You have travelled to come here, the Abresian Royal palace, wishing to seek the King's knowledge and wisdom on the matter you hold. When you finally reach the imposing front, and the steps into the palace, you are blocked by two armed Knights and a scribe.

The scribe will write down your name and purpose of visit as you walk past the guards, having given your reasons and name to them also.

You tilt your head slightly to the right, and observe the King in his splendor, sitting atop the throne of Renatus as he listens to a man speaking about alliances and strengthening the Kingdom. You look around, and see a modest queue trickling down one side of the castle, and you join the end of it. You gaze around and notice Knights, Nobles, and Ladies sitting up in the stands, listening to the King's  wise words.

When finally, you reach the front of the queue...

((OOC Spoiler: Guidelines on Posting in the Throne Room))

((Time for a little bit of OOC! Can't seem to find the King in-game? Want to tell him something important? Roleplay it out on the forums! It doesn't matter if you are the Noblest Noble or the lowest commoner, this thread is for everyone to discuss and inform the King and Privy Council of issues, or give praise to something the Kingdom of Oren is doing. There is however, a procedure! I would also like to take the time to point to the

old Oren Throne room thread here, and ask that this thread be treated with the same RP finesse, and as such, procedure. Other than that, Happy Roleplaying!))

((My thanks to Aetosion for making this updated throne room thread. All credits to him.))

Rose exits the Privy Council Chambers, a small group of people following her. They are all Renatian nobility, nearly all of them Privy Council members or former Privy Council members. They make their way to the King's throne, each bowing and giving a short, formal greeting.

As it seems each member has given a greeting, Rose Valois steps forth from among them, a carefully rolled up document in hand. She bears a sincere smile on her face as she states:

"Your Highness, I know we have had our differences in the past, and I hope you will look past them as I have and intend to continue doing. I believe that you are less than fond of our current status of Renatus, Oren and the human kingdoms altogether. As such, I believe we have found a solution."

She carefully unfurls the document, stepping forward to hand it to him.

Alexander
stands atop the mountain behind the Lion keep, looking out below the
city he once loved with such a burning passion. Looking about, he saw
nobody.

The city was no longer cheerful and happy as it once was, it was
haunted by the bastard Tuv and his band of misfits.

"I have toadmit..." he mumbled to Eze'kiel II, his squire, "I only expected such
from Silus... to... to allow -THIS-"
he slowly trudged down the mountain, his tabbard dancing about in the slight breeze to the road below the lion keep,
making his way, with Eze'kiel to the King's Palace, staring forward at
Silus atop the throne.

"Your Majesty" his voice booms throughout the court, staring up at Silus.

"I am here by request of the edict requesting knights come and see you personally to retain the position as a knight."

He gestures to Eze'kiel, "This is my squire, he was to be knighted an elven week ago. If possible, I'd like him to be knighted by yourself or myself if given your permission."

Alexander slowly rolls his hand around, tapping the side of his sword, "And I am a Knight Lieutenant, your majesty."

Alexander takes heavy breaths as he stares forward at Silus, masking his rage. "I will await your decision." he states blankly as he stand there, waiting.
