The Opening Of Dawn's Bakery!

It is a bright, clear day in Salvus. A few common folk are gathered around the Lion Square, speaking to each other and trading. As always, people are up and about doing things. It is quite loud, as it is a busy day in Salvus. A man dressed in a red coat and hat steps onto a stone. He has a bell in his right hand and a note in his left. The man, Thrasybulos de Angelis, begins to ring the bell.

 

"Hear ye, hear ye, people of Salvus! It is to be known on this day, that there shall be a new bakery here in our city! The establishment shall go by the name of Dawn's Bakery, owned and ran by Dawn Ashby (Diggintildawn)! It is encouraged that you go and greet her, and wish her warm welcome and good luck at her establishment! Like all new tradesmen here at Salvus, we welcome her with open arms! It has been said that the bread she creates tastes heavenly! The Bakery is right behind the Lion's Pond, by the south gate!"

 

"In other news across the Empire, it has been rumored that Emperor Godfrey has smelly feet!"

 

Thrasybulos rings his bell once more and steps off the stone, smiling with content.

*Rosso hears the talk of Dawn from a friend when travelling to Salvus for trade. He looks at him confused*

"Wasn't Dawn the witch who was over five hundred years old that ruled Salvus and was killed? Is it the same person? Bloody... I heard of curse free humans and fought liches in my life, but she must be a bloody powerful witch to have survived the stories I heard. Well, I might go confirm it once, she might be a witch, but I heard the food was good."

*Later in a Tavern he hears of the Emperors' smelly feet and chokes on the ale while laughing*

(( I have had such a great time tonight on the server. Its been so much fun to RP with so many new members and see many old friends and I want to thank you all for the warm welcomes.

 

For some of you that may be confused, please let me clarify this. My current character's name IS Dawn. Dawn is my IRL name and most people call me by it already, so I chose to use it again in RP. Her last name is Ashby...its a bit of a joke based on the fact that the old "Dawn" character died by fire. I, the real life woman, has always enjoyed the RP that the bakeries have created and I wished to do what I enjoyed the most, again. The parallels to my old character come only from this RL influence. My current character is in no way related to the Pereas of the past. I hope this clears up any confusion and hope that this post announcing my new bakery does not become a home for trolls. I hope to see everyone in the bakery soon! :D))
