Once the news of his brother's fate, Bazian has been at the footsteps of the gods in the temple; mainly Dungrimm's shrine.

"O great god 'n th' sky. Ah call to yah as ah cast me eyes upon th' glowin' sphere ov moonloight. As ah 'ave grown 'n age me calls tew yah 'ave gone less frequent as ah call onto Ogradhad for knowledge 'nd wisdom, but ah call unto yah now as ah ahm stricken wit' grief. Great 'nd 'onorable, show meh th' way to 'onor such ah great fallen brot'er."

At that moment, Bazian's eyes opened up wide. He stands up as straight as he cane, using his cane to prop himself upright. He slowly walks out of the temple and towards the entrance.

Bazian carefully leans his cane on the railing just outside of the main entrance  He looks out onto the crowds of dwarves busy at the markets and drinking ale. The old dwarf clears his throat calmly but with a stern, stone cold expression on his face.  He begins to speak in a strong, bellowing voice.

"SOILENCE!" He pauses for a bit and then continues talking. "Ah great sadness is cast over th' 'alls dese days. 'ushed voices in th' dark corners in remembrance, 'eads pointed downward 'n grief. Aye, ah can feel it in th' depths ov me 'eart..."

Bazian takes a quick pause and regains his composure.

"Dis is not th' way weh ought to beh 'onorin' Valen. Aye it is ah great loss true, but 'ave weh really t'ought deep in remembrance ov 'im? Come, w'at great deeds 'nd 'onorable fins could 'e 'ave dun? Plenty, ah'll tell yah w'at! Dis dwarf did moar fins den yah could possibly know! 'e put 'is 'onor on th' loine plenty ov toimes fer th' kingdom 'nd its people, 'nd ah fink its 'ightoime weh repay our debt!"

The old dwarf grips his cane for fear of sudden retaliation about the next words he will say, even though he knows them to be true in the deepest parts of his soul. He shouts the next part.

"Valen should beh 'onored as ah PARAGON! 'nd any ov yah t'at say otherwoise are jus' foolin' yerself. Now, w'at say ye!?"

Bazian waits for the uproar of comments sure to follow.

Thrym is shocked by the news that his friend Valen is dead.

"Oi've been gone far too long..." he mutters. Then, however, he raises his voice, one of the first, in support of what Bazian proposes.

"Valen was un ov da foinest dwarves oi eva met, an example ta meh w'en oi was young an' still un to meh now w'en oi'm old! I say 'e should be given dis 'ona!"

Hiebe keeps his old.mouth shut, his mind wanders to the.older days when every dwarf he knows has done something to dis obey the gods. He thinks of how unloyal all the.clans are and how only a few dwarves he can respect. He tries to smile when thinking of Valen.

*Aksel looks at the dwarf and thinks about everything he said, then he reminds himself of all the story's of the one they call Valen. He decides to speak clear for anyone who wants to hear.*

"He is famous in almost every part of the country, when i travelled people always talked about him or a story where he was in concerning dwarves. What i heared of him he was a fine warrior, the best diplomat and a humble loyal dwarf. He also wrote the dwarven history book and went to the bludeh nether. He is a dwarf that i and more dwarves aspire to be, he desirves to become a paragon."

*then he waits for other dwarves to speak*

Archbishop Koryk Starbreaker stands on the outskirts of the crowd of grieving dwarves. He listens quietly with his usual stern expression, a pickaxe being used to support his weight. He raises his brow as he hears the dwarves mention making Valen Grandaxe a Paragon, furthermore so when he hears Paragon Kjell Stormhammer issue his support. He pulls from within a pocket of his robe a small book, letting it rest in the crest of his arm as he writes something into it. After finishing writing he pockets the book, resuming his time spent listening to the grieving dwarves with the same expression as before.

Gorum turns to Bael after Kjell finishes speaking.

" You cannae fer'get that even your clan left the Kingdom at one point. Every Clan 'as 'ad their wrong doings in th' past, but ye shouldn' fer'get that Valen Grandaxe died from 'is long term wounds protectin' not only our kin, but all ov Aegis. Th' others whu accompanied 'im 'ave been 'onored with Paragonship, ah believe 'e should as well. Not only fer riskin' 'is life in th' nether, but bein' th' backbone ov th' Kingdom fer ah long toime. Ah give me full support ov Valens Paragonship. "

Thudin Grandaxe stands in the middle of the crowd while looking directly towards Bazian.  A solemn expression among his face, he quickly pushes through the crowd, walking towards the front.  He quickly blurted out his opinion.

"Oi fulleh suppoht moi gran'fadd'rs becomin' 'o Paragon.  'e was a moighty foine dwarf until 'is deat', accomplishin' many'a t'ing's oin 'is loife.  In deat' 'e cannaeh do aneht'in' tu tarnish 'is reputation, 'nd 'is sacrafoices allowed tae Dwarven Natiun, tae Dwarven Race, 'nd tae rest 'o tae world tae stay aloive.  People may say t'at Valen 'ad 'is problems 'nd blemishes, buht oi dunnaeh beloif t'at all 'o tae ott'er Paragons are perfect.  Oit's w'at 'e accomplish'd fer tae Koingdum t'at s'oold count moar fer tae toitle 'o Paragon oin Khaz'A'Dentrumm."
