Rhia, weed could theoretically cause lung cancer, in the same capacity that burning incense would. Burning any plant matter, regardless of species, will produce trace amounts of tar. However, weed has minute amounts of tar compared to tobacco, the comparison isn't even close. Weed has a trivial amount of tar, it might as well not have it at all.
