[!] Contents not publicly known unless given out. I am a Hammer. I am a tool for the Pure, Tasked with the Great Mission. Upon these shining, silver pages, you will find in it our Law. For us, His Hands, as recorded by me Heulwen Medwyn This by nature, is a living document, as the Pure world is always, forever changing, and changing in Impure ways not meant to it. As the first Judge of The Hands, I will hand the quill off to the next to update its contents. So on and so forth shall this tradition carry until Purity reigns the world once more. To my peers I will part unto you the words of the Law. Let the Law and Purity guide your work as His Hands. The Law as it is known As it was imparted to me by Him on High, I was given the Law. The innate Laws of Purity and Justice that was set upon the world by Him as spoken by and acted on by Tahariae as God's vessel. I will quickly list them as such: Adhere the notion of purity above all else. Maintain personal sanctity. Be merciful to the repentant. Deliver purity through legalism and justice. Preserve worldly collaboration. Destroy the unrepentant. Sensible, clear Laws that the world is built upon. But what do they mean? How are we to interpret them? I shall go through each of them for you, starting with the first. Adhere the notion of purity above all else. Now, we know that Pure beings are those untouched and unmarred by the Void, dark magics and creations of the Betrayer and the foul sulphurous beings of the Hells. That much is obvious, they weren’t made or meant for this world. They were not made by God to share our fields and cities. But what about those that straddle the line between “natural” and “unnatural?” “Pure” and “Impure?” Like those who have replaced themselves with metal, and false life created from said element, as well as rocks and other miscellaneous alchemical means? Should they be considered Pure because our world was made to hold these elements and means? Or because our hands made them? You may answer yes to all of these, but, I would say that just because it is “natural,” it does not make it meant for us. If we were meant to engage in alchemy, in carving stone into life, to smelting metal into tubes for mechanized life, then we would have been made with the innate ability to see the Signs and Symbols as clear as the colours of the world. It would not be something that must be handed down, something your eyes must be strained and trained to even see. But you might say that everything needs training to master. This is true, yes, but our bodies were made to grow, our muscles were made to be strengthened. Their bodies are not. They cannot fully enjoy what it means to live, to even be, because they were not meant to be made. They are not Pure. It is akin to the Sin of the Betrayer, it is wrong, Impure and unbecoming of us as God’s children to even claim our hubris is as the same as God’s to make life. Let alone to create life without a Soul. This is the same fundamental profane, heretical act that those who raise the dead act in. They are not and will not be tolerated by Tahariae. So in turn these beings will not be tolerated by us. As for the Void, it should not be allowed to touch your body and mind with its poison, and subsequently any Voidal mage who actively connects to the Void and uses its “gifts” should be seen as a lost cause and an Impure stain on the world we are trying to make. As such the Void and Void touched, even the lowliest mage, will be judged appropriately and be made Pure. On the topic of the other Aenguls and their mortal servants. While it is true that the Aenguls are avatars and vessels of God, acting on and speaking God’s holy word. It is also true that their delicate connections to God have strained and they, in their newfound hubris and juvenile rebellion, have forgotten who they are and act independently of each other and God. Tahariae has remained Pure in his connection to God. He still enacts the first Laws spoken by God on our Realm and as such Tahariae is the Purest of His siblings. The other Aenguls shall be denied their mortal servants and wiles until they calm from their juvenile fits and return to God and return to their Holy and Pure ways and connection. This is how we will uphold Purity as a concept and the divine Law and state of being as it is in the world. Maintain personal sanctity. To maintain your sanctity is a simple process; keeping yourself Pure. But Purity as we know it, one being untouched by the marring taint of the Void, corruption of dark magics and the touch of those from the Hells, is a hard to maintain state of being. It is a process we all must engage in. To shirk your curses painted upon your Soul is no easy task. This is both a bodily and spiritual process. Keeping your mind and body Pure is paramount to our World without curses. Your mind remains Pure by keeping your oath to Tahariae and continuing His mission as well as denying your curses. Your body remains Pure by keeping it free of further taint by the Betrayer’s magics and the Hells and free of alchemical processes such as alchemical false limbs and alchemical gearwork. As well as these there is the issue of the other Aenguls and the Void. It should be stated plainly that to maintain your sanctity by retaining your oath to Tahariae is to deny the tempting voices of the other Aenguls and their servants. As such, it is paramount that we forgo the sanctimonious voices of the Aengul’s servants and remember that they straddle the line between Pure and Impure. As for the Void, all I will say on the matter is: remember that Voidal tears cannot be in our realm without their existence. If you are old enough to remember Ando Alur or to have heard the stories, then you are very much aware of the dangers one Voidal mage may cause. Not to mention the sickness they bring upon themselves. Such it is that any Voidal mage is automatically heretical to Purity and personal sanctity. Be merciful to the repentant. What is afforded to us in the purview of the Law is a rarity hard found in the “laws” of other Aenguls and the fallible “laws” of Descendants: Mercy. We have the means to purge and cleanse the Souls of Impure beings, making them Pure once again. His Justice is God’s Justice. As such we shall use it to its utmost respect. To those who are repentant, desire saving and seek redemption we will offer our open palm, the olive branch. If they need a means of escape from Impurity then it shall be given, if they desire resources for their Impure friends and family they shall be given and if they desire a quick death to escape the clutches of Impurity where His Light cannot cleanse then it will be given with Honour. But this is a double-edged sword. Mercy is an ill-afforded kindness we cannot always expect to pay. There is a time and place to know when to give mercy and when to not. We are not a resource, a never-ending well to be tapped. We are the providers so we decide who shall be given their Shriving. We decide who is truly Repentant and who is not. We are not a charity to be taken advantage of. Remember this: we are a tool, a tool that decides when to be used and when to not. What is true repentance will be decided upon by fair trial(s). It is something that one must prove to us, it is not something we decide with blind faith. These are Impure beings seeking Purity, as such, they should prove to us that Purity is deserved to be in their Souls again. Deliver purity through legalism and justice. Anything that is deemed a current or possible threat to Purity will be forced to prove their compliance to Purity and the Law to us. What this means is outlined more in the section titled: The Process of Law. But, it must be spoken here regardless. We, as His mortal implements of Justice, Purity and the Law, are the most qualified to judge Descendants in the purview of the Law. We have the unique position of being able to use His Light and to know His Law, the first Laws spoken to the World on the eve of Creation. As such, both shall be turned towards Descendants. Whether they be others that carry His Light, Impure beings or leal Descendants that have no magic or other Impurities. It is their right to be given a fair trial in the outlines of the Law to prove their Purity to us. As such anything that is deemed a threat to Purity and our and His mission will be subpoenaed and given their fair trial to prove themselves worthy of being called Pure. Preserve worldly collaboration. We shall work with the Pure world to spread His vision and Law into every Pure being. Collaboration between the Pure world and us is of paramount importance. For to deny His vision and forsake the Pure to those of temptation, Impurity and lax Clerics is to forsake the Law and His mission and our mission of purging the curses from our very Impure Souls. But do not forget where you stand in the echelons of the world. We are inherently above them, and live among them, but we are not their servants. We as being the carriers of His Light and Purity, following the Law, get to decide which is a worthwhile collaboration and which is not. It is better and easier to guide the kingdoms of Descendants to shirk their curses and to follow Purity and the Law then it is to guide another Aengul servant, or Voidal mage, and what-have-you. Destroy the unrepentant. Unrepentant Souls are more common than they are not. Unrepentance is a severe and unfortunate downside of the Curse of Temptation. Nevertheless, if when given proper trial a Soul that is Impure, but not of direct Apostasy, still clings to their Impurity, or crawls back to Impurity, then there is but only one Law that applies to them: Destruction. As such, any and all Impure Temptations and Impure Souls that are unrepentant shall be destroyed and their writings, knowledge, images, iconography and anything that would trace back to said Impurity will be summarily destroyed. To erase temptation, you must first make the temptation itself nonexistent. Otherwise you are willingly allowing Impurity to exist in our world and that does not fit into the Law. Nonexistance being true, lasting nonexistance. The knowledge shall be truly, wholly and literally forgotten and destroyed. Temptation, Impurity and Darkspawn cannot exist if the very temptation does not either. The process of Law To be His steadfast arbiters of the Law and Purity, it is our duty as such to hold trials in His name. Using the known Law as our guide, and doing our duty of delivering Purity through Justice and legalism we will enact His Justice through our Realm. We will judge those by three categories separated by severity in matters of Impurity both spiritual and bodily. The three categories of enacting His Justice shall be: Impuritas Corpus Impuritas Animus Impuritas Existentia Or in other words: “Impurity of The Body, Impurity of The Soul and Impurity of Existence.” These categories are not ordered in terms of their relative severity. As such, we will go over them now and what is in each category: Impuritas Corpus “Impurity of The Body.” This is dedicated to those that have replaced body parts with alchemical creations and prosthetics, have learned the process of alchemy and especially those alchemists that have delved further to make imitations of life through their “craft.” There is an order to which something is more severe and an affront to Purity. I will list them as such: Alchemy: Your lay-alchemist is on a thin line. While they themselves have started to delve into Impure tactics, their Soul remains relatively Pure. As such they will be monitored and kept track of. Where this changes is if they have made alchemical prosthetics, encourage other alchemists to do so, have begun teaching others or have started to or currently make alchemical machines and alchemical mechanised beings. The main avenue of dealing with an alchemist is recording their name, address and associates if possible so we may keep an up to date record of their actions. If an alchemist has or is currently making prosthetics or alchemical machinery/alchemical mechanised beings then the avenue for dealing with alchemists of this kind is a trial. Here we will go over their charges and affronts to Purity and a Pure world with the aim for a sentence of deeper surveillance and a renunciation of their ways. If an alchemist of this disposition in any way denies their charges or openly disagrees with their sentence or continues to make prosthetics, alchemical machinery and alchemical mechanised beings or changes their appearance to escape our surveillance then they will be treated as an unrepentant Impure being and be put to death. Tawkinists: These are alchemists that have lost what it means to be Pure. These are those that make false-life without a Soul and make imperfect copies of their bodies. There is no need to trial or to record these alchemists as they are Impure beings and will be put to death the second they are found. Prosthetics: Those with mundane prosthetics will be left alone. But those with magical, alchemical or alchemical machinery prosthetics will have them forcefully removed from their body and the name of the offending alchemist recorded. If at any point these people replace the removed prosthetic(s) with another Impure one then they will be jailed until their Impure thoughts and tendencies are gone. If this still does not work then they will be treated as an unrepentant Impure being and will be put to death. Impuritas Animus “Impurity of The Soul” is the branch that deals with those that have sundered their Soul to Voidal magic and the magic of other deities. The means of dealing with those of this category is dependent on their type. To those repentant and seek our Mercy then we shall have them prove their willingness to be saved before we give Mercy. But for those that would cling onto their Impure ways and shadowed existence then death or crippling is their only salvation. The punishments listed in this category are such: Aengul Servants: The sentence for another servant of an Aengul, including our brethren should they be deemed incompetent, is a Just one: separating one’s Soul from their connection to their Aengul. This shows a true repentant act to one’s Impure ways to right their Souls and bodies back to Purity’s embrace. While we cannot force this act of severance on others in any true, meaningful way unless they carry His Light. We can, if needed, make the use of their “gifts” impossible through crippling their body, or their death. Permanently saving the rest of their Soul and body from their Impure taint. Voidal Mages: To punish a Voidal mage is a simple affair: the renunciation of their magic(s), that they will cease connecting to the Void for the rest of their Mortal life and give to us, or otherwise destroy, any and all implements, books, iconography and enchantments of the Void. If one denies to cease their use, fights back or otherwise is hostile to their punishment, then death is the solution. Cursed Children: A nuanced case. While they are Impure, they did not ask to be this way, or had any choice in the matter. Neither are they alike to other creations or summons from Dark Magicians. They shall be given Mercy, they shall be cleansed and their malady purged and washed away. Forcefully, if needed. If their cleansing is something they deny, or they seek to openly live carrying that Impurity, or follow the tempting voice of their Impurity, then they shall be killed. Impuritas Existentia “Impurity of Existence” is the category that deals with the magics set upon the world by the Betrayer and those that carry his torch, those foul brings created by the Betrayer’s magic and or Daemons, beings from the Hells, their associated summoners and as well as those that have replaced their whole body with metal and alchemical functions to replace their Pure life. There is not much we can do for them. But for those our Light can save we will offer it. If taken we will make a list of all their contacts and companions and offer the Light to them as well if they are Impure. But for those who deny our Light, those that cannot be saved by it, and those that live in direct, offensive opposition to Purity, then a quick, swift death is the only sentence. Dark Magicians: Dark Magicians shall be given mercy if, and only if they, through their trial, are found to be truly repentant and willing to pay for their Impurities and actions. If not, then they will be killed and all knowledge of their existence struck from the world. Creations/Summons from Dark Magicians: Impure beings from birth that do not carry a Soul, they shall be killed and their existence struck from the world. Notable Outlier: Cursed Children. Read the above section Impuritas Animus. Creations of Daemons or other Deities: Beings created in the hubris of the Aenguls and Daemons are Impure and do not carry the same Souls as us Descendants. They cannot be righted to Purity like Descendants can as they were made independently of God. They shall be killed and their existence struck from the world. Beastfolk (Kharajyr, Musin, Hou-Zi): Like the above, unnatural beings that cannot be righted to Purity’s embrace. They shall be killed and their existence struck from the world. Dragonkid, Azdrazi and their associated Heralds: All Dragonkin and Azdrazi shall be killed. Like creations from the Daemons and other Aenguls, they are unnatural and are an affront to Purity and the Creation made by God. Their Heralds and mortal servants shall be offered Mercy following the protocol for all beings that can be. If they deny or crawl back to their dragon’s den, then they will be killed. Voidstalkers: They can no longer be righted to Purity for they have given up their Purity for fleeting power. They shall be killed and their existence struck from the world. Voidal Creations: Unnatural, completely and wholly. They shall be killed and their existence struck from the world. Alchemical Beings, Homonculi, Alchemical Machinery: They cannot be righted to Purity like Descendants can as they were made independently of God, or have given up their body and Purity. Smmer my point is that if you think the banned player(s) deserves transparency and that admins falsely ban people to get them off the server than why would their transparency ever be honest to the banned player(s)? You are just creating a never ending cycle for yourself to continue to be mad at administration. They're not really owed anything at the end of the day like the rest of us. None of us are owed anything by administration no matter what our personal opinions are on the matter. It is a non-issue. If you truly believe you have friends that keep getting banned for "false reasons" and you want to stick up for them then you're just fighting a losing fight and wasting your own time, because you'd have to accept in your worldview that the admins would want to be honest to people you believe they fucked over falsely.

Idk. I'm gonna agree with Nav and also add on and ask: if you think there are false bans then why would you expect the transparency to be honest? Let's be real here, if you're already against administration and think they have hate boners for certain people to get them off the server than why would their transparency be honest to you? This is such a non-issue, non-debate to foment the same anti-admin bias and drama we see on the forums like every other week. edit: I will also add on: if you believe someone's life is so easily ruined by what some terminally online emotionally soft 16 year olds say on a Minecraft server then maybe go outside and live your life?

A miasma of foul sorcery hangs itself thick on a small island in the south of Azuras. A dark black stain upon a canvas of pristine silver and white trees and land. A stain on Purity, an affront to nature, a blight upon Descendants. I have seen it with my own eyes, a tear in the Realm that spills its foul sorceries. Fooldude I love you, but this isn't it. This is just like when paladins got shelved and most of us crashed out for weeks and quit playing for months. It happens, RP has consequences and sometimes those consequences suck major ass. This is one of those times, you just roll with the punches and move on in time. Just take a break for a bit, re-calibrate and come back in time. This server has a really specific way of making everyone more sensitive than they need to be, things happen. It's okay to be mad, but doing this whole thing isn't okay. I wish the best for you but please take a break for your mental.

One may get lost and wander onto the wrong path, but willful defiance or deviation from Purity are forbidden. All of us, each and every one of us, made in God’s image, has the Divine mission from birth to ignore and shun the Betrayer’s curse and kin. This should be common sense, yet it seems with every passing hour in a day that it is more and more lost to us. The thread that connects us to God growing thinner as every moment passes. It has not even been a year since I have seen a Dwarf executed in violation of the Divine Law given to us by God. Have we strayed so far from our birth? Have we forgotten God’s love? Have we decided to fully give in to the tainted stain painted upon our souls by the Betrayer? You wage war and you slay your fellow Pure Descendant in petty squabbles of politics. You kill and maim your Pure brothers and sisters while speaking of God’s love. You shed the blood of Pure, innocent beings and desecrate the land in God’s name while forgetting that this is not what God wants from you. Every act of violence upon your Pure brothers and sisters further sheds your Goodness from your soul. Yet you continue anyway, every drop of blood from a Pure being further deepens the sadness in God. He is crying and you do not hear it. He is crying and you do not care or heed to listen. You all speak of Unity and yet you all cannot even decide what voice speaks God’s word. You all speak of Love and Holiness while giving in to your curses. You forget what True Law is while acting out in the hubris of a rebellious child to make Laws of your own. You hoard land and resources while denying charity to those of lesser circumstance than you. You act on the worst of yourselves while calling yourselves Holy. You act in the Betrayers name through the curses given to us and call yourself Godly. You Love what you should Abhor, and you Abhor what you should Love. What happened to us?
