mmat 7460 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Hey everyone, I thought I'd dispel a little bit of the mystery and opaqueness of the antagonist when it comes to opening up the north officially, as there is no real need to keep it a secret. We are waiting for several things in order to open the north, which we aim to release simultaneously to make it the best experience possible for the playerbase when they are able to enter the north and RP there effectively. Number one is the additional builds. After the antagonist reform we have had to construct some extra builds in the north in order to accommodate the reformed style of the antagonist, I am glad to reveal that this step is complete thanks to the fantastic efforts of our builders Zarsies, BrandNewKitten and Fact Core, and of course anybody else who helped out in the construction process. Number two is the official lore document for the reformed antagonist which has been vastly altered from the original due to the necessary changes that were made. Viper has been working very hard so that we have adequate lore to work with when we begin performing large scale events in the coming weeks and months. We have purposely held off on any large scale activity so that we do not stray into territory that we really shouldn't. Again, I'm glad to say that, thanks for Viper's hard work on the new lore, this step is nearly complete. Third and finally is another plugin which we are using to make the north a more dangerous and hopefully a more interesting and dynamic place for players to venture into after the release. A big thanks to Snowshovel for doing this plugin for us. Unfortunately, while the plugin was close to being finished, there was an unexpected curveball which means that the plugin will take a little bit longer. However I'm sure that it will be re-coded in quick time! When all these steps are complete, the north will be released, this will be quite soon. Messenger of the Darkness 21 Share Posted September 4, 2013 The dungeon antagonists OOCly welcome the Corrupted Antag players join RP as bad guys in our dungeons. The dungeons have gotten more popular and we cant RP our "real" characters enough since we are always RPing as monsters and baddies.
