Owyn de Ruyter, being illiterate squinted at the letter for quite some time before asking a passerby what it said [!] A Raven would deliver a poorly written letter to Eastwood. Nam'- Ow'n d' Ruy'er A'e- Am 19 E'peria'c'- Am Hun'er an ga'her

The HIMS Duke of Marna laid quietly anchored amongst the waves of the eastern ocean as the moon crested over the horizon, draining away the last flicker of lights on the solemn eve. From the officer quarters of the ship came a gentle knock upon a door "Sir - Your wife sent you a. . . letter I do believe" Called out a young coxswain. At the call, a clattering of bottles sounded from within the chamber. "Sir. . . Are you are drinking again?" Spoke the Coxswain as the door was flung open & out stepped an intoxicated Aplex Cenobia. "Hand it here boy - And nevermind the bottles, you'll understand one day." With a grunt to thank the man, Aplex returned back into his room, plopping back down into his unsteady chair. Instinctively his fingers wrapped around a half empty bottle of Carrion Black, taking it up to his lips. It took not even the first sentence message for the elderly man's mood to change. "She has to be joking. . ." His features drew into a grim expression with fire dancing enclosed in his eyes. Through the anger he continued to read up until the last word. An uneasy silence spread across him only to change into rage the moment after. He jumped from his seat, the crimson armor he carried with him everywhere, dropping violently onto the floor from a nearby armor stand. "GAHH! WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN ME" His visage for a mere moment shifted down to his bottle which he held in his hand & without a second thought it tossed it against the back of the door. From his anger he only drew madness. Starting with his desk, pieces of furniture sat about his room were overturned & trashed until there was nothing left to destroy. Aplex crumbled down to the floorboards as a single tear rolled down his withered face. He had finally cracked.

Aplex Cenobia sighed as he read of his wife's misfortune while the sounds of imperial soldiers echoed in the background of the Providence square "They scream for pay, beg for it & threaten to arrest to average citizen for it but yet they fail to do their job properly. I'm starting to see where these ferrymen come from..." The age man rasped "And yet.... they carry no morals. They reap the very sound of the nordlings & suffonians who maimed, tortured & slaughtered children so very long ago." He took a moment, tossing the wretched paper into a puddle of water "And look where those northerners are now... Gone."

Aplex Cenobia wheezed, spitting out a mouth full of beer all over the tavern counter-top "I knew Helvet's always had a screw loose but one proclaiming Renatus a peak of justice is absurd. I bet this fucker hasn't even seen a Renatian banner before. Gods, what the hell happened to this family" The Adunian chuckled as he tossed a few mina's on the counter for the ORENIAN barkeep. "Sword of justice my ass"

"It seems they replaced Sutica with Haense this time around." Aplex chuckled. An amused grin rested upon his face "I give it a saints month." He'd seemingly conclude without context.

❌ Request for a Run Off Mayoral Election 1797
Aplex replied to CasualNuker's topic in Suits, Appeals, & Requests
"I knew this election was rigged from the start!" An angry Adunian shouted, slamming his mug down onto the tavern counter, droplets of liquid splashing out onto the surface "It's all a hoax, all of it! Half of these votes can't even be real! It's those damned Norlanders again, meddling in our fair & just elections!" -
np man, i suppose i should have put ruined in quotations.

The whole grrr bandit thing is just a bad stereotype that got engraved into players heads after bad encounters with previous bandits. It's not the hard to avoid bandits if ya don't want your role-play to get ruined. Just don't use the main roads lol. Anyways, thank you Ferrymen for providing good quality banditing roleplay. Every interaction i've had with a ferryman member has been enjoyable & a good laugh.

Aleksei Orlov patted his brother Dimitri Orlov on the shoulder after he read over the intriguing letter "Congratulations Brother, perhaps we should hold a celebratory dinner for when you win the election, da?" @BogsBinny
-
Vodka spat out of the mouth of Chief Commissioner Aleksei Orlov as he read over the letter "What the hell is this ****?!?" He'd slam his bottle back onto the table before him. "I can't tell you how many letters like these are broadcasted every year. This one will be no different." With an annoyed sigh, the man would idly flick the letter into the flames.
-
Aleksei Orlov reads over the missive as amusement danced in his eyes. "I can not say this comes a surprise. Ironic how he told me his witnesses who could vouch for him were the very people who disowned him..." With that the Chief Commissioner turned back to his work.

Aplex Cenobia frowned upon hearing the news of one of his oldest comrades passing on to the seven skies. ”You were a good man Haarald, a better man than I could ever be. May you find peace in the skies.” He’d dip his head in silence for a moment before looking back off the coast of Kaedrin, wondering when it would be his turn to follow his comrades footsteps into the after life.
-
It was only later that very eve Lieutenant Aplex Cenobia, Master of Sailing stood upon beaches of Kaedrin, his feet dug into the sand as he gazed up at the HIMS Duke of Marna. The ship was a beauty, supporting two gun decks and forty ballista’s, it was sure to make quick work of sea demons and the inferni which stood against the very forces of man kind. ”If I die at least I won’t go out sitting behind terracotta walls, praying to the gods for my salvation.” The man murmured to himself. ”Ave Kaedrin, Ave Oren.”

The Josephites: An interview with Jason Woodward
Aplex replied to sergisala's topic in The Kingdom of Oren
Aplex Cenobia starred dumbfounded at the piece of propaganda ”The Josephites must be desperate. None of that sounds like something Jason Woodward would say, perhaps the writer should actually write down what Jason said next time in stead of some polished piece of political propaganda. How shameful!” -
Alice Valenor grinned upon seeing the bounty ”So this is what happens when a man is to lazy to claim a bounty himself? He sends what, child mercenaries to do it? I’ll cut everyone of them down just to prove how ill skilled these mercenaries and norlanders are.” Alice grinned once more shoving the missive into her pocket before setting off back on her path.
-
Aplex Cenobia smiles as he reads the recruitment missive ”Fun People! Great Hide and Seek players!”
-
Alyss Valenor grins as she hears the news ”Good, finally someone recognized them for what they are.”
-
Aplex Cenobia gasps in shock as he reads the flyer ”Since v’en did I start running a restaurant? I don’t even know how t’e cook!”
-
Aplex Cenobia grins as he reads the news ”About time! T’is war has gone on for far too long! Ave Oren!”

Corporal Aplex Wynn of the 3rd Brigade would retrieve his sword from an enemy soldiers chest frowning ”I’m a little disappointed, I expected more of a fight. Oh Well.” he would mutter to himself as he walked off the battlefield.
-
Aplex doesn’t remember barging in on the meeting but never the less, he worries for the fate of his old captain.

To The Remaining Cheloveks Following the 1752 Massacre
Aplex replied to SerFinnick's topic in Humanity
Corporal Aplex would chuckle to himself while reading this “Silly Terrorists can’t even capture a man properly, how are they suppose to be taken serious?”
