The Asulon Final Event And Transition To 2.5

A rather simple and broad question, what are your thoughts on the event earlier today and the transition to 2.5? We are looking for feedback so we know what we did right and what we did wrong, that way we can make sure the next transition is even better!

Too much standing around doing nothing, too much spam on the boats, quite dull waiting period. Would of much preferred something more exciting. But eh, that's just me.

I felt it was sloppy and messy, however after everything started running smoothly it was great. I wanted to be on sea for four or five IRL days, because I had plans to instigate a War :/. Anyways it was really enjoyable.

It was ok. Just maybe next time, don't attempt to worldedit while the server is full of people and maybe instead of having long waiting periods filled with long nights of dragon and mob attacks, fill it in with something that everyone can be involved in, not just those who were lucky enough to make a bow and kill enough skeletons to shoot the dragons.

But All in all, it was a pretty good event, can't wait for the next one.

It might be just me, but Aegis boats were better; this one was one big clusterf*ck.

It started out awfully. I would say that the server should go up with 300 slots next time we transition FROM THE START OF THE EVENT! I would also have server downtime planned to do the worldedits, and have them prepared so the downtime isn't that long, in order so we can avoid the massive, debilitating lag. Once we got organized, at least we weren't killed by lag.

With regard to the event's action itself, I feel that there was not enough chaos, yet there was too much chaos. I think that more chaos that is MANAGED in order to promote roleplay is a must during the next event.
