Return of Karl ‘Orcbane’ Frostbeard

*The Dwarves gather as Karl comes out Dwarven Boat*

T’is been a long time lads since ‘ave ‘ad de chance tae speek tae all uf ye! A see a lot uf new facies. *Puts his arm over Gorum’s shoulder*

After the Dwarven-Orc war I ‘ad tae leave de kingdom, I could nae bare de doug’t dat I ‘ad killed meh own son w’o I ‘ad raised. W’at can I seh? I was crazed with anger and I let it take de best of me. After de wars and landing in Asulon I left de kingdom wif onleh givin Algrim de knowledge of meh departure and tellin ‘im tae take care of meh beardlins. I left and wandered de land until I found a small cave in w’ich I could rest for de noig’t and dere I decided tae settle for de rest of meh dehs and diein in isolation from the Dwarves & meh Kin. So I started workin and workin until I made de cave into a ‘ome of sorts. I lived off de land, killin animals and collectin wool for clothin and makin tools from nearbeh objects and just.. survoived.

I ‘ad given up all ‘ope of returnin and was adamant on de doug’t of dehin on meh own as a sort of self-punishment for killin meh son and little tae meh knowledge meh son Gorum was raisin a small group uf men to go and search for me. Most would have dough’t I was dead but a Frostbeard does nae die dat easileh! *Lets out a deep laugh*. On de brig’t side I still kept meh trusteh sword of the Brother’ood with me. Just before we came tae dis Island of Elysium I ‘eard someone walking in de cave and got on meh guard as I ‘ad not had a visitor for years and grabbed meh sword. I slowleh walked into de main center of de cave as I seen a Dwarf standin confused lookin around and I charged ‘im and grabbed ‘im, puttin ‘im up against de wall wif meh blade against ‘is droat and askin ‘W’O ARE YE’ and ‘earin de voice of meh son Gorum sehin “It’s Gorum Frostbeard” as ‘e pushed me off ‘im. It was meh son *Sighs in sadness* De son dat I had nae seen for several years still rememberin ‘is fader.

So I left everydin as it was and took meh sword and followed de Frostbeard’s back to de Kingdom where everyone was getting ready to leave Asulon. I ‘ad meh hood up as I was afraid to see ‘ow people would react to meh sudden return and I slowleh walked onto de boat w’ere Gorum ‘ad told me everehdin dat ‘ad ‘appened in meh absence. I am grateful to be ‘ere with all of ye again and alive.

*Karl looks around* W’ere is de ale!!!!

Holris hears this, and responds in amazement.

"Tis ye really a be Karl, the son of me brother Drakk? I a nae been seen ye since ye were be a wee beardling. Tis be a funny thing that a now two Frostbeards have emerged from their own exilin' to their kin..."

The ancient dwarf pauses, thinking of winter nights filled with roaring silence. Holris looks up again, smiling broadly as he has not done in centuries.

"Tis a risin' time for the Frostbeards, me be a thinkin'."

Gorum smirks, living to see the day his father would return.

" Aye... it truly be an 'onor tu 'ave ye among our people once again, father. Not because ye be me kin, but because ye be th' Orcbane! Ah legendary warrior known amongst th' dwarves! Ah warrior whus tales 'ave lived awn even in yer absence. Th' Fros'beard kin truleh be great, an' it be an 'onor tu be reunited. "

Gorum raises his mug of ale.

" Har har, tu th' Fros'beard kin, an' tu th' fallen brothers ov new Jornheim! "

Gorum cheers as he chugs his ale.
