    Gone.

Gone. Juniper stood on the shore, staring out towards the sea. The waves that were once silently calling to her were now beckoning her home. And within the sea foam, the deaf elfess saw what her life had finally come to. Her only wish was to be happy with her family, as many dream similarly. Imagine that… growing up in a peaceful kingdom with her sisters: Amura, Theodosia, and Plume. Perhaps her brother, Alucard, would have joined her and her siblings. Imagine growing up with loving parents, Octavia and Whylde. Now, of course all of them were either dead, abusive, or simply not around. A true shame, no? Even so, Juniper tried to find small joys in her life. Perhaps becoming an author was one of them, or learning alchemy and magic. Larger joys were more rare, but occasionally they managed to wiggle into her life. Such as the day Juniper heard Plume’s voice for the first time in nearly twenty years, or that time her lover, Grayson, had asked her on their first date. Oh, how fond those memories were… Looking around her room one last time, Juniper let out a sigh. Could she even call this her room? Maybe not, with all the times she had moved… How many times had she walked into a house, hoping to settle down and call it home? At least seven… no, eight? She couldn’t even keep track of them all! Nonetheless, maybe… maybe this could be the final place Juniper called home. If there was one thing that brought the melancholic elfess to this ledge, what would it be? Did it begin in the aviary, where she found out Theodosia had taken her own life, when Juniper was only 13 years old? Or perhaps it was upon her 22nd year of life, when her wretched father slit open her own hand. Now that was an ugly scar. At 28, Juniper found out Plume had been murdered… could that have been the cause? Who knows. Of course, as so many memories and dreams whispered across the vast, endless ocean, it became clear to Juniper what she was to do next. Maybe it was a surprise that she had turned out the way she had… maybe it wasn’t. Upon sending her final goodbye letter, Juniper felt a pang of sadness in her chest. Was this the answer? Could this truly be the solution to her life's many problems? Oh well, whether or not this was the way to go, it was too late. Juniper had made up her mind. So finally, Juniper looked up at the sky, and she smiled. Breaking through the waves' deafening roars, Juniper whispered: “I miss you all… I miss you so much.” And with that, Juniper Rose was gone.
  2. Juniper Rose let out a sigh from her homeland of Vikela "And so, another war begins..." She muttered, before returning to whatever she had been doing beforehand.

  5. Ilaria Amador is gonna be the best model ever
  6. A blood curdling, absolutely heart wrenching scream erupted from Juniper's throat as she recieved her letter. Collapsing to her knees, she held the note from her final sister's death as if she would die if she let go. "No... NO NO NO! NO!" Juniper shrieked, tears flooding over the young woman's face "You- y-you promised Plume... YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME!" She continued to heart-breakingly sob as a tsunami of memories crashed over her. The times Plume had played with her as a little girl. When Juniper was sent away during the war, and Plume would come to visit her in Urguan. Every time Plume had played their mother's beloved violin for Juniper. When Juniper had first lost her hearing, and Plume was the only one who would translate for her. Juniper remembered all the adventures and laughs and hugs and cries she had shared with her beloved sister, Plume. Plume was there for her when their other sister, Theodosia, took her own life, and Plume had been there when Juniper first regained her hearing. "Juni! You're the best sister ever and I love you." Those were the first words Juni had heard after getting her hearing aids, and they were spoken by none other than Plume. And she would never hear those words again. Now, the last Rose sibling remained, and she was hardly a shell of the person she once was, with her beautiful sisters and mother having moved on without her.
  7. Juniper smiled, ready to finally have a new place that could perhaps be the last of her many moves during times of war. Then off she went to ask Aech if they wanted to come to the ceremony with her! ( @Aech)
  8. Juniper Rose sighed, frowning at the announcement "Guess that's the end of that..." The young woman mumbled. Her entire life had been a warzone, and she had gotten far too used to moving around, but that doesn't mean it ever got easier to leave a place she once called home. After collecting herself, Juni turned and started towards her house, going to pack her things and inform her parent (@Aech) that they would have to move once more.
  9. This isn't fair. You win.

  16. It had been a long, long life for Octavia Rose Redfist. Though as she stood up and looked around the field of dandelions, the only thing that stood out was a single red rose. She kneeled before it, where the apparition of her dearest friend, Minerva Aspen, appeared in front of her. Octavia was bedridden during her 9th winter with fever, and through the window, she could see Minerva's joyous smile pressed against the glass. "Via, Via!" She called "When you get better, do you want to play outside?" It was such a shame those were the last words that Octavia would hear from her best friend. As Minerva blew away among the dandelions, a burst of maroon flooded Octavia's vision, accompanied by the voice of Ser Sorriel Kranakov Redfist. Octavia stood quietly behind Sorriel as he introduced her to the Redfist clan. Though she was deaf at the time of her recruitment, she was welcomed with open arms. Oh, how Octavia never would have expected to be taken into such a wonderful family; Sorriel, Richart, Coral, Svalfi, Percival, Thomas, Alora, Qiew, and Kane. As the deep maroon's drip stopped, the mischevious laugh of Sorriel was replaced with that of the joyous lime-colored giggle of a young boy; Plume Marlow. Octavia played her violin in the square of Elysium, the excited child looking up at her in wonder. "Wow.. you're like a super hero, Miss Via! I want to be like you when I'm a grown up!" Plume chirped to her once she had finished, to which she smiled. If only Octavia could see the day when Plume would become a super hero of his own. Soon, Plume was racing through the field of dandelions. Another figure ran through the golden flowers; Theodosia Rose had her arms stretched out to receive her mother in a hug. Octavia held her newly adopted daughter in a tight embrace, the swaddled infant sleeping soundly in her arms. Octavia wept tears of joy; she was finally a mother. How cruel it would be to rip little baby Theodosia from Octavia's arms. Soon enough, a blinding light enveloped little Theodosia, and the warmth in Octavia's arms held weight. Juniper Rose wailed, taking in her first breaths. Octavia was but a shell of what she used to be. Her health had deteriorated at an incredibly fast rate. Her pale skin had whitened to that of a ghostly tone, her thin build only resembling that of a skeleton's. With the last of her strength, Octavia held the infant in her arms. "Welcome to the world, my precious angel; Juniper Rose." It was only devastating that the tears Octavia wept would be the last sound her daughter would hear from her. In the field of dandelions, Octavia only smiled proudly at her three babies. Plume, Theodosia, and Juniper. "I may have never found love, but I could not be happier surrounded by my beautiful children. Forgive me, my sweet babies. Forgive me for not watching you grow up, and forgive me for abandoning you." Octavia then turned to her closest friends. Sorriel and Minerva. "Thank you, for saving me, and for the happiness you brought me. Your voices are the most beautiful colors." And as Octavia's hollow whisper rang out through the infinite field, the last petal of the rose fell, flying away in the breeze with the dandelions. Octavia Rose Redfist breathed her last breath, her frail hands going limp and cold. "Your voice is the most beautiful color." Octavia Rose Redfist Loving mother, loving sister, Loving friend to all.

Living in the state of Sutica, Octavia Rose was the 8th child born in her family, with 7 elder brothers. Octavia, a musically gifted child, loved to play the violin in her youth, and became quite good. As time went on, Octavia's family grew poor, struggling to provide for the 10 people in their house during the war. Due to the poverty, she fell sick during the harsh winter with scarlet fever. Her family was unable to pay for proper medical care, so all they could do was pray she would live. By some miracle, Octavia survived the illness, but her immune system had grown weak and the fever had stolen her hearing. She was absolutely heartbroken by that, unable to hear the music of her treasured violin. But that didn't stop her from playing, using her muscle memories to play for her friends and family. Also unable to hear her family, Octavia, her close friends and her relatives learned sign language so she could communicate with them. Because of how severely the war impacted both her and her family, Octavia celebrates the day the peace of merryweather was signed, spending the day with her family and honoring the fallen soldiers with a melody on her violin. But as Octavia was a free spirit, she began a journey once she turned 18, travelling across the land on her way to Oren in hopes of meeting with an old friend that sent a bird of her moving into the capital.
