Requirements of all Nobility

 

A family name, any changes in the noble houses name must be cleared and approved through the Lord High Chancellor, or King.

 

A family crest, any changes in the family crest must be approved through the Lord high Chancellor, or King.

 

All nobility must keep an active list of alive members.

 

All nobility must inform the crown of any other members they bring into nobility, example is a Duke gives someone the title Count.

 

An truthful history of the family must be documented in case the Privvy council should ever need to use such information.

 

How to become a Noble

 

There is many waays to become noble in the lands of Oren.  The easiest way to do so is prove yourself useful to a higher lord or to the crown itself.  The Crown rewards those who have a high value to it.  Be smart with your choices, and most of all be patient, extremely patient.  And you can find yourself in a noble position as a reward for your hard work.

Since it seems no one is actually part of said house anymore, am I allowed to use the name? 

It would make sense in my roleplay is all and since some people have already confused me with them already.
