Agreed! Moving back to one main road where everyone branches off would be sick. Would make the entire community more involved with each other.

Unless I'm mistaken, we asked for expanded crafting recipes. I don't believe anyone demanded on mass for a grind system that is functionally worse than Nexus. -

Basically the response to the critique thread is "what you said is a lie, we won't remove the plugin but infact, code more for it despite a huge number of people wanting it removed. To be honest I don't care that you want it removed"

I reached out to Llir and they clarified a lot of this because I had similar concerns. There are plans to change everything we see as an issue and there are no plans to force us to use something we don't want to use. Skills will be added and things will be reworked but it seems that scheduling and project issues got in the way of the process. I definitely suggest messaging Llir with your concerns. I was displeased with the response as well but felt very good after talking with Llir.

A lot of people, especially pill addicts, don't want other people's concern. Not much anyone can really do to "address" it either beside the person taking the pills or people in their life. And yea... a lot of drugs aren't even as bad as alcohol is.

Stone types, wood types, pris, sand, terrecotta, various other BUILDING nodes respawn timers have been cut. 2 hours to 30 mins.

@Esterlen Yea I guess I could do that but it still makes zero sense that I have to wait for the resources that I want to grind for right now. Every resource in Vortex needs to be easier and more logical to come by.
@nickrocky213 Love to hear stuff like that. The effects of Vortex are really cool to see within the economy and PvP. It just feels like there are a lot of confusing, unneeded progression hurdles.

Hate to hate but this doesn't solve any problems with having to wait for resources. I can gather from nodes in about 5 minutes so, while it is a shorter wait, I'm still needlessly sitting and waiting to gather more resources. Doesn't make much RP sense how this system works entirely. For example, with how you find and gather resources, how the proficiency system works as an expertise system instead of being based on player skill, and energy all together.

When you go to learn about Vortex but all you get from searches are "I hate vortex" posts by users, I think some kind of response is warranted. I'm newly returning to the server and Vortex is interesting but it seems there's been willful ignoring by the staff since the beginning of the plugin's release... that's disheartening to say the least.
