A Pale's Return

[Proddy 2415]

Night has fallen upon the lands of Anthos, and the moon gleams brightly. Rain falls heavily, and the wind rolls wildly as the creatures of the night begin to emerge from their slumber, devouring the lives of those unfortunate enough to fall prey to these terrible, hideous creatures.

 

A white haired, red eyed Human male who looked about sixteen scurried through the forests of the Wildlands. A exhausted, fear-struck look on his face as he ran, his hair and ragged attire soaked with rain water.

 

"Ye can't run fureveh, boy!"

 

The voices echoed from behind him as he continue to ran, a small, blood tainted serrated dagger in his hand. His pursuers still gave chase, their weapons raised up high, their armour clattering with every step.

 

The boy eventually stopped after what seemed like an eternity, grasping his knees as he hunched over. Rasping for air, he looked over his shoulder.

 

They're gone.. at last... I'm-

 

His thoughts were cut short as one of the men jumped out the bushes, his bastard sword raised in the air as his leather armour waved in the wind.

 

"I'll feckin' kill ye, ye lil' shite!"

 

But before he could strike, the boy straightened himself, quickly throwing the dagger towards his attacker. The dagger penetrated the mans throat, as he coughed for air, blood sputtering from his windpipe. He fell to the ground, grasping his throat before eventually succumbing to his injury...

 

 

The sun rised as the inhabitants of Anthos awaken once more. Citizens of Oren, Savoie, Salvus, Urguan, Malinor and Krugmar alike head out to do their daily business.

 

The pale boy smiled as he sat on the bank, staring up at the sky as he spun the dagger around in his hand, the blood of his last victim still visible on the small blades hilt. He was free. Free at last. Free to pursue his own goals, his own destiny. Perhaps his father was still alive? Who knew...

 

Tor the Pale, son of Corvo the Pale, has returned at last.

 

(( Basically, this post marks the return of Tor, one of my other characters who I've been inactive on for quite a while now. Since I'm unsure of how much time has passed since I last played him, I'll rebegin playing him at the age of 16. I should be on the server RPing him once I can get hold of a suitable skin and get some VAs accepted for him ))
