Baconthief 682 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Khel smirks at the news of the exodus. He speaks to his Orenian companion who shared the news with him "Wonderful, now justice will finally meet the run away elves who also sailed away decades ago. May the hammer of fate purify the taint of Koylat and his false elves"

Kardel 1054 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Kardel knew all along, that one day Oren would use the scourge beyond the wall against them, after all, why shouldn't they? They commanded it, the greatest stronghold in the realm, the wall that held back the scourge that would end both dwarves and men, elves and kha, orc, halflings, and all of the free people of anthos. "Deir scourge will nae mayke me bend. Da undead did nae, dis mere force will nae eidder" Kardel looks at the stacks of wood hidden inside the endless caves beneath the alchemist's guild, and frowns "Toime ta get ta werk, ships an' walls nae build demselves." Bircalin 332 Share Posted July 8, 2013 The musky aroma of mountain herbs being burned to a crisp seeped through the elder wood walls around Bircalin, the Evarir of the Lumidrim. In his late, comfortable clothing exempt from the restrictions of his armour, he sat with pipe in-hand and his feet propped up against the rim of the table ahead of him, using the soles of his shoes to gently usher his chair back and forth. Small ringlets of wispy smoke trailed from between his lips as he rocked to and fro, the welcoming scent of pipeweed easing his conscience as the news had carried itself to him earlier. War maps littered the table before him, though his focus was upon the ceiling; watching as time trudged by at a sluggish pace. A light frown furrowed itself into Bircalin's brow as his mind was racked with the thought of what he deemed total cowardice by the people who deemed themselves 'sons of dragons.' It seem surreal, for them all to leave. However suspicion would only get him so far so late at night. For now, he must wait for the eye of the storm to pass. Aetosion 2062 Share Posted July 8, 2013 As Edward Winter II stood on the Cintran mountains in Kaedrin, looking out over the forests of Malinor to the North, a chilling breeze cut into his skin. He shivered, not from the cold itself, but from something else.
Altiak 1648 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Jason Clamedeus stands rigidly on the deck of King Peter's ship, gazing at the land looming away from him. A smile flickers on the features of his face, as he recalls distant memories. The endevaours he had with the Rose ran through his head, and it saddened him to depart from his home. For, this was the place where he met his beloved, gave his vows, and spent the happiest moments of his life. But, a grin soon became present on the veteran knight's face, because he was not alone. As he glanced behind him, all of the men he adressed as brothers stood there, tall and proud. They chuckle as they wave at the land, that draws away from them, ever so slowly. And when Jason shifts his gaze to the left, his wife, Adrienne, offered him a smile, leaning on his shoulder. And in her arms, she held a baby, that possessed the looks of his father, and the eyes of his mother. A small, barely apparent tears rolls down Jason's cheek, something that was never witnessed, by neither friends, nor family. He heaves his shoulders up, pecking his wife's cheek gently, and lowering his head to plant a kiss on his son's forehead. Jason's life was complete, he had dutifully served the Rose with everything he had in him, enduring all pain and striking down all those who opposed the undeafeated order. Now, he departed with the Empire he loved so dearly, alongside his family, and friends. The undyingly obedient soldier, the man from Hanseti, the Knight of Courage, the warrior who possessed the strongest of will, had now left Anthos, with a triumphant attitude. Ventraux- King of the Rose 60 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Troen Venta stands aboard King Peter's ship with his head held high, the knowledge that the white rose is alongside him bringing him comfort in theses troubled times. Ventraux runs along the deck of the ship, confirming that everything is in order. He leans against the railing, watching as the men go about their business, he mumbles to himself, "800 years of this life... I've seen too many ships, too many worlds. First Aegis then the next... now where do we go? What distant shores do we head to hoping for some new fate? Nothing changes, one world to the next... all remains the same."
