A Suggestion.

A poster is pinned on the main notice board of Lin'everal. It reads:

Recently there was an event that presented one of the greatest dangers to our purity and health: Magic. We have become so reliant on this that other forces have come to toy with us. An individual known as Seth Calith seemed to be under the control of a highly impure shadow being in return for some sort of unknown power. This will be investigated further, but until then I have a very logical suggestion. All Mali'aheral must strictly monitor their use of magic and the magic of other citizens.

It seems that many of us have grown to lust for more power with the wide-spread use of magic. This will not benefit us and only bring more problems. Magic is only for the pure, and must be monitored heavily.

Silvos scoffs. His hands ringing in their sockets, he walks away angrily whikst exclaiming at whoever's reading the poster.

"First they call themselves the Golden Owl Talonii, now they claim they want to remove our strongest art of defence! This is an outrage!

The Sythaerin family says No to this rediculous cursed owl-movement."

With soft footsteps, Kaelthes approaches the suggestion, reading slowly as he brushes his coat off. Blinking slowly, he steps away, somewhat suprised. He quickly scribbles something down, subconsciously wishing he was skilled enough to write with his telekinetics.

"This one says no."

Navus'Lorundil Vincere plants his hand on his face, covering the almost teary eyes. He had so much stupidity today, but this? This crossed his border. With a quill he decided to write a letter, but declined his own attempt.

Shaking his head, trying to understand the silly Athri, he mutters in himself as he returns the quill to his desk.

"Why do I even wonder?"

After some days after the first poster a neatly wrote note is hung just right under it, the ink seems to be of a golden colour.

"Athri has been slightly missinformed of what happened. This creature, a shadow of some sort, will attempt to tempt you to drink a potion which it summons out of thin air. Drinking it will result in it enters your body, letting you watch as it controlls the body, it's thoughts is mixed with your own. I know wether or not this being's part of the trade (powers or the lives of others) is true yet so far I have not risked to find out. While this being still roams Anthos, I highly suggest that those which follows the path of the arcane will keep it a secret, test each other with elven before you can know it is truely the person you speak with. And those which follows the same path as Athri is suggested to be prepared to respond to a possesed mali.

-Seth Calith"

Ellir has written a response of her own in her typical thin calligraphy. The frivolous swivel on each of her capital letters and the playful star she uses to dot her i's are indicative of her not taking the topic too seriously.

"While I highly profess the basic fact that everything is possbile, I would cast off your demon story as the result of a buoyant imagination after too much pumpkin wine. Pumpkin wine is the true Demon here The effects it has on the balanced mind are ghastly, and it has a taste so paltry only mr. Sullas has the experience and expertise to properly ridicule it.

So while I commend the Elibar'acal for twisting a fisherman's tale as a political centerpeice, I would invite him to structure his arguments on logic alone. We must consider the sheer power a single Magus wields in the city, which combined with any sort of political office summates to a tyranny rivaling of Valah empires. Magic is cumbersome, volatile and highly dangerous, and I shudder to think of the possibility of it being used to strengthen argument rather than healthy debate.

So I would support this motion, but publicly denounce the proposing party's questionable fashion choice. I will stand myself behind their ideal, not the cocksure strut of them coated in altogether too much 'bling'

*Another note is pinned.*

Valid arguments have been presented and I have spoken to Mister Calith. He is pardoned for his bravery, and up-taking the dark force for our own safety. Despite all of this I still suggest we monitor all magic, as it is highly dangerous especially if the shadow minion can use it. Until the shadow problem is solved we must take great precautions including elven language tests, purity tests, magic monitoring, etc.

On another note, Miss Dasyra has refused to be interviewed on the subject despite her being the first one to be possessed [Acoording to sources]. This may be a potential threat, so it will be investigated further.
