Count Aron Bedevere, Lord-Steward of Salvus and newly chosen 'imperial chamberlain' sits in his office chair for the first time in months, a blonde and feminine looking scribe before him. "Ye' called, mi'lord" the boy squeaks in a prepubescent voice, "Aye" Aron gestures his head forward to the quill and parchment set out on the desk. Obediently, the boy wraps his hand around the quill, and begins to write.

 

"Lords, citizens, and visitors of Salvus; the present war with the Dwarven nation posses a large threat on Salvus, its city, and counties alike. With the possibility of oncoming attack, his Imperial Majesty Horen V wishes the immediate evacuation of all Salvian citizens, and Lords alike.

 

All visitors, and merchants of Salvus who posses no real estate are asked to leave its lands, and return to their respective nation.

All citizens of Kingston are to send word to Lord Aron Bedevere ((Preferably forum PM)), and will be immigrated to the capital city of Abresi (free of charge).

For all those who reside within a county, or estate of Salvus; You are to speak to your respective Count, or Lord about the possibility of immigration. Should your Lord or Count choose not to speak to Lord Aron, you will not be granted a house within Abresi. 

 

The following Lord's, Lady's, and Count's and their land are listed below, and are urgently requested to contact Lord Aron Bedevere

 

- Lord Arinition Aramore

- Lady Dawn Ashby - Ashby Estate

- Count Talon Valkrae - County of Sherwood

- Count Aron Bedevere- County of Kingshire

 

 

Should the aforementioned lords choose not to contact Lord Aron Bedevere, they will be forfeiting all protection of their lands, and occupants. Refusal to evacuate will be met with fines, force, and potential stripping of land. 

 

To merchants, and shop owners of Kingston; for the time being, you will not receive reimbursement of your stall/shop in the capital, nor will you receive a refund. Should the city ever return to its native state you will be notified, and your stall/shop will be returned to you. 

 

The evacuation of Salvus shall begin at once, with hopes of completion within the next four elven days. Until then we ask all citizens, provided they are prepared, to move to Abresi at once. On the fourth elven day citizens will be escorted from the city, at which point Kingston will become a Salvian Stronghold. Until then, all foreigners are asked to leave at once. As of now, a partial lockdown is in effect. Any visitors with no immediate business in Salvus will be escorted from the city." - Count Aron Bedevere

Mayirr pulls down the edict from where it is attached to her shop door. She walks inside, and sits down next to the counter, lighting a candle to better read the parchment.

 

Upon reading the edict, she walks outside and waves over a courier boy, giving him a handful of minas and asking him to relay a message to the Count.

 

"Should I stay behind to supply the soldiers with arms and armour, or should I evacuate with the rest of the civilians? I fought on your side in the Dreadfort wars, if that is proof of my allegience." she tells him, before returning to her business in the town, noting the steady stream of refugees leaving the city, their possessions in hand and cart.

Kaila looks down at her young son. Her eyes showing sadness. She will not risk her son. As much as she wishes to stay with her husband as the Salvian healer, her son's health comes first. She begins writing to her husband and her family.

"We will be making a force of soldiers separate of the shields to aid the city in its evacuation. Many hands will be needed to keep the city in lock down and move civilians.  I will contact you with more info within the next elven day"
