Voidal evocation is also the most uninspired and boring magic, I would say, especially considering you basically can't use it for creative non-combat uses. 

Oh come on giant pie you know people aren't creative enough and when people are everyone else will be like "powergaming grr!"

Well at least unlike elemental evocation, arcanism has other uses besides combat.
