The Baron de Sarkozy's left arm begins to shake uncontrollably as he is told of the wedding he was not invited to. He clenches his teeth and begins to grind them.

 

"That vermillion-haired sodomite has the gall to host a wedding without me!"

[Old Man Boiendl 1454]

Boiendl is quietly strolling around in a pumpkin patch, smashing them as he walks. As he does this his ears perk up and he spots his old run down and half dead owl flying towards him. It lands at his feet and drops an invitation. He picks  up the invitation and the jimmies rustle through him and he quickly opens the letter, reading it quickly he nods to himself.

 

"It's time."

 

Boiendl looks towards the sun and whistles. Quickly his donkey appears, he mounts it slowly and checks for his hammer.

"Donkey, it's time...."

The donkey makes whatever sound donkeys make and trots off into the sunset. After hours of trotting the donkey stops at a dark cave. Boiendl hops off and grunts as he walks into the cave. Inside the cave Boiendl quickly opens a chest and pulls out one of his finest and never before seen article of clothing. Along with the piece of clothing he pulls out a crossbow loaded with blunt bolts and a small flimsy dagger made of wool. He flexes a little and gets on the new clothing, once he finishes putting it on he sheathes his weapons. Walking out of the cave Boiendl spits at the ground. Mounting his donkey once more he gives it a kick and he begins to ride off towards the sunset and beyond....

Rose hastily writes a response, a frown creasing her face as she imagines her cousin marrying Jullius. The note is written in disjointed, hasty cursive on a fine sheet of white paper, and given to the messenger to return to the sender.

 

Countess Rose Valois will be attending the wedding of her cousin, Isabella.
