Walking towards the peaceful community of Lenfarthing, you cannot help but feel a shiver run down your spine. Eyes widen suddenly as a terrible sight appears in front of you, swinging back and forth in the night air as it casts shadows upon the ground below.

For hanging from the windmill, overlooking the vast fields of wheat, is the first of many bodies to come; Knox, Pumpkin God of the Halflings. His body has been stripped bare, and in his torso, a dark sigil is carved, though the marking is unrecognizable.

Fumble sits hiding in the wheat fields, playing a game of hide and seek when he sees Gronkk licking the body.

His mouth drops and he lets out a yelp, "By da Pum'pin lor' -" Fumble Willowbottom covers his mouth and sprints home, as fast as his little halfling legs can take him, his wrench dragging behind, leaving marks in the fields.

Bango Blackfoot draws the hood of his traveling cloak over his head to protect him from the wind. He lights up a smoke, taking his time as he eyeballs the gruesome sight. A thin stream of smoke trails from his nostrils as he looks off towards the wilderness.

"Hard times a'comin'...kin feel it in me knucklebones..."

He scribbles down the symbol into a small notepad and tucks it back into his belt.

"Looks like a watchin' eye. Best cut it down 'n' burn 'n' bury it afore it see's somethin'. Th' ash 'n' bone will do th' wheat some good."
