@Raptor For me, LotC was getting in the way of real-life issues, like uni work. It had too much control, so being severed from it, unable to get on by simply clicking, was a good move. I don't doubt there are others in similar scenarios.

And how did you get back on? By messaging a GM asking to unban you no? If you would do that that then whats to stop you from doing that when you get the temptation? It doesnt really make much sense to me. If you are going to ban youself you should make it a GM forced ban, not "Im ready to come back, unban me." But thats only if you REALLY have to.

That much I had the self-control to do, mainly because by the time it would take to sit down and write something cohesive that doesn't sound like "LET ME BACK ON I'M DESPERATE", you should have gained control of yourself again. Worked for me at least.
