  1. The Lament for Arkarus After decimating the forces of the Rebellion, Augustus de Sola marches the loyalist men towards Barrowyck for a siege. The loyalists stay ready in their encampment near Brelus, preparing for the siege. A pig roasts in the middle of the camp as the Generals of Olivier de Savoie and the Lord Marshal stand around a table with a very detailed map resting in the middle. Several candles burn within the camp as two guards stand attentively outside. Clanging of hammers and the chopping of trees can be heard in ambience throughout the encampment. Outside the camp, a small band of riders prepared and covered themselves in dark cloaks. They rode out in the cover of darkness, swiftly as one can through such thick forests. The scouts rode to Barrowyck to assess the lands, the defenses, the availability of water. Lord Marshal Augustus de Sola runs his fingers down the map as he indicates the point of attack and from where they would launch their siege. The barbarism and treachery of the Vladovs would not go unpunished. Awaiting the return of the scouts to plan his next move. Type of battle: Siege/Conquest Time: Saturday, 10pm GMT 5pm EST - 22/08/15 (A week after the Field Battle as agreed upon) Attacking force: Loyalists and their allies Defending force: Rebels and their allies Location and boundaries: Barrowyck castle and surrounding lands to establish siege-camp. The main point of fighting would be Barrowyck castle. Excluding tunnels/underground settlements. Direct Area: Surrounding area of battle field for reference: Terms of Victory Victory for Oren: Major Majority of Defenders pushed away/retreated/killed. Victory for Rebels: Major Majority of Attackers pushed away/retreated/killed. Rewards If the attackers win: They shall be control the region of Barrowyck County and the castle. If defenders win: The area will not be war-claimable for a time chosen by a GM. Rules -Server Rules -No fake statuses -No returning to battle -No Potions/Gapples -No altering of the terrain within the short time provided. -No making of excessive or unrealistic amount of defenses. No great walls. As no progress on any form of defenses have been made by Barrowyck thus far. -Once the castle is successfully besieged, hiding in tunnels and such would be considered a term of victory as the defenders are pushed away.
  2. Everything has been cleared up in a Skype Conversation between myself, Slic3man, Pandan & Arkantos. See you guys on Saturday
  3. I would not, the previous leader in the previous Warclaim had already agreed to the rules as they are presented. Potions and Golden Apples just provide an advantage over just PvP and tactics. It turns it into some form of faction PvP fight.
  4. Status got deleted, not a fan.

      Harri

      what did it entaiL???

  5. The warclaim has been postponed till next Saturday. As the attacking side cannot meet the dates of Friday nor Saturday, and we cannot meet Sunday. It is only logical.
  6. Just because some people may have other, real life, obligations on the date it means that we cannot quell a rebellious state? As I said, we're not going to accept a siege on the capital. Nonetheless, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. The whole fleet will not be able to be rebuilt within such a short time, especially with regular assaults on Northern Holdings, and in winter. The land route to Felsen would require you passing through either Peremont or Dour Watch, of which one would at least have to be siege prior to Felsen being sieged. We also have to decide upon the field of battle in which the open-field skirmish will take place. Then whoever wins, the Warclaim will take place a week after the second warclaim is posted by the Victor of the open-field battle.
  7. FT + SS pillar for an unrecognised rebellious state? Winning an open-field battle doesn't entitle legitimacy. We'll decide upon a day/date tomorrow with times. Felsen cannot be besieged first, especially not now simply due to the naval force of Vanaheim being eliminated, unfortunately. We'll decide upon an Open-Field battle location then after that, dependent on the victor, we can decide upon who would siege what location within a weeks time.
  8. Date has to be put on pause and eventually changed until we can reach terms. The current date is too soon, especially with no terms reached. We will not accept a siege on the Capital as the first point of attack. You can attack either through Dour Watch or Peremont, at your discretion. However, a siege will only be decided upon after an Open-Field Battle consisting of Adrian Forces and Loyalist Forces. The winner of the Open-Field battle will be granted rights to siege a location of choice aside from the Capital. For Adria, this would mean either Peremont or Dour Watch. However, another Warclaim would be posted by the winner if they wish to go through with the siege. Then one week after the post, the siege will take place. Not one day after. The post can be made at any time after the open-field battle. A location for the open field battle must be decided upon by both parties.
  9. There are a few points we should address within this Warclaim prior to it being handled are; Sieging of Felsen (Capital) Open-Field Battle Defenses Logistics General Rules Siege of Felsen The Capital cannot be sieged immediately when Peremont and Dour Watch still stand. The movement of troops through at least two rivers and a mountain with a host, the land between Adria and Vanaheim is a too long of a path to take without the Crownland scouts noticing it. https://i.gyazo.com/a5f4f230299bc488774bd1042ba87592.png Nonetheless, as Dour Watch & Peremont both still stand the Capital then cannot be immediately sieged. Peremont and Dour Watch are both positioned in strategic standpoints preventing military access from those lands. Nonetheless, launching a siege from across the river is illogical and cannot be sustained “Over a week long RP” as you stated. Open-Field Battle Prior to actually launching a siege on either Peremont or Dour Watch there must be an open-field battle to determine if the forces of Adria can move forward. The winner of the Open-Field battle will be granted rights to siege a location of choice aside from the Capital. For Adria, this would mean either Peremont or Dour Watch and for the Loyalists this would mean Barrowyck or Waldstadt. Defenses We should not be denied the right to build defenses as the movement of Adrian forces will be transparent. Mobilising an army of this size would not go unnoticed especially when traveling through and near Crownlands. It would be illogical to not allow any defenses even if Felsen was to be sieged as the Loyalist forces would already know. Logistics Dependent on the siege weaponry used, the valid ammunition must be provided. I.E A limited number of shots dependent solely on the ammunition that the attacking forces have brought with them. For Trebuchets, this would depend on the amount of boulders carried and transported. Siege weaponry and equipment regarding the battle must also transported over. General Rules Rules -Server Rules -No fake statuses -No returning to battle -No One-Day Alts -No TnT -No Potions/Gapples -No Grappling Hooks -No Unrealistic use of Game Mechanics (This is a counter-statement to the Warclaim. This can be further discussed however the Capital being the first place sieged does not make sense)

  11. A warhorn blows, its roar being heard from the Lands of Orc to the Valleys of Men. Thunder roaring as rain bristled off of the helmets of Orcs. Fires roared as the banner of the Iron Uzg rose high and mighty amongst the ranks. Rex Vrogak'Gorkil riding atop his Warboar, examining all of his troops as the Shamans called upon the blessings of the spirits. Vrogak'Gorkil gets off of his Warboar; Bahboosh, as he walks amongst the ranks, motivating his troops and giving a speech. "Diz am bi da tym fuh latz tu shuw da Ztowtz wud latz am mayde uf! ar latz globz?! or ar latz da blud of Krug!" The Orcs began chanting, and rallying, the rain heavily increasing as they began pounding their swords against their chestplates. "Diz am bi da tym uf da Irun Uzg! Diz am bi da tym tu hunuh Krug! Diz am bi da tym of da URUKZ!" The chanting, now enraged with motivation began, as the Warhorn of the Iron Uzg blew for another time, though this time, to alert the Dwarves that they were coming. The Orcs marched up onto the open field, swords in hands, archer divisions; organized and steady. Thunder crackled yet again as a hectic fray of organization began amongst the ranks. Steadying the front ranks, covering the flanks. The river grew restless as the weather was beginning its course of disaster. Volleys flying from both sides, though the Orcs stood steady, and fearless in their ranks. In the distance, the Dwarven array of shaking knees could be seen. Small, stumpy, creatures bearing more armour than their mass, standing instilled in fear. Rex Vrogak'Gorkil, noticing this amongst the Dwarven Ranks, closes his eyes. Looking up to the sky as the rain pours through his large tusks and eye-holes of his helmet. He swiftly calls for a charge on the Dwarves as his men immediately begin marching forwards. The Dwarves fell, slaughtered by the Orcs of the Iron Uzg. Screams from the Dwarvish Ranks could be heard as they seen their kin slaughtered. Some ran, others stood bravely, defending their honour. Lastly, none were left. Every Dwarf had fallen to the will of the Orcs. Their blades, dripping with blood as the chant of 'Krug' began to echo throughout the lands. With very little casualties for the Iron Uzg. An abundance of beards were chopped off, which then provided to the camp-fire which warmed the Orcs within the Goi. The battle had been won, decisively. Vrogak'Gorkil stood atop of the palace, looking over to the Dwarven Mountains in the distance He says; "Stand duwn, Ztowt, wi hab flatten latz enuff" After the decisive victory in the open field battle, where both forces met and proved their mettle, the Orcs emerging as the clear victors. They march onwards to the Grandaxe Village, settled near the borders of their Jungle. Rex Vrogak'Gorkil begins to move his troops and siege equipment as thundering wardrums echoe across the lands of Athera. The weak hearts of the Dwarves, beating ever so rapidly within their chests. "Muuv!" As a Orc shouts, the Iron Uzg, a unified force, marching collectively. Large war machines packed selectively, being pulled by armoured Rhino's. Rex Vrogak'Gorkil sat atop his Warboar, Bahboosh, overlooks the large horde as he silently prepares for the siege ahead. Type of battle: Siege/Conquest Time: Saturday, 9pm GMT 4pm EST - 13/06/15 Attacking force: Orcs + Mercs Defending force: Dwarves + Mercs Location and boundaries: Grandaxe Village, excluding tunnels/underground settlements. 12. You should work up on some Lore, and perhaps make an application system. The whole 'assassin' stuff is overdone, so you maybe want to find other areas. Anyways, best of luck! :)
  13. The Orcs rally up in the Iron Uzg capital; Kodar’Goi, as they huddle around a fire, the Rex stands in the middle, listing the atrocities carried out by the Dwarves against Orcs; “Mi Brudduhz, diz bi da tym fuh da Urukz tu flat dem nubhozh Ztowt zkahahz!
