Arahael walks purposefully towards Elorna.

"Dour Druid Dover ((racingbrother)) is the newest Head Scribe/Head Master."

Elorna nods to Arahael with a smile. "Ah, thank you, llir!" She then returns to the list and pens in the new name, raising an eyebrow at its length.

*looks at Elorana and makes a half smile half frown*

I would advise you not put that up for if some rebellious ones see you perhaps they will not like these....politicians. I for one dont, but I won't kill you but perhaps some will

*at that he shrugs and goes silent*

Elorna nods her head to him reluctantly. "Oh... Mr. Rarethorn, karin'ayla again..." She glances at the scroll and lets out a little sigh, and without turning away she says, "Perhaps you are right. But any who have such evil intentions will already be familiar with their targets. Of those on the High Council, anyway... the Lower Council, possibly not. I may take it down if it truly comes to that."

*Vanir hesitantly speaks, keeping his voice down so it does not carry. His sudden appearance came from the fact that he was, as before, doing his best to blend in and seem like just another nameless Mali.*

"I may argue with the radicals, but my morals will always win out. If bloodshed comes about, it will be a blade into my body as I defend those who would have taken the blow. Even the most outspoken would hesitate to bring down the final blade, unless circumstances forced otherwise."

*He nods towards Elorna.*

"You especially have naught to fear, as you are seen as what the council should be... at least, to me. I would imagine I cannot be the sole one to think such."

*Vanir sighs and runs his finger down the string of his bow, which is slung across his back. He appears to be about to speak again, but then falls silent.*

Elorna approaches the scroll once again. Still recalling the words of Rarethorn and Vanir, she places the updated list up hesitantly. With a sigh she looks over the newly blank spaces on both councils, then turns to address whatever crowd is near the gate.

"I'm sure many of you think that we've lost our entire High Council. This is not true, as the only princes who chose to leave were Kolyat and Isirack. All the rest remain to see us through whatever may lie ahead for Malinor."

Vanir looks to Elorna, hesitantly speaking.

"Despite some remaining, a reshuffling of the government is imminent.  With those who of you speak gone, now we can have a peaceable talk with those who remain... Azel, I believe, is attempting to gain an audience so we can move forward with progress as efficiently as possible."

Silevon frowns, overhearing the two's conversation. He decides to enter into it.

"Azel is the Dark Elf, correct? Is he not the same one with armies gathered outside our home? I am quite new to the situation that has arisen here, forgive me."

Vanir nods towards Silevon, understanding his confusion.

"Yes, though we should not fear his armies - they are not here to forcibly destroy Malinor.  They are merely here to defend it from outside threats while a new Malinor is made.  If anything, we should take solace in the fact that they are there.  Though, not all Mali see it that way... Not all Mali know of our weakness, and why we need a show of strength."

Silevon frowns in reply.

"What of this new Malinor? Is Malinor being reconstructed?"

Vanir nods.

"Of a sort. You may or may not be aware of the conflict that has arisen with the old regime and the reformation movement.  Time will make this clearer."

Silevon smiles.

"I assume you are correct. Time shall tell."

Silevon walks off to who-knows-where.

Elorna returns to the scroll once again, adding the two druids to the High Council, and Iatrilemar to the Lower Council.

Ebs notices that Isirack's name has reappeared on the list, and chuckles softly.
