The Harbinger's Disappearance.

The Harbinger took in a deep breath as he glanced around what had become his home. Should I have talked to someone in person? he thought. No, he decided. The notes are enough. The others will find them.

He was ready to leave it all behind. To leave Anthos behind. Life for the past century and a half had always been an uphill struggle, and he was ready to get off the hill. He'd dressed himself in his original, familiar black leather, leaving his fine overcoat behind.

How odd, he mused. I should be terrified right now. But somehow, I'm not. I guess I accept that I need to leave, that I need to move on.

Van'ayla, Anthos.

He adjusted the strap of his pack, digging in to his shoulder. A single tear rolled down his cheek, and he glanced up, searching for any signs of a storm, in vain. It'd been decades since he'd allowed his emotions to flow unchecked.

He chuckled despite himself. The Harbinger, crying like a child-No. The Harbinger... is dead. Vul'Drax is alive once more.

Vul'Drax inhaled deeply, the cold sting of the night air filling his lungs, before he set off into the unknown.
