Howdy folks,

We haven't had a newsletter this month, so this is just a small post about what's changed and what's to come on The Lord of the Craft. I'll be writing us up a newsletter for next month however that will have all the usual features! I'd also like to apologise for the lack of communication regarding content updates lately, we have been neglecting that duty slightly.

The news in this regarding server content in this section may be considered slightly belated over it is important nonetheless. We've recently made two brand new additions to the server - one of these is permanent, one is temporary.

The first (and permanent) new feature is the auto shop system - this is a feature that we had back on Asulon for a short while, and is a very effective and efficient way for us to manage shops. Rather than posting a long and detailed piece of information about it here, and making this post huge, I'll drop a link to a fantastic guide by Ever, which you can check out here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/84166-lotc-official-autoshop-guide/

Secondly, is our temporary mining world - we have this set up as a temporary solution to our current mining issues. In the close future, however, we will be imlementing an entirely roleplay and innovative mining system that will allow you to enjoy mining and to also gain from it.

So - now the recent game features are dealt with, we can discuss some other things relating to the server that I want to let you know about.

Regarding the website firstly - we have some big changes to the website coming very soon. We'll no longer be having to put up with this style that Tythus quickly whisked together for us! No more info on that!

Again, website-related: our brand new 'Help Station' system will be launched soon. This is a feature of the website that contains articles on just about ever aspect of the server. It is a searchable database which contains information on plugins and how to use them, Roleplaying tips and 'what to do in a situation' articles. We're hoping it will greatly aid with providing assistance to players when they need it.

I also intend on making further use of the 'Your View' forum to gauge player opinions on future updates and/or server issues, as we've not used it in quite a while, unfortunately.

In case anyone missed - we've also made the Northern Mountains publicly accessible. Refer to the 'Events' forum (under News and Information) for the updates on things such as this!

Finally, I highly recommend that you take need of the recent news post regarding taking in character issues to out of character. It is quite important that we all understand that very well. (Edit by Cappy: You can find it here.)

Cheers, and enjoy your Roleplaying!

- The Lord of the Craft Staff

P.S. I typed this on my iPad, I blame any typos on that - not myself. ;)

... So... Instead of actual RP... We have to click a button and an item magically appears in our inventory...  :genuis:

I only tease of course ;3 I honestly prefer roleplay over simple shop pluggins, but this is more convenient anyways and is a lot faster :3 Thanks for the newsletter!

Bravo Danny. Been wondering where the newsletter had gone. Now all I need to do is find the temporary mine and get perms!
