The Trans-Anthosian Circle Line

Crowds gather around Government Tower in Gallmore. They whisper excitedly to themselves such things as, "Proconsul Scott hasn't called a public address in a LONG time!" and "What do you suppose the Government wants NOW?".

Proconsul Mandru Scott M.D, a Doctor-Cleric and one of the Proconsuls of Gallmore, steps on the balcony of the tower. A blue elf, Proconsul Varstivus, an elder alchemist, stands to his left. To his right stands Proconsul Gestahl VonSchlichten, a half-elvish, apprentice Fire Wizard. Proconsul Mandru begins to speak.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Today, a new chapter in Anthosian history begins!

As some of you know, the Gallmorian Government has been attempting to eliminate the problem of underpopulation throughout our world. Everywhere, you see cities and towns, GRAND ones at that, deserted. Why do you think this is...?"

The small crowd shrugs. Gallmore itself is not overly populated at the moment, and this question had been on the minds of all its remaining citizens.

"I shall tell you why this is: For some reason, since the beginning of Anthos, carts have never been rebuilt. Shipping lanes have been almost COMPLETELY ignored. Only recently have we began to utilize privatized horses for ground transportation. But now, Gallmore has a gift to the people of Anthos! One we have been working on for a LONG time...

I present to you: THE TRANS-ANTHOSIAN CIRCLE LINE! This line is meant to connect the nations of Urguan, Malinor, and Oren via Gallmore and the sea for the purposes of faster travel, better communication, and extended trade! Through a series of ferries, one can quickly travel between nations.

Off the coast of Gemglade, Retanus, is where one of our oldest routes go. To get there, head out of the Gates of Abresi and turn right. Then keep walking straight ahead. You will see a ship with red sails by the coast; this is the ferry between Retanus and Gallmore.

As for the Dwarven ferry, which has been loaned to the Line by the Dwarven Admiralty, it is a stone steamship that sits at the VaerHaven docks. Signs will direct which ship is the correct one.

Last but not least, our most recent addition to the Line, Malinor, now has a ferry! It can be found at the Elvish docks. However, High Princess Titania has asked that Orcs not be allowed to use this ferry, due to recent... events between The Krug Dominion and Malinor. Therefore, Orcs will be barred from access to this one ferry as per her request.

I hope that this provides for us a new era of communication and travel, perhaps bringing trade and popularity to Gallmore itself!

More to be said later, People of Gallmore and Anthos. Mandru Scott, over and out."

The two other Proconsuls and the small crowd cheer. For at long-last, Gallmore's birthright as a hub of transportation has been fulfilled.

((OOC:

Yes, Fast Travel now links Gallmore to the 3 corners of Anthos. Gallmore's Government will allow all to use the routes (save those requested to be forbidden to use particular routes by the nations linked to them) FOR PEACEFUL TRANSPORTATION.

If anyone from any side, or from any individual faction, is intent to use ANY of these routes for raids or any other actives as such, think twice. The captain and crew of the ferries would not allow you access to their ships, and would pull away from the docks if you approached the ships heavily armored. This is to promote RP across the server; I'd rather not throw this opportunity in the trash because overzealous raiding parties ruined it for us.

So everyone use common RP sense when traveling on these ferries, and enjoy!
