    I guess I'll never understand why Halflings stopped being a Subrace of Humans, why High Elves stopped being a subrace of Elves, and why Goblins stopped being a subrace of Orcs (or at least assumed to be such) :(

      I think the hate of Halflings being a subrace was actually all IC. Even so, they were so different in culture, and only close in appearance
