      How are we controlling how the default terrain is made? The west needs to be void no matter how far north or south you go, (otherwise you could generate chunks /around/ the void part) and we'll probably want to generate more water on the south edge or the sea will be rather narrow.

      @ Lago So far the idea was to have it be minecraft generated, a giant desert could be pretty awesome but some may not like the lack of diversity =/

When It was painted, I could sprint to any kingdom from spawn in no more than 8-10 minutes- I figured with horses coming soon and possible fast-travels that the distance between kingdoms wouldn't big a deal at all, but it seems it has =/ Free-land along the road & proper mines should've been in Anthos from the beginning but I left my staff position a few months before release and that may have made things harder to piece together - I'm not really sure. I had some radical ideas to fix up Anthos that required a few demolitions but I think a census was just to move maps instead, I'm posting an update about the 4.0 map, tonight !
  11. Back in the day, if someone wanted to kill my character or my people for loot or just because - we roleplayed it as their character wanted to kill for loot or just because. As-long as you're clever with how you punish these kinds villains and/or talk to them about providing mutual roleplay (in a polite way.) then I think we'll be fine. (as-well as put a "things to remember" at spawn.) No one should have to visit the forum to play the game, aside from their white-list application.

  21. I wasn't talking about the naming of items, I for one think that should be 100% allowed - even if it's misused!
  22. Sure you could "Rp'ly" do a million and one different things, problem is minecraft and our plugins don't allow all of the actions you'd like to do. Many times it will start an argument between players about what is, and what isn't possible or a GM has to be online and able to help you do whatever is you want to do. The Team is reverting back to - "If you can't place a ladder there, then you just can't place a ladder there." Which will most likely be explained in lore by protective magic spells and whatnot. Does that limit what your character can do? Sure - but there's still so many more millions of options that the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. (in my opinion.)
