I agree with you, but Nano also has a point. Many people enjoy being able to get into a brawl without one of the participants /having/ to die. It was a good plugin for RP and it alleviated some of the anger of dying. People fear death just fine already. Now, with the knockout plugin removed and a 5-minute wait being added, it's become overkill.

I see where you're coming from, and I believe Arik had a great idea (if it's possible), where dying from a mob, fist, or wooden sword simply knocks you out, while stone+ will actually kill you. With a few tweaks that could be a great compromise that would make both sides happy.

I saw that too and I could agree with a compromise like that. It's nice to be able to lay down when you die during a battle and watch the rest of it carry on around you from there on the ground, though.

I'll be first to admit that I actually am not 100% sure on how the knockout plugin works (just came back to the server), but perhaps after being killed, you're able to sit there for 1-2 minutes to watch before being sent to the crypt? I'm really not sure if that'd even be possible, or how people would feel about it. (Of course, those 1-2 minutes are just OOC, so you can watch the RP be wrapped up.)

If you die, you end up in a crypt for a small five minutes. Simple as that. Don't see what the big deal is. In Aegis it worked perfectly fine, will still work perfectly fine now.

Be careful, watch your backs! Be afraid for the loss of your items, people... But when you die, you can rest in the cozy crypt.

We're building back to Aegis, and I like it.

Im going to to hide in a corner and cry atlest i will be safe.

Now we can get killed when people are being idiots that dont read this

Now we have to sit and wait 5 mins every time we die even if it was a stupid way

and we get nasty surprises from leaves

i dont like this patch at all.

Guys I think Telanir disabling the knockout plugin, "making way for nexus", means that nexus is coming soon.

I am happy. Stop whining and refer to the GIF in my signature.

You're happy for one of two reasons:

You legitimately think that there will be no pugsying, and have an unnatural amount of optimism for something that massively effects people's items, and willingness to go on the server.

You have no idea what you think, and aren't even sure what the hell the "Knockout plugin" is.

I'm hoping it's the second one, because ignorance of it is better than thinking very illogically. But you're entitled to your opinion regardless..

Knockout back plz (what if you die by non-RP accidents?)

Or since most of the Staff are wizards.....Make a plugin that allows players to choose?

I agree with an earlier Post by Fengric on pg9
