I've been distributing a personally made client for the Terrafirmacraft mod amongst my peers, I do not believe there to be any form of malicious software within the files after checking it for such. But if the client is posing a problem and said players I have shared the files with exhibit malicious acts against the server I'll make sure to stop sharing it.

Most of these are keyloggers so if you didn't enter your info, you should be fine. I'd still be good to scan your PC with an antivirus though just in case the one you got was a virus.
