I wish we would get rid of alt characters, it makes every nation feel empty.

Or we could just wait until 4.0 to make that kind of change, so it's easier to transition into.
It'd be difficult to enforce and may even require changes to the character cards.

I agree with this status, character cards need to be limited and only moderators should be able to change races to reduce ability to abuse.
