big narstie 1701 Share Posted December 22, 2012 "The Dwarves do not need your help. The alliance is off." A grizzly site welcomes those whom would be entering the new Elven City today. A distinctly Elven head is pinned to a large, dwarven pike. Amoungst the area, the traveller would find massive amounts of blood around the area, pools near the building, as well as pools near the pike. Whilst it can not be affirmed if this was the work of the vigilanties or the work of the Dwarves themselves, the message is clear, and direct. The Dwarves do not want the alliance with the Elves to last, or so it would be assumed by the traveller. As the culprits throw their bloodied overcoats into the river and roll their shoulders in relief, they walk towards the city of the Dwarves. "Mission Accomplished." They chuckle in delight. "Hopefully this bastard alliance will not last long, and we will not need to pursue this further."

Roderick Greymane / Vegas 219 Share Posted December 22, 2012 A few hours later another scene almost identical to the first is splayed out in front of the Dwarven Stronghold. "The Elves do not need your help. The alliance is off." A grizzly site welcomes those whom would be entering the new Dwarven Hold today. A distinctly Dwarven head is pinned to a an elegant elven pike. Amoungst the area, the traveller would find massive amounts of blood around the area, pools near the hold's entrance, as well as pools near the pike. Whilst it can not be affirmed if this was the work of the vigilanties or the work of the Elves themselves, the message is clear, and direct. The Elves do not want the alliance with the Dwarves to last, or so it would be assumed by the traveller. The Culprits quickly run away from the scene as some dwarves walk out of the hold, shouting as they ran, "THE ELVES DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!" and running off into the night. "Elves, dwarves dunne use pikes an we treat out allies safely in our lands. Der are sum sneaky bastards at wurk ere." Truthseeker83 119 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Amarath could tell something was off. First, how in the world the dwarfs learned to speak that clearly. After the report of the on in the dwarven kingdom his suspension grew. Wondering why a mali would use the impure language of the valah's. After getting these reports, he sends out his hawk, informing his contact.
Destroyer_Bravo 1054 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Ellsia saw the man put up the pike at the dwarves, and had done ingame RP from that point forward.
Aryon 679 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Aryon has seen all the OOC in this thread, and wishes for it to stop. He would also inform the posters, that if there is a problem, feel free to send a PM to a Nation Leader.

argonian 14254 Share Posted December 23, 2012 While wandering around the Elven hold, asking for the directions to the Dwarven hold, where he'd see a friend of his, Thomas sees the pike. He turns away quickly after seeing the rotting, Elven head with the skin peeling off of it. He reads the sign and mutters, "This will not end an alliance, this will start a war." Amarath could tell something was off. First, how in the world the dwarfs learned to speak that clearly. After the report of the on in the dwarven kingdom his suspension grew. Wondering why a mali would use the impure language of the valah's. After getting these reports, he sends out his hawk, informing his contact. ((It's on a sign, they didn't do any speaking.)) WickedRN 60 Share Posted December 23, 2012 Earenniel strides through the woods, her new dress flowing at her heels. Suddenly she comes to a halt. Before her is a bloodied elven head mounted on a crude pike. Swallowing back bile she reads the signs placed around it. Her face contorts in anger before she realizes that the writing is printed in clear, fully comprehensible words. She lets out a small bark of laughter at the failed attempt to start a war between the elves and the dwarves. Grabbing two large leaves to use as a brier between her hands and the flesh of the dead elf she yards the now rotting head off the pike. The head makes a sickening "Shhlk" noise as it comes off and Earenniel once again tries to hold in the contents of her stomach. With the head held gingerly in both hands she sets off to the Mali settlement to give the head a proper burial. ((P.S. What he was saying was that dwarves have a very distinct way of talking and writing.))
Smithers 388 Share Posted December 23, 2012 Silir'ilume chuckles at the report that has been laid out in front of him. He turns to the scout that had just placed it upon his desk. "Any negotiations regarding anything as large as an alliance will be dealt with between the leaders of each nation. This so-called "break" in the alliance is both null and void from both the Elven and Dwarven sides. Neither have the authority to make any sort of decision. Inform all that any grievances can be taken up with High Prince Bravepaw or the High Council. The alliance will stand firm as always."
