Former noble bloodline of de Stolistes and
the ancient Rosaen bloodline, House de Rosaen is lead by lord Christopher de
Rosaen. Having cut all political ties with the Hanseti long before, House de
Rosaen is utterly sworn to the divine Emperor. de Rosaens live through
prosperity and health, and learn to be ever evolving, generous and protecting
towards the world of Anthos and themselves. The house does what it believes
best for Anthos and themselves. Christopher, returned from a journey to find
his true indentity, aims to revive to its former glory.

Rosaenic Culture:

 

 

 

The Rosaenic culture came to existence among the people who

believed to be able to life perfect through art, creativity and education.  It didn’t had a real hold, nor a specific

area of foundation. The Rosaenic culture could be passively found among the

noble people, but the real fanatics who lives by the traditions and morals of

the culture can mostly be found  within

the population of the high elfs or the Rosaens themselves.  The exact age of the culture or the founders

can not be found, there are several theories explaining the most logical

possibilities.

 

Foundation theories:

 

According to the theory of de Rosaens themselves, the

culture came to existence by their ancestors before the Hanseti’s. The founders

would have founded their bloodline, and today the house follows the traditions

of the Rosaenic culture. The Rosaenic culture would be the product of an

perfect ideology of life, and the ones following this ideology would live the

perfect life.

 

 

 

The other most famous theory would be the Aheral theory.

According to this, the Rosaenic culture would merely be the copy of the way of

life of high elves in human form. The Rosaenic humans would have been jealous

on the perfect and superior life style of the Mali’Aherals, which resulted into

them attempting to live their lives mostly in their ways, but only adjusted to

be possible in human form.

 

 

 

A theory which is famous among the common farmers, is that

the Rosaenic people are ascended to aid them in their lives. The educated class

believes this is merely a rumour as the Rosaenic people share their wealth, and

become considered as saints afterwards.

The  former Rosaenic religion exists out of the 5 saints,  each representing an essential part of a

Rosaenic lifestyle. The 5 saints have their symbols, which are worshipped in a

different way. Each Rosaenic person would believe that through his own efforts

& dedication, they would reach their ambitions and goals. As the saints

would grant the people with a generous hand if they proven to be loyal and

pure. The saints all originate from the “Founding father” Staillic. He made all

his children to do one task of the cycle of life to let people remain pure and

perfect. Staillic punished Martyr in the First chapters as Martyr would have

betrayed the Saints, which resulted into Martyr being eternally brought to pain

for the better of the mortal people. This story is a commonly spoken among the

Rosaenic people to teach children not to be egoistic in life.

 

 

 

The First Saint, Rosalynne. Is the Saint of Birth &

life. Most worshippers are women who keep their virginity sacred, and consider

their childs as a gift from Rosalynne. One can worship Rosalynne by placing a

unwithered rose on her altar every elven week, showing her loyalty to Rosalynne

and provides proof that she considers her virginity or child sacred.

 

 

 

The Second Saint, Martyr. Is the Saint of Health &

Progress. Most worshippers are men from the workers class, who believe to be

spared from pain and a goalless life. Martyr would reduce every worshippers

pain through his Humain bonds, who redirect the pain of his worshippers to

himself. Martyr can be worshipped by sacrificing a lamb on his altar. Being

symbolic as Martyr sacrifices himself for his worshippers, and the lamb for the

Saint.

 

 

 

 

The Third Saint, Staillic. Is the Saint of Religion & loyalty.

Most worshippers are people in the military service or the Rosaenic church.

Staillic would aid his worshippers through his “Iron fists” to bring people on

their right path to live the Rosaenic life.  Staillic is worshipped through showing loyalty

to the Rosaenic religion. The worshipper would pray for Staillic to let the

person remain on the right path.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Fourth Saint, Solstice. Is the Saint of day &

night.  This Saint is worshipped by all

people who believe in the Rosaenic religion. Solstice would bring life and the

weather cycles to the World as the day and night. Solstice can be worshipped by respecting the

bed times and work times.

 

 

 

 

 

The Fifth Saint, Demotheus. Is the Saint of life &

death. This Saint is not worshipped, and his name may never be spoken as you

would become cursed with his powers of death. Demotheus also brings life to

plants, and is the Descendent of Solstice. He is worshipped through passing a

gold nugget to another person, as that would curse him or her with Demotheus

powers of death.

 

 

 

 

Rosaenic  Tradition

 

 

 

Weddings:

 

A Rosaenic wedding is a sacred event, were all the 5 saints

are worshipped at one time. The man must eat the leafs of a unwithered rose

before he shows the ring to the lady. The lady must wear the colour of the rose

in her dress. After the man has eaten the rose, he offers her a ring. The lady

may or may not accept it, if she accepts the terms of marriage and the sacred

rhyme would be sang by the Rosaenic priests. If she says no, the man would be

beaten by 42 Whip slashes to punish him for attempting to break the sacred

virginity of a lady without her wanting it.

 

The Sacred Rhyme goes as following:

 

 

“Bless the children, of the saints of life. Who bear the

pure blessing throughout the day and night. May the symbol of our women, and

the pride of our men, remain eternal as we all sang. We shall not fall, nor

shall we rise, as we are perfect in our lives. Bless Rosalynne for the furtile

descending of our kin, bless Martyr for our painless lives. Bless Staillic for

our pure acts, and Solstice for the sun and our night. May we all live until

the unspoken grabs our lives, as we lived our years as more than a sacrifice.”

 

Rosaenic doomchart:

 

The Rosaenic believe that they are warned from the doom of

their land, their sacred Stone shows circles who ends at the point of

destruction. Each time a circle ends, a new one starts. This Stone is proven to

be accurate in Asulon, since then it has played a large influential lore in the

future of the Rosaenic people. The Sacred Stone would promise new life and

chances, for the pure ones. The vile lives would die in the flames and plagues

Demotheus would bring every end of the circle.

 

Rosaenic Art:

 

The Rosaenic culture believes that through creativity they

thrive and enhance the mind. The women sits at home as she watches the children

and makes art, as the man Works for Minas and religion. Several famous Rosaenic

art is already seen and sold throughout Anthos, but as the Rosaenic are

considered heretics. They keep most art for themselves.

 

 

Founding:
 

 

 

 

de Rosaens came to existence with the Hanseti
kingdom, they were the military face until they were defeaten with the
Hanseti's themselves. de Rosaens since then lived in the shadows, being the
common doctors and diplomats. Until the mother , Sarah de Rosaen married with
the former noble Marcus de Stolistes, and gave birth to the two children of the
two families. One of the children was Christopher de Rosaen, he found his other
relatives and set foot  in Anthos as
House de Rosaen.

 

"de Rosaens could never really be
considered traitors nor Hanseti's, as they have pledged their service to the
divine emperor. The last descendents of de Rosaen are mostly military and
medical, with some the expertise of diplomacy."

 

De Rosaen Crisis

 

The first bearers of the Rosaen name made
the biggest disgrace of the house. They took the sacred virginity of many
women. making de Rosaen bloodline far too branched within other families. Two
of the families yet in existence today, Acosta and Daystream. Are considered
natural allies and brethren among de Rosaen, as they carry the Rosaen blood

Physical:

 

De Rosaens are around 6”3 tall, and
are not very known for their strength. Their pale skin and elegant posture
shows the soft traits of a Rosaen. De Rosaen are often skinny compared to the
common wealth people, and they were never really exposed towards harsh work.
The diseases of Depression and Hernia haunts de Rosaen bloodline. As their
minds are more enhanced then their arms, and their unhealthy postures when
walking and standing causes their backs to fail at younger age.

 

Personality:

 

De Rosaens are thaught the way of
diplomacy and politics from Young age, and often tend to think narcistic of
themselves.  They are philosophers from
birth, thinking of their meaning and future whenever their mind grants them
permission too. They are exposed to wealth and elegance from Young age, and are
learned the formal ettiquetes of social interactions from birth. Some people
might call their seek for perfection insane, but for de Rosaens it is normal.
