A poster hangs from a pole located near the path heading to the ever-glorious Laboratory. It is quite impossible not to notice it, thus your eyes strick upon the poster, as you begin to read:

Mali'Aheral of the Silver City, I ask for your attention.

As you can see, the laboratory has been built. This has been done by myself, Silvos Sythaerin. However, this leaves us with a lack of space for anyone wildly doing random experiments. Thus, I have come to a conclusion that it shall be required to fill in the form that can be found below, should one wish to obtain some space in the laboratory. Any setups or desks that haven't been requested by said form shall be removed without warning. 

 

Once applied, any willing scientist should consult myself in the laboratory to obtain one's work space. One should also note that any scientific research done outside of the lab without informing myself is forbidden, and shall result in punishment.I thank you for your consideration.

With little research into the area of psychology, I believe this would be most useful to use. I would be investigating how the brain works involving both biological and assumptions on the way people think. This information could be vital in helping people who may be suffering from certain mental illnesses or even help children who have been through traumatic experiences.

 

The first area I will research will involve the biological side of psychology, I will attempt to discover more about the structure of the brain along with each section does. This research will be extremely difficult as discovering what each part of the brain does is likely to require a living patient, the issue is opening their brain whilst living not only causes mass pain but also have a 95% chance of death during. Until I can discover a more efficient process of this its likely to be kept quiet.

 

The second area I will attempt to discover includes the mental, thinking part of psychology. I will interview different people with different issues, along with them I will also attempt to interview many other types of people till I can generalize more accurately about certain methods of thinking, and what effects this. I will also attempt to figure out more information into the method in which a person grows and develops mentally.

 

Due to the current limited knowledge of this area, much research will be needed before any valid conclusions are made. The laboratory being needed for biological experimentation on the brain.

From my time in the Arcane Delvers I saw many create odd and unusual substances within the laboratory. After further inquiry I learnt it was the art of 'Alchemy'. Curiosity heightened, I asked one of the members who I had seen practicing the art. Gauldrim Irongut, a small yet rather intelligent Bortu. I questioned him and he allowed me to help with one of his experiments. It interested me immensely.  

 

Recently I have acquired tomes on the topic. I intend to undertake my own experiments in a safe environment such as the laboratory. This will all be done for the cihi in the hope it will benefit those dwelling within in some way.

Such a work space will prove quite useful as a two part study- One's office, and the room in which I shall perform my less cleanly experiments, and perhaps heal the thill in need of such an action. If not available, a general space of 5x5 shall do, for the time.

What more need I say? I wish to study medicine, as I have in the past. Too often do I see the blessed citizens of Haelun'or harmed, without immediate answers as to how one solves such a problem. This office would offer me the space I need to do so, and in doing so, I shall progress the venerated city and her citizens forward, into a new age of medicine and health.
