A figure steps through the hefty gates of Ac'Talarah, slowly striding within. Tis the dead of night but from the flickering light of the glowstone one could make out a jagged scar crossing the  ebon visage of the. Pausing to cough violently Polgrath releases his hood. His travels to the bitter north have not been kind to him. Tales from passing adventurers and hunters had reached him of the state of the Delvers and his return had come. Looking over several postings on the wall a sly grin creeps up his face. His cracked lips slowly croak a quiet phrase.

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,

strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

Heinz walks up to the ruin with a pack slung over his back. He begins to run his hand along the course wall as he walks towards the entrance. Before entering he kneels down and slides out a small book and quill. Heinz quickly sketches a small picture of the surrounding lands. He then takes out a map and marks the destination. Heinz finally retreats back to the Delver base to tell his superiors of this.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures

in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out

what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Heinz begins to slowly make his way over to the men. Before reaching them he quickly turns around and sits in the nearest chair. Heinz then tilts head slightly towards the men to hear better and to search for any weapons. If they were to carry weapons, Heinz would slowly get up and leave the bar, not wanting any conflict. If they were posses no weaponry, Heinz would stay and listen or possibly confront them if they seemed friendly enough.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a

Authentic magic user?(accepted magic user?): Nay, I seek the arts but I haven't close to achieving apprenticeships.

If so what form of magic ye use?:

Do ye seek adventure, knowledge, and companionship?:
Of course! A man fresh out of the circus can never hope for destinies higher.

All applying will be apply for the applicant position. However should you pass that stage what profession might you take on? Note that if you want to learn magic you must speak to a Delver Arcanist personally:

Aye, magic would be the first go-to. However, it is said I cannot take it up without companions. More time with the Delvers, possibly I can take it up. Naturally, I'm a performer of the sorts.

What combat skills have ye?:
None extensively. Sometimes we would set fire to the whips and lash 'em out for the crowd. If this would get an combatant's attention, aye, I might have a skill in mind!

Short Response for all Applicants, write how ye

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,

Pernux adjusts himself, looking around. His breath is shallow.
God, I'm stupid. Should I be even doing this?
Unconsciously, Pernux has already taken out the coiled whip, letting it unravel to the ground. That's what he never got to do, in his life. Never stray far from the caravan that was his life. He will never go back. He slowly  walks into the ruin. If it's alive, I can get it. Thing is, I don't think those lights are alive. Pernux slowly walks in.

A ghostly murmur goes from behind him. He instinctively lashes out to the "target" behind him, only to find the murmur did not belong to someone. He looks forward, down a menacing hall. Whispers.. murmurs.. lights.. faint figures.... I can't do it! Pernux runs out of the ruins. Ought to inform the Delvers about this, they'd know!

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures
in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out
what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Pernux laughs, sliding two gold coins to a bar-buddy.
"Yes, yes she was! A horror to be 'round. Couldn't manage her when I left Abresi, thank God!" laughs Pernux, sipping more beer.
"I'm goin' to go fetch some more beer. Come along, Rick, I'll get ye some too." says Thomas, pulling along another table buddy. Pernux leans back in his chair, smiling. He sips beer, tuning his ears to conversations around him.

Artifact. Faint, but he heard it. I'm not dreamin' stuff, I heard what I heard. Pernux turns his head around the bar, looking for the source. He spots them, two dark hooded men in the corner, murmuring, of the likes. He then catches it. Artifact. Pernux stands from his table, shouting out to Rick and Thomas. "I'll be 'eadin' home! Enjoy yourselfs.." Pernux steps between the isle of tables, standing 10 feet or so from the conversation. Appearing to lean against the wall, drinking beer, Pernux tunes in on the conversation. It's still too faint. Pernux looks at the two men huddled up, when one of them look up.

Pernux's heart skips a beat from one of the hooded man's looks. Dark. Menacing, and cold. Hatred. Pernux takes a step back. The alcohol is messing with his ability to percieve what is happening. He can't put up a disguise, not now. The man speaks in a baratone voice, "What did you hear?" Pernux shakes his head, backing up. The dark hooded man races his voice, approaching him. "What did you hear, you dimwit?" Pernux backs up to the door, where he promptly bursts out. Running away, it may have not be neccessary, but Pernux did not want a tango with those men. The dark hooded man bursts out of the bar, but to see the faint figure of Pernux jogging away. Shaking his head, the dark hooded man reenters the bar.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a
masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a
necromancer.

Pernux backs up, narrowing his eyes on the hooded man. This necromancer has done nothing, probably. He doesn't deserve this. Pernux pulls his hood over his head, uncoiling his whip from the satchel. He straightens his back, clearing his throat softly. Still unseen from them, he takes out a small bottle of oil and douses his whip in it. Rubbing flint and steel between his fingers, he produces a flame. Setting it on the whip, it comes aflame in the dark night.

The hooded man turns, setting his eyes on Pernux, and the flaming whip. Pernux booms out, "Do you /DARE/ push around a member of the Order? You do have the audacity to STAND here? I will harness your soul, the fool!" Pernux lets his whip swing back and forth. It cannot reach the hooded man, but the threat of intense heat does. The hooded man shakes his head, backing away from both of them. He turns, walking briskly away. Pernux sighs, letting down his stretched figure. He takes a flask of water, watering down his fiery whip. The necromancer snorts. "You dun' know magic, do you?" Pernux laughs softly. "No, I don't. But I can act, and that's pretty much all you need." Pernux peers at the Necromancer, before extending his hand. "Pernux."

Given name(RP name):

Tybaro Carthos

(Skype name if you have one):

Ryski112

True name(MC name):

Ryski

Race:

Human

Authentic magic user?(accepted magic user?):

Magic? Nay. Tha' stuff way beyon' me head.

If so what form of magic ye use?:

Do ye seek adventure, knowledge, and companionship?:

Adventure? Aye, who doesn' like adventure? Knowledge? I'm lackin' some o' tha', so it would be appreciated. Companionship? Sure, ah' make friend's easy e'nuff.

All applying will be apply for the applicant position.
However should you pass that stage what profession might you take on?
Note that if you want to learn magic you must speak to a Delver Arcanist
personally:

It be tha' pathfinder fer' me.

What combat skills have ye?

I can't swing a sword fer half a mina, buh' me bow 'n' arrow skills couldn' be better.

Short Response for all Applicants, write how ye

would respond:

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,

strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

Tybaro raises an eyebrow and stares at the curious structure for a while. Many things are going theough his head, such as:

"Wha' kinda magicall stuff could be hidden inside there?"

And: "Wha' the fewk is makin' all those annoying noises?"

He shrugs, silently asks the creator to grant him good luck, and steps forward into the ruin. He notices many strange scripts and curious designs. Bow drawn and moving in his crouched stance, Tybaro cautiously walks deeper into the ruin. His face says that all the strange scirpts means something to him, but Tybaro has learnt to naturally mask his thoughts. In all honesty, Tybaro hasn't the single clue what's going on. The strange noises, the funny glows, and the eerie feeling makes Tybaro decide to leave and come back later with more knowledgable company.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures

in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out

what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Tybaro is sitting down drinking his ale and eating a fresh loaf of bread when his acute ears prick up at the word "artifact". Tybaro's expression makes it clear that something has interested and surprised him, but only for a split second. He takes control over his automatic muscle reactions and changes his expression back to the normal, almsot bored looking Tybaro. I didn't take long for him to figure out the word came from directly behind him, where he noticed two dark hooded individuals sitting at a table when he entered. Tybaro now has his face turned down at his food, but his ears trying to get as much information as possible out of the murmered sounds of the two figures over the loud noise of the bar. Tybaro manages to catch something gaga about secret magical ruins, powerful artifacts, and possibly something about a wizard. This all being beyond the head of Tybaro.

After he finishes his drink and his bread, Tybaro gets up, hands over the minas and thanks the bar owner. On his way out, Tybaro takes note of the two hooded figures and the scarce facial features he can make out under the dark hoods. Just like every other time Tybaro finds something unusual, he takes out his paper and charcoal and roughly sketches the two figures and all the features he can remember. He scribbles in what he remembers from the snippets of conversation he caught, then adds it to his collection of drwaings of curious people.

Tybaro takes note that the word "magic" keeps getting used in such a serious sense, and he strives to learn more.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a

masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a

necromancer.

Tybaro sighs. Probably another poor wizard being mistaken for an evil person. Why the mages couldn't just use their supreme powers to fend off these threats was a quetion that mistified Tybaro. Nevertheless, Tybaro sucks up his courage and decides to do a good thing for once in his life. He taps the man with the sword on the back lightly.

The man turns around, and looks at him with an angry face. "Wha'?" is all he says. Tybaro replies with a sort of I-don't-like-being-nice-but I-have-to expression "Why're ye' threatning this man?".

"'Cos' e's a necromancer, tha's why! Jus' look at him. Ye' a necromancer too, huh? Or like a... A friend o' one! Huh?!"

Tybaro instnatly knows from that sentence that this man was certainly of an intelligence lower than his.

"Nay... Buh' e's clearly noh' a necromancer. Jus' a kindly old mage from the college, righ'?" The hooded man nods.

The man, clearly aggravated, throws his sword down and charges at Tybaro. Tybaro knows he can't fight him, being much larger, so he decides to go for an easier route. The man tackles Tybaro to the ground, and as they wrestle on the floor, Tybaro reaches into the man's pockets and slyly takes small pouch of minas. Tybaro holds it for a while, then manages to break free and stand up. Quickly, Tybaro holds out the pouch by the end, and hovers it over the nearby well. The man notices what Tybaro had done, and barks at him "Gimme back me' fewkin' minas!". Tybaro replies "Only if ye' geh' lost. If noh' then it's down the well." The man stares at Tybaro for a little while, then decides to give in. He walks up, snatches the the pouch of minas, and walks off grunting to himself.

The mage thanks Tybaro despite being rather surprised at what just happened. Tybaro only smiles and walks off, inspecting his well earned minas. About a mile off, an angry man screams at realising his pouch of minas is now a pouch of dirt.
