THE PRINCESS-CONSORT Her Royal Highness, Ottavia of Pompourelia Her Royal Highness, The Consort holds full sovereignty over The Aster Courts with the ability to appoint whoever pleases her, though she is also tasked with ensuring that all members of the court maintain a proper image by following all rules and guidelines provided within the Aster Court. THE GRAND LADY Miss, Elizabeth Harlowe The Grand Lady is one of the most important ranking within the Aster Council; Whoever takes up this position oversees the entire court alongside the Princess-Consort. Ensuring that all Council roles are filled and managed in order to ensure that the court is able to function properly. The Grand Lady of the Aster Court should also have an extensive knowledge of the Margraviate’s history and culture, allowing them to set an example for the rest of the court. Positions serving directly under the Grand lady include: The Princesses Amanuensis [VACANT] - The Princess Amanuensis is tasked with the role of writing invitations and ensuring that they are sent out. They are also to write out transcripts of any court meetings that are held within the Aster Court. Court Physicians [Miss Elewyn of Stassion] - The Court Physician, also known as a royal physician is a medical doctor who serves in the Aster Court. Their primary responsibility is to provide medical care to members of the family and other important individuals in the court. THE CASTLE CONSERVATOR Miss, Consuela de Savin The Castle Conservator plays a big part within the liveliness of the court, tasked with ensuring the regular holding of activities and events within the Margraviate are to take place. Along with the responsibilities of holding feasts and soiree’s, The Castle Conservator is also to ensure the castle is properly decorated for the events taking place Positions serving directly under the Castle Conservator include Members of the Event Commission - Members of the Event Commission are to assist the Castle Conservator in hosting and holding events; These courtiers are also allowed to propose and run events of their own Master of the Hunt [VACANT] - The Master of the Hunt is a Courtier within the margravate charged with securing frequent hunts for the Aster Court.. THE LADY CONCIERGE Her Highness, Charlotte of Marsana The Lady Concierge is in charge of maintaining the castle itself. They are tasked with handing off keys to those in need of them, the management of servantry and making arrangements for visitors and courtiers of the Aster court. They also play a vital role within the court, the Lady Concierge is to ensure all courtiers and visitors to the court are informed of proper etiquette and fashion standards. Positions serving directly under the Lady Concierge include The Court Governess [VACANT] - The Court Governess is the Head of stassions education, tasked with the care and ensuring that the youth of both the Aster court though more specifically the children of Stassion’s Household. Court Tailors - The court tailors are in charge of providing the finest of garments to the Aster Court, Ensuring all members within Stassion are dressed within the latest fashion of Stassion. Lady’s Maids - When a Lady is of age, the Princess-Consort may choose to Invite them to the court in order to either attend her, or other ladies within the royal household. This can also Include being paired with the Princess’s daughters from a young age. It is very important for all lady’s Maids to know the proper etiquette within the Aster court, along with acting as a confidante to her Lady COURT MAGE Miss, Valindra Nullivari A Scholar within the aster court, registered as a licensed mage within stassion. The Court mage serves as not only an advisor to the court but also is tasked with studying and furthering their knowledge. They are also to oversee any other mages within the Aster court. 1st Edition of the Andregrad Chronicles Published 4th of Suns Smile, 1927 Introduction, Upon the Rediscovery of our traditional Raevir customs, It's important for the citizens of Vaska to understand and celebrate their culture and its fashion. In this article, we shall explain the proper etiquette on the trends of fashion in Vaska so that the people are able to take pride in their heritage. The Raevir folk of Stran are busy people and therefore need to be clothed in attire that is comfortable and easy to wear. Men of Vaska Common Trends amongst Men The men of Vaska value utility over fashion in almost all cases. Loose fitting pants and shirts held up with a belt of some kind are the most popular choices. Belts are usually made of a cotton, linen or leather material, heavily depending on occupation and if the belt itself is used to hold tools or weapons. The clothing is kept loose to ensure mobility and comfort while working, with heavy coats popular for the colder seasons. Accessories amongst men are few and far between. Jewellery is uncommon, even amongst nobles as wealth is almost never determined by material possessions, and more the contributions to the society as a whole. The only accessories really seen amongst men are the fur caps and leather gloves worn while working, hunting or during the colder months. The colours of clothes are not usually that widely colourful, at least amongst the common strelt and peasant. The most common coloration of clothing ranges from earth tones and desaturated reds or blues to blacks, greys and off-whites can also be seen being worn. The hairstyles of Vaskan men, Strelt or Noble, vary greatly. Some men wear their hair long to keep themselves warm in the colder months, while others keep their hair short so as to not get in the way of work. Something that is consistent amongst Vaskan men is the presence of facial hair. Most men have some form of beard, moustache or otherwise. Within the Counts court As for the more renowned men of the Counts’ Court, the men of noble birth, fashion is not overly different from what the common man wears. Clothing is meant for utility, comfort and mobility, not restriction or flauntation. The main differences however, between the common strelt and the nobler man, is the Shashka blades present on their hips, the large fur coats, and the more durable and expensive materials of their clothing. Another notable distinction between the common strelt and noblemen of Vaska, is that often, those within the Counts’ Court will wear the clothing of the ruling house they are under, or of their own house depending on the status of said house. For example, a knightly house would be expected to wear the colours of the ruling house, while a higher house would wear the colours of their crest. Women of Vaska Common Trends Amongst Women While living within the Ducal City of Andregrad, being able to move freely and quickly is a very important thing to consider when deciding on what to wear. Dresses of many different colours are often adorned by the Women of Stran. As a working citizen, it is more common for the clothing to be looser and easier to move in therefore a trend of outfit usually consists of a Simple Linen dress often tied together with an embroidered belt. When one does not find themselves running day to day errands fancier dresses are worn, this often consists of Sarafans, skirts and Vests. Younger women are often encouraged to wear brighter colours whilst older women tend to adorn themselves in more put together shades. When It comes to accessorising, Jewelry is often uncommon as wealth is not determined by Material qualities, When one does decide to wear a necklace it is often a simple beaded one often crafted with Glass or Amber beads. Veils and Scarves are a very popular tendency amongst the younger generation as a Cover over one's head can symbolise her purity, youthfulness and dedication to her faith. When a woman is seen wearing a shawl draped over her, it is seen as her showing respect to her lineage and this is why it is also very common to see. The shawl is often one that has been passed down to her either by her mother or those before her, having been embroidered by the older women of the family before being passed on. Hairstyles within Andregrad are very much of importance when it comes to a woman's appearance or other’s opinions of her, hence why it is a must for her to take pride in how she presents herself. Younger women are usually encouraged to adorn herself in a Braid or Braids, often tied together with ribbons that hang from the top of the style during the season of Istiam. Or if they are not wearing a braid to Cover their hair with a Veil or scarf. Within the Countess' court When it comes to the Ladies of a higher stature, dresses are more likely to be based off of their day to day activities though often range from Sarafans to Linen skirts paired with a well fitted top. Whilst not much changes from a commoner to a noble, a girl from a high standing house is expected to dress herself in the colours of her house or during the season of Istiam very colourful clothes that may compliment her house's colours. Kokoshnik are usually crafted for the higher class ladies of Vaska though are only usually worn during special events such as feasts, weddings or even Dances. Children of Vaska Due to the Raevir folk of Stran being known for their resourcefulness, it is not uncommon for the younger boys and girls to be seen wearing much looser clothing that seems to be miles larger for them. This is because the families of Vaska tend to allow their children to grow into the clothes rather than to buy or craft new ones every time the child grows. Boys of Andregrad are often seen wearing large shirts and loose pants paired with a fabric belt whereas the girls are seen wearing dresses with the hems raised to allow for them to run freely. The children of Vaska are encouraged to run about and get dirty, hence often why the clothes they wear are most likely handed down. At events, noble boys can also be seen in coats and hats like their fathers and the girls can be seen in their sarafan dresses and kokoshnik

THE ROYAL COURT of Aaun C.1927 His Royal Majesty, James Leopold of Alstion, calls the first royal court of Aaun into session on the 10th of Sun's Smile, 1927 His Royal Majesty begins with addressing the conflict surrounding the Duchy of Adria, and the deaths of Sir Bult Wick and Count Sigismund Varoche, declaring their eternal remembrance and bidding a prayer for their souls. His Royal Majesty calls upon the names of the Count Sigismund and Sir Bult, dubbing them Knights-Immortal of Emperor Henry the Lion. His Royal Majesty calls upon the Lord Heinrich Alstreim, Prince of Merryweather, to present himself before the court. Thanking him for his house’s unwavering loyalty, the Crown dubs him Custodian of the Immortal Order of Emperor Henry the Lion. On the Matter of the Franks His Royal Majesty calls upon His Grace, Sir Brandt Barclay, Duke of Minitz. His Grace addresses the court on the recent conflict with the Frankish tribe that resides on that of Minitz's Land, warning them of the recent banditting of his people. His Royal Majesty dubs the Duke of Minitz Warden of the Franklands, allowing him to call upon brave volunteers to help pacify the pagan Franks. His Royal Highness, Prince Henry Charles is commanded to gather and arm the men under the Crown’s Aaunic Legion. His Royal Majesty beckons the Duke to Kneel before the Crown and Her Saintly Protectors and dubs him Knight-Immortal of Emperor Henry the Lion. Announcements Her Royal Highness, Adeline Johanna speaks on the Royal event Schedule and The Royal Coronation is announced.
