Battle Account: King's Justice

[Kardel 1054]

The flames of the dark master exploding from the insides of the giant worm illuminated the black steel of the King's Justice, making it seem almost alive as ripples of red danced across it giving the King's Justice a dreadful look, almost as dreadful as the corrupted themselves. The armored behemoth turned his head to the king, surrounded by Drakna Akvel, and asked in a ominous, deep, rasp voice "Shall we march?"

 

 

The king did not hesitate to let out a proud "Aye!" as the Justice raised a black warhorn to his lips, blowing into it, as a shrill, high pitched sound rang through the ambient, the other Drakna Akvel seemingly coming to life. At first, the march was a slow one, the metal of their black armor clinking and clanking fiercly, but then it got faster, and faster, until it sank into a charge.

 

The Justice himself lead the charge, his monstrous waraxe on his shoulder, making no sound but the sound of his armor rattling. In a matter of a few seconds, the first corrupted had fallen, bursting as they hit the ground like over-ripe fruits falling from a tree. The Justice swung his axe like he would do at the chopping block, hewing a few necks off. A glorious moment it was, seeing the corrupted fleeing from the war hardened heroes of anthos. . .but such a moment only lasted for so long.

 

As the forces of anthos crossed the bridge to the north, the Justice followed, his axe at hand, but what he met on the other side was nothing but death. An arrow, loosened by accident, or purpose, bit through the ringmail binding his helm to his breastplate, as the black armored behemoth fell to his knees, his Achilles's heel found, scarlet blood gushing out of his neck a waterfall of gore. 

 

The last thoughts that rang through that mind of his were "Protect the King", and then the world went black.

 

((I have decided to quit playing the King's Justice, and leave to to the Drakna Akvel to choose their own justice, as I am not terribly active with him, this being only a temporary position until someone else was found.))
