Tahjeet Mubdee speaks once again,

"You 'ave my word. I will not let any o' my superiors betray ya'. I put my life on that."

Dvari chuckles, knowing that's an empty promise and life means nothing, since the monks always seem to succeed.

Tahjeet Mubdee is totally capable of killing the entire Salvian Council if they do turn on him and the Salvian Council understands this.

A final message is written, adressed to the Salvian leadership.

"It is the final decision of the Talaran and the Arcane Delvers to remain neutral in this conflict. Given the nature of your current leadership we fully expect rumours and/or animosity between you and us. Keep in mind we don't plan on being the source of that.

If you must know the reason, personal problems in the Regency."

I do hope Salvus can remain civil about this. Good luck in your coming war.

The letter is delivered to Zandros at headquarters. Sighing, he sets it down on his desk.

"And things were going so well... We'll have to make do without them, I suppose, but if Artimec is concerned about hostility between us, this is the wrong way to respond to it."
