There was planning Ned, or so I hear. Their plans though didn't take into account us moving into the Fringe... And now we can see their ability to adapt. Although in regards to 4.0 what Bungo said, 4.0 is small make no mistake. That's the problem with the map. Hopefully when we get more building done, we can show that to people through MT screenshots.

I've heard people say that the economy of Aegis contributed in a large part to its addictiveness and its ability to retain players/foster RP. Can any vets or people who are familiar with it explain this?

To be honest skills helped, but for me it didn't matter at the time. It was the cost of things, sure I got a free set of iron armour off the Oren Guard. But it cost around 1000 minas for a mining permit at the time. When there's no public resource gathering areas it kinda forces people to work if they want to get stuff. But that may be also due to me being dirt poor and not knowing how to earn minas back then...

Indeed, there are many truths in this world, but only one reality. Sitting behind a screen and generalizing the world doesn't seem rational to me. Well considering the over 7 billion people on this earth. When you think about it, this isn't really correct. Maybe in some areas, but I would argue not on a global scale. After all LoTC =/= entire world.

If you could call on a "greater creature" in LotC for aid, what would it be. No superheroes, nor "machinery", nor goofy things. Something that is fictional, creative, and plausible.
