Bardel and Jack run through the Bushes and hedgerows of Adunia. Running for their lives. The Flay started their Journey excellently with attempting to slaughter them both. If it wasn't for the Adunians they would both be in pieces, their bodies ransacked. In escaping Bardel had already used one of his three bottles of Alchemical Fire. Expensive stuff. He needed to save the other two for the obsticles up ahead. They would be traveling to the Cold yet beautiful lands of the north. Bardel had been there once before but it was years ago now. Bardel and Jack think about the beautiful sights they will see in the winter wastes. What amazing Alchemical regeants they could find. That is why they were going; to collect Corrupted regeants for Alchemical experimentation. Jack told Bardel of how beautiful and natural the north felt, how Baron yet full of life it was. Much different to the Southern Wastes. Bardel and Jack continued to stumble through the Wilderness, then they forded the River and set foot upon the hill towards the bridge which would allow them access to the beautiful winterlands. But something wasn't right. A pungent odur filled the air and smoke bellowed into the sky.

They stumbled up the hill and looked across the plain. A sight that Bardel was deeply angerd by. Flames scoured the once rich green land. Great tendrils touched the sky and strange red Orbs buzzed atop of Dark platforms. Bardel looked about at the Tiented land.

"I never thought it was this bad... I thought we were winning."

They step through the scorched plains looking at all the fire and destruction.

"Weh- weh cannae let 'em duh dis tuh the rest uf Anthos... Maybeh Uren.. but nut Anthos"

Looking across the Fire Bardel and Jack notice the crowd of people who have formed outside the gates. Adventurers, Soldiers, Heros and other Alchemists stand terrified staring at the Hellish Bridge and Fortress ahead of them.

They have little time fore formalities before a Human Guard runs over to them

"Stop! Stop! Yer must not cross the bridge. You can't get into the north anymore. They have stopped it all. Turn back now before it is too late!",

At that very moment a great screech comes from inside the Dark Fortress, a human Screech. An object shortly follows; flying out of the Black gates. It flew way up high into the red, thunderous skies before coming down and impacting into the ground between the crowd with a crunch. Bardel gasps and the Guard screems already horrified. Tension rises and the air becomes hotter making Bardel's white hair matt and stick to his White skin.

The Guard quickly bolts it screeming in a horrified tone

"They're coming! Run to live! They Consume all!"

The band of unsuspecting Adventurers just stood there. The wrong decision. They might aswell stepped into the Lava pools beside them. It would have been a quicker, Less painful death.

Bardel's head follows the fleeing Guard until it meets a young and Beautiful girl dressed in red with flowing blonde hair. He staired at her for a second. Her beauty standing out from the Evil that surrounded her. She was only young. A Teenager. He looked to her left and there stood a disgusting Mutated and deformed beast. It lumbered towards her, bits of its rotting flesh dropped off of its body. Slowly it moved one of its deformed arms back, it was in the shape of a large spike. Bardel screamed

"Nuh! Run!"

Then sprinted through the flames before stopping. The Beast instantly Jerked its arm forward raising the Beautiful girl up in the air as its Spike bone arm impailed her. She let out a gasp as her life was taken from her. Bardel also gasped, he felt the pain. A spike of shock and anger impailed him. He skidded on his feet before turning and running back to the group but stopped again. To his horror two more of the Beasts had crossed the Bridge and where staring at the Group he had called. One appeared to had once been female. The other Male; who's arm appeared to had formed into a Bone hammer. The Female appeared familiar to Bardel... then he realised

"Torrah?"

The Beast before him groned, it was indeed Torrah. The young adult Bardel had watched grow up from a baby was now standing before him; with a twisted and evil grin across her face. She chuckled, the innocent chuckle of the Young girl he once knew was there but now it was deformed, rotten and Hellish as was her appearance.

The two Beasts stepped down from the Bridge and met the Crowd one exclaimed

"Oot!"

The horrified Bardel squeezed one of the Bottles of Alchemist's Fire in his pocket before replying

"W-we just seek to get some.. things."

Bardel was lost for words. The Evil beings infront of him said little but began to approach him slowly. Then Torrah charged, Bardel quickly dived out of the way and she turned to look at one of the other group members. The group was now scattered. Bardel looked where he formerly stood and saw that the Beast that killed the Teenager would have killed him if he hadn't moved. He let out a sigh of releaf which was shortly quelled by the grim sight of the person that was next to him, a hooded man in blue robes, recieving the same painful death that the Teen Girl had recieved. He watched as the Hooded mans limp body hit the floor. Bardel hid behind a the side of the bridge for a second and thought to himself silently.. 'What have I done?'

The next time he peered around the Bridge the Expedition Party had halved. The other half were now massacred on the floor. Bardel caught the sight of the Corrupted Torrah thrusting her great Claymore into the stomach of his closest companion. Jack Asul'mira. Jack was lucky to block the Claymore with his hands which saved him slightly, yet still it stabbed into Jack's stomach leaving a cut. Bardel jumped from his hiding place and rushed towards his Comrades attacker, past two other of the Party members begin brutally slaughtered by these Hellish Minions. Bardel roared as he raised his axe high to swing across and decapitate the young miss he watched grow up. A brutal thing that he would have mourned over for months later. He braught the Axe down which was quickly blocked by the Corrupt Torrah who span around with the Claymore and sliced his stomach making Bardel tumble side-ways and cry out in pain.

"Hurrr!"

Everybody there wanted it to stop. Except the Dark Enemies. The Slaughter was great for them. They appeared feed on the fear of the weak.

Bardel continued to roll after being sliced by the claymore. He tumbled down a nearby hill and onto an small flat area where he was stunned on impact.

The White Dwarf checked his wound. It wasn't deep. Little more than a scratch. Bardel ran back up the hill and back to the fight more fighters had joined and Jack was nowhere to be seen. Bardel hid once more behind the bridge until a crash came from the around the corner. He peered round. A huge spider about 9 meters three meters long, three meters wide and two meters tall It was struggling in fighting a man off of its back. The gigantic Corrupt spider rushed to the cliffs edge as the Man atop it stabbed his sword into its head making it screech before kicking him off and making him crash into the waves of the river below. The spider began shaking at the cliffs edge. Bardel saw the opening.. maybe he could save what was left of the Expedition members. He charged full belt at the Spider and crashed into its leg. It did nothing. Bardel was too weak to push it off so instead he ran back and slid underneath it. The seemingly Valiant White Dwarf sliced at the Beasts digusting Blistered underbelly. The spider inturned squeeled and stabbed at the Dwarf with its Sharp legs. Bardel did all he could to dodge them but was stopped in his tracks when one stabbed into the shoulder of his left arm; his sword arm. The Spider kept his leg pinned in Bardel's shoulder keeping the Dwarf clamped to the ground. The Sharp end of the Spiders leg came out the other side of Bardel's shoulder. Bardel weezed in pain. He felt it was the end.

The Spider dragged the weak, battle tired Dwarf up past its wounded neck, Bardel saw an oportunity and weakly threw his axe to stab into the wound. The axe Barely even reaches the spiders neck before gravity drags it back down to earth. Bardel is defenceless. Suddenly in his mind he hears a voice. It echoes in him and instills fear. It is the voice of nightmares

"You have tresspassed into his land. You will pay the blood price in full"

The voice stuck in his mind as he prepares himself whilst the spider drags his worn body towards its mouth. Bardel closes his eyes and thinks. His hand slowly slips to a pocket in his robes containing his last bottle of Alchemical Fire. Bardel grasped the bottle of Beautiful destruction, holding it firmly but keeping it out of sight. The Huge spider pulled Bardel to its mouth and opened wide. Bardel opened his eyes and shoved the Bottle of fiery death into its mouth. The spider made and earpiercing sound as flames erupted from its mouth and sprayed over Bardel, scorching his robes and pale white skin. The spider grasps him with its mouth as it tumbles off the cliff taking Bardel with it. Bardel could do little. He was too weak, too hurt. The spider eventually released him before crashing into the waves below. Joining the same fate as the Heroic man killing it from its back.

Bardel struggled at the edge of the cliff, holding on so that he doesn't fall into the waves. The White Alchemist pulls himself up and with the last strenght he has in his body pours the Antidote to the Alchemist's fire and its burns over his face. He sighs as his face cools.

Bardel simply laid on the Cliffs edge, watching the battle rage above him. He had done all he could. His body had no energy to help anymore. He looked forward as he heard the crunch of Rotting flesh step down infront of him. The Deformed Corrupted Torrah Campbell stood there Smirking at him with the Twisted Evil grin she had before. Bardel had nowhere to go now but to surrender himself to the River. Backed away from the Corrupted girl and listened to the screems of victory resounding from the Horde before kicking himself off and closing his eyes as he fell into the ruff currents bellow.

One of my best RP moments on the server guys. Thanks to everyone involved, it was really fun!

Out of breath, Vuln rests under a tree. He had just ran from Abresi. He heard there was a battle about to start. But he was too late! The battle had ended before he got there. He decided to travel to Adunia. To the town who's name he can never remember. Maybe Jon knows what had happened?

((I can't believe I missed this! I have been on all day, then I go to take a break and a battle occurs! Dang it!))

((Sorry StevenJ. I couldn't quite remember. I won't bother changing it right now so nevermind. I think having a bone hammer sounds pretty awesome anyways and regardless you all did an amazing job at RPing the Antag minions

Bucky you did miss out on some good RP but it wasn't really a battle in my perspective more of a skirmish. Or in Civ 5 terms a Major defeat. There should be a lot more of this going on during the summer.))

Whilst fishing for food along the river flowing out of the north after the battle, Dorri Doomforge spots a white splotch among the rushing black waters. Casting his net in its direction, he manages to trap it and pulls the object towards himself, wondering what sort of fleshy delight he might have caught: possibly a tasty salmon. As the object draws nearer, Dorri manages to make out a beard, and sighs: another dwarf. Dwarves are kin, you cant eat kin, and Dorri felt obliged to bury dwarven dead, to return them to the earth of which metals they were forged from. As Dorri retrieves the body from the water, he sees the dwarf twitch. Dorri backs off, slightly confused, but relieved as well. With a grunt, he pushes on the dwarf's chest and manages to revive him. The white dwarf coughs out the water, and wakes up, looking confused and dazed.

At first, the dwarf seemed ready to lunge at Dorri, mistaking himfor a corrupted, but later, he recognized the dark, ash-grey skin and orange eyes, and found that he had encountered the next worst thing: a doomforge. Dorri did not smile to see him; Dorri never smiles. His orange eyes stayed fixed upon Bardel's own eyes for a while, and he got up, picked Bardel up with him, and led him to the tent. Bardel murmured something in his fever, but Dorri simply grunted "Dun speak, fever flares, rest." After wrapping him up in furs, and feeding him some salmon broth, Dorri walked out of the tent "Dis be mah oun slice o' 'eaven. Ah leave on da morrou. Yer fever ainnea bad. Ye can keep da furs an' supplies, ah wun need dem. Ah'm off ta fish, dun luuk fer meh iv ah dun come back." Bardel blinked once, staring at Dorri. Finally, the dwarf managed a "D-dank. . .ye." Dorri grunted, and wobbled out of he tent.
