It's been just over half an hour and there is already 18 pages... That is because there have been a few cases where brothels and such have been great places to roleplay and it can greatly add to realism but at the same time some believe it is too risky to have brothels allowed at all since they may lead to cybering. You've all gotten worked up about nothing. The server has been of 13 since aegis. All kinds of cybering rp was bannable, this includes brothels and hookers since aegis. Wake up everyone, you just didn't pay attention to the rules. This shouldn't be named a change in policy, it should be a reitterment to those who have seemingly forgotten the rules. "but blundermore, brothels have been in asulon blah blah blah" Is that so? And what about actual brothel rp? Oh yeah, that's right, there isn't anyone rping in brothels. No one does, truth is that it is an empty building with a sign on it. It doesn't add to the rp and I don't care for people saying it is period accurate. You want period accurate? Fine! Go scrub my floors you dirty peasant, your not a noble swordsman, you don't even have a job, your not important in the slightest and you will never amount to anything more than a peasant. Not a great aspect in life is it? Well that is period accurate, so if you want to argue that, then fine, but say good bye to your cut throat knights and all that in the process and say hello to just being a farmer. To be the most blunt I can, this is quite bullshitting situation. From couple months back changes were just turning more and more limiting, hindering people's ability to roleplay properly. I know there were cases of extreme, rude, innapropriate behaviour and roleplay, but to be fair a bit of spice can make RP much better. No prostitution, innuendos.....Really? Not only not permitting stronger innuendos is utter lack of humour, prostitution and those sorts were videly spread in medieval times (As, again, mentioned before), yet they are so limited. Also, I imagine no more bards singing serendaes to girls about embracing their 'milky-white orbs'. All of this... Why don't we just turn into anime server? Cheesy, incomplete roleplay and defeating enemies by power of friendship and love. I'm sorry for sounding so sour and harsh, I probably exaggerate. It's just my view though. However, people did not emote or explain these types of actions with full detail; instead, they explained what was more important or basic, and you could imagine the rest, making things such as blood splattered around, or vital organs being munched like bubble gum things which people would be able to imagine, depending on their age. Orgies. Everyone knew orcs were the ones who organized the biggest orgies, sometimes involving a cactus. I had not, EVER, seen any group of people actually role-play something like this. It was known, and that was enough to make some damn good role-play. What I want to say is, that people do not need to emote with full detail, depending on what they are doing; we should stop whining, and be mature around these things.
