DelaneyG 1279 Share Posted August 5, 2013 The following notes are found in Geminine Manor: Music *Before you lays a piece of parchment, with tear stains on it.*Dear beloved family,I'm sorry that I've left. I just had no where else to go. I swore an oath to the Rose, and to the Emperor. I didn't leave with them on the big boat, and that was a mistake. I've taken the Ebony Glider, the old White Rose vessel. I'm sailing to find the big boat and join them.- Arthal Lowedge*Beside this note, is a dead, decaying bird with another note.*Dear Turri and Jess,I'm a fool. I couldn't find the boat, and my ship is stuck on the old White Rose research island. I don't know when or if this message will get to you... But it help me knowing I just wrote it. .I love you both...-Arthal Lowedge Arthal sighs. It's been two weeks since he sent the letters to his family. He looks at the horizon from the White Rose research island. He solemnly looks to the wreckage of the boat he had been sailing, the Ebony Glider. "Plough..." He looks back down, to what he was doing. With a trembling hand, he writes a final letter, and uses the last of his two messenger pidgins to send it off, on a journey it will probably not survive. "Already been a week with no food... hm." Arthal shakes as he watches the bird fly away. He is truly alone now. He moves down into the depths of the island, grabbing the remnants of the White Rose. His longsword. He holds his longsword in hand as he makes his way down to the beach, where he leans against a tree, muttering a prayer. "Dear Creator... Dear Lord, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't go with Emperor Horen V on the boat... I had to stay with Prince Chivay in his final days. Oh Dear Lord I'm sorry, but I know I deserve this. I deserve it for all those I've slain. Just do me a favor... Let that bird get where it's going..." With that, Arthal closes his eyes, his sword held across his body, where he took his final slumber. Thus ends Arthal Lowedge. ((I figured with the White Rose all left and gone, Arthal really had nothing to live for. He's shipwrecked and died. If you find the old White Rose research center, I'd appreciate if you'd rp seeing a dead corpse /skeleton wearing the White Rose uniform, with a small id card in the pocket with Arthal Lowedge on it. Not perma'd, just last death before I was banned. He may come back. ))

spqrSancus 175 Share Posted August 5, 2013 (( :( NO ARTHAL!!! )) Jess walks alone, head hanging down, in Abresi. Months have passed since her mother had died and father left... She actually hasn't yet been to the Geminine manor, albeit she visited Gemglade on occassion. She fingers her rosary, the one her father had left her. She takes it in one hand, praying that her parents were together in heaven. Then she knew what she had to do. Jess ran, her cloak billowing behind her.

Norman 492 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Ser Samuel Geminine stood in a bright green plain, dotted with cherry trees. He emitted a shining, ethereal aura around him, and he seemed larger than life, god-like. A calming wind blew on the field, causing the man's torn White Rose tabard to flutter softly. Behind Samuel, stood a pristine, welcoming longhouse, it's tower scratching the deep blue sky. The building was made of the finest, chiseled white stone, and it's roofs were tipped with shining gold bricks. Even from where Geminine was, he heard the sounds of merriment, drinking, and laughing coming from within. Samuel looked out to the ocean on the opposite side to the longhouse, as the wind blew blossoms from the trees to circle him. He brought up a gauntlet-clad hand over his temple, to survey the endless ocean, shimmering with the Sun's reflection. As the Rose watched the seas, a small boat came into view - with a pitch-black sail, it broke the water easily. Samuel lowered his hand, the wind picking up steadily as the trees creaked around him. Taking a few steps forward, the bright grass glowing under him, Samuel saw a single figure, manning the boat as it approached the island's cliff face, running aground into the sand smoothly. More figures joined the Knight, walking curiously up on either of his flanks, some young, some old. All of the men shared one thing in common - their crimson Rose tabards, standing proudly on their broad chests. Memories filled Samuel's head; those of honor, courage, self-sacrifice, heroism, friendship, brotherhood, and camaraderie. A man seemed to be the center of these thoughts, a friendly face that Samuel remembered vaguely. He was the best friend that the man had ever had, and the two had one another's backs for over three decades. Rough, and gritty, the man had eventually won over the evil inside him near the end - repented, for his own wrong-doings in life, like the men on the hillside standing here. He had found peace. As the man jumped down onto the beaches, from the boat below, Samuel was the first to speak, a smile slowly breaking across his face. His brother Arthal had arrived. DelaneyG 1279 Author Share Posted August 5, 2013 Arthal jumps off the boat, not caring to tie it up. It sails with no guide up onto shore as Arthal tucks in, rolling into the sand. He stands and approaches Sam, "Hey Sam. Can you believe it? The Creator let an ******* like me in. Sodomy may be a sin, but kicking the **** out of those who oppose you isn't, eh? Where the f*** can I get some ale, eh? Come on, I'll get you one as well!"Arthal begins walking up the beach, hoping Sam follows. He finds a little tiki hut bar up in heaven, where he sees Thomas Chivay, the man he stayed behind to stay with. "Hm. Big guy let us both in, sir. That's how you know he loves us." Arthal laughs, and drinks his first drink since death... Some of Goldman's finest ale. Arthal had made it to heaven with his brother Sam.
