I am far from the wealthiest man on Anthos, and with the wild scramble for magic these days I suspect the tome will soar out of my price range. However, if you are willing, I would very much like to speak with you to discuss aeromancy, perhaps we could help each other in some way? Send me a bird should you be willing to discuss (which I very much hope you are)

Hmm, we will have to see about this. Like I have said with Blake Whitewolf, I am not entirely interested in discussing such topics with those that are deemed impure. You will have to send me a bird where we will discuss if this is a special occasion, but likely not. Keep in mind this is not to offend you, but I simply wish to follow maehr'sae hiylun'ehya.

Edit: ((I'd also like to point out that you would have no way of knowing that one of the bids was a bluff. Unless the person who made the bid told you, which you do not hint at, it was not discussed ICly, and thus, your character would not know about it.))
