can finish 3.0 and build hype for it like there was for Aegis. There was an extreme amount of hype for Aegis and no one had even played on it, this time if we say "Server is going down for a month, build hype, vote, watch our videos, and upvote our pictures on reddit," coupled with the word of mouth that our server is already amazing and we will be in good shape with an amazing map. I see no reason why we need to rush after everything that has happened in the past month. Just let everything be relaxed and fun again :)

Also it is finals season so it'd help college students who can't be on as much :(

Also, minas for voting could work if you add a little RP to it. You can vote, then in your screen a small message appears that describes a small RP scene. Someone could have dropped a bag of minas on the ground or a Wealthy lord had given some of his money to people all around Asulon.

This might be a good idea, although it wouldn't make sense if you lived on your own on the edge of the map, since nobody would go there

Hey Danny, we need to add the plugin that displays the number of people online. It will show people that we really do have a lot playing.

I would say to have 3-4 specific spots for Events in 3.0. This meaning that the ET and GMs can maybe edit the terrain or something and hold a fun roleplaying session. The area may be at the edge of the world or something so the event spot will not be open to players until a team member holds an event.

Next I would like to see is the mina notes and emeralds system back. This gave a good rp instead of doing /pay [money] [player]. Because of the map on the server (which I hope would be up in 3.0) there is no need really for a map.

Finally would be the skills system. I was one who liked having Vaq's skill plugin. This rp showed the true time it takes to learn a skill and how not everyone could have every skill. I know some people aren't on when you need a farmer, cook, blacksmith, etc., but it also gave players to venture around the world rply looking for their needs to be helped. I also liked the idea of crops growing as fast as irl.

Edit: Another thing (xD) would be to have the nicknames of players above their head instead of their mc name; also making it so that if someone is behind at least one block you cant see their name title. It was very hard when there be a lot of people in an area and you didn't know who was talking. The name behind the block thing also lead to meta-gaming to a lot of players, though they did not show it <- meaning that a person would know that another player is somewhere, like underground or around the corner, (ruining the surprise), but the player would Roleplay not seeing them until they appear.

*I see this server getting more and more life-like. Thank you to all the Team Members for what you have contributed. Loving this server and hope to see more great things!*

The volcano on the current temp map, erupting?

Muahahaha...

Possibly as a cause for us to leave?

That cause of us leaving is me stealing all of your goods. People will think the indigenous people are hidden ninjas, but the real perpetrator is me, riding along the very boats we all sail on, trying to escape these 'Indigenous people'.

I've always yearned to see better rewards for exploration in roleplay. With 3.0 coming, that's the PERFECT opportunity to seize that. I'd love to see it sort of like Skyrim, with rewards such as a magical weapon, or armor with some fun lore behind it, all after journeying through a dungeon or solving a challenging riddle in a cave.

Just my two cents!

I agree to putting minas back into voting. And maybe a message to your character could appear describing there being about 25 minas lying on the ground that someone must had lost.

I also think monsters should drop their normal drops once more. We druids, as well as the farmers across the world, need bones for our precious bonemeal to grow things. Perhaps make it as to where they can have a rare chance to drop a couple minas? In just 3-4 days (only about 5-6 hours a day) of being on the temp, I have collected over 50 minas just by defending myself from monsters.

I'm glad that I read we would see more events in 3.0. I am looking forward to possibly server-wide events, nation events, guild events, and even random events for a single person or a small group.

I was thinking that there should be some sort of trial system for positions such as FM, AT, VAT, etc. A person should be able to go in for, say, 2 weeks, and then show them either how awsome they are at their job and that they do indeed fill the position well, or show their true colors and show that they're lazy, bad at it, etc. This could allow for some new, fresh blood in the mix, and would allow the actual members of the teams to be as good as they possibly can be.

Like everybody else said, but I feel it's important, we need a staff overhaul. Burnt out people, lazy people, inactive people, they should go. Even if they're cherished loved, whatever, I think it's important for the staff to be a working machine, and then I'm sure people would be happier and everybody would get along better.

On a very specific note I would like to see a custom crafting recipe for saddles, and the allowance of animal breeding. (Which is viable in the temp server, but was not in Asulon.)

More realistic wars would be great, maybe by rarifying iron and diamonds (even for the dwarves) and instituting a skills system...

Encourage research (maybe using specific events to spur on the tech/arms race). I would also like to see regional benefits to go along with specific biomes, like pigs spawning higher in marshes and forests, cows and sheep spawning more readily in grasslands, and crops growing poorly in deserts, taigas, and snowy biomes, while growing normally in other biomes, and growing especially well up to 40-50 blocks from a large body of water. Of course, the dwarves get most of the minerals (and all diamonds). This would likely encourage diplomacy: trade agreements; territory buying, selling, or trading; partnering in the research of tech, or even sharing tech with less advanced nations.

For the skills system, I envision only advanced things needing the skills of somebody from that trade. Chain, iron, and diamond armor would need more and more skilled blacksmiths, respectively, and mining very deep would require a skilled miner. Crop yield bonuses would go to farmers (but everybody can farm to some extent), and combat bonuses go to experienced and/or well trained soldiers (gained from fighting pvp, or through rp training).

The first thing I would like(Obvious if you know me) is the magic plugin. I know it takes time to make something that in depth, but it was started BEFORE the undead invasion update, but Availer said that it had to be pushed back to the Next Update because it would take a Little bit longer to do.

I also do like the skill system(Or at least the mmorpg [i think it was called that] one we had near the beginning of the server) It still limited you to certain levels tools, but gave a whole lot more freedom than Vaq's. Plus it gave people abilities, eg. for mining it was Super Beaker, you would activate it and for X amount of time, you would mine X faster... depending on you're level in the skill
