  1. A very tanned, shaggy haired man strolls over to the noticeboard, pinning a note underneath the several others. "I've an offer that might interest you, quite a profitable one as well, I'd love to explain it here but I'd rather discuss it someplace a tad bit more private" -Sammy.
  2. What happened to the Camel Bandits?

  3. A slightly southern looking man chuckles, cracking a slight smile under his helmet as he leaves the Felsian Castle with Percival and his entourage. "To A mutually benefitial war".
  4. Is it just me or does mind magic seem a bit metai?

  5. Just thinking out loud, but anyone think it might be a good VIP perk to have it so that VIPs have more of a chance to get better things from keys through voting?

  6. Chuckles slightly as he stumbles upon the poster, cracking a smile as he finishes reading it, writting a reply onto a crumpled up piece of paper, pinning it bellow the post, stumbling off after he does so. "Hello my good chap, I'd be quite interested in joining your company of sorts, I'm not the best of fighters nor am I the worst though, however, I am quite the talker, not too sure why, mayhaps I was born with it as I've been able to talk people out of gutting me since I was quite a jolly little lad. I can handle my drink and spend most of my past time gambling with the inhabitants of most inns and taverns across Vailor, and I've been known to be quite the eccentric conversationalist." -Sammy
  7. 2. Obsolete. Stealing an RP-item unless it is designed to be used in combat (i.e. renamed sword or diamond armor) would generally not be beneficial to the thieving player, the ET who designated that RP-item, or the player in previous possession of it. Here are a few reasons as to why: 3. Potent. This is going to be my first explanation as to why I support the implementation behind this update. It has potential, but perhaps not in the ways intended. Some points have already been addressed in the previous responses to this topic, but either in a negative connotation, or vaguely. Those are my thoughts, or at least the majority of them, as I'm already running late on my morning schedule. TL;DR You don't get one. Read my post, or don't. No summary is a decent enough explanation. Sorry. </3 P.S. Don't take my sarcasm, or passive-aggression seriously. It's not designed to be. I agree with this, especially the bit about a lockpicking app, and I'm a criminal that would use lockpicking if it went along the lines of what you suggest, but could you use an easier to read colour next time? xD
  8. Do humans still have the buff that makes them stronger when there's more of them?

  9. I love that lockpicking chests are back and all, but I thought RP items pretty much meant anything but materials, like weapons, armor, diamonds ( I know diamonds are sort of materials but thought it might be more realistic for a burglar to steal some diamonds than blocks of heavy iron ) and so on. Sort of makes it that you either have to know someone has a very specific item(s) or making it so that you'll be very lucky to even stumble upon a potentially robbable chest.

  12. What is your name: Sammy What is your age: 25 What is your race:Human Farfolker What are your reasons of becoming a bard, and what would you like to get out of it?: I've always been a fan of such eccentric arts, simply to learn such skills would be the reasoning. What are you most interested in learning?: Singing and lute playing. What instruments do you know, and what would you like to learn?: None and all. OOC: Do you have skype, one which we could add to our skype group?: il.sam.il What is your IGN?: Colaone1
  13. Chuckles, cracking a smile as he hears of this Bardic guild, rubbing the tattoo under his eye. "Damn, if only I had a voice that didn't sound like that of a dying cats."
  14. Sammy strolls over to the notice board, two other men behind him as he does so, looking at the poster on the board, reading through it hastily, cracking a smile as he skims through to the part with minas, writing down his own note, placing it above all the other notes, stabbing a small knife into it to keep it in place. "Hello my fine gent, I would be duly interested to accompany the fine men and women that venture on this hunt, I've little experience with hunting monsters, however I can offer myself and several others to assist in the sailing of the ship and if it comes to it, the assisted dispatching of this dastardly beast, we've the minas to arm ourselves if we cannot be armed by our employer, and above all, we're a rather jolly bunch for company."
  15. Name: Sammy "Mungo" Age: 25 Skills: Decent swordsman, good with a knife, and all around joyful to be around, I've also been said to have a lovely singing voice. Any issues one might have with working with other races/religions: None at all, I'm a very tolerant person you know. Any information not covered above that you think is relevant: None at all, all I needed to know is that I'm getting paid and might be getting something worth fencing off.
  16. Lockpicking did provide RP for more than just the thief though, if they did it right quite a few people could get involved, the guards, a nosy neighbour, anyone really that's nearby, maybe not so much for the owner if they're offline, but I think some people are seeming to think that everyone that picked locks simply did /seen of the owner and waits till they're offline, there were many good burglars out there, the master thieves guild being a very good example of people using lockpicking to provide more RP.
  17. Yeah, I agree with the idea that you can only lockpick someone's chests when they're either online or you're in quite an active area, like Felsan most of the time or something.
  18. Have there be an app for lockpicking, or a teacher system, maybe both? Edit: As well, not too sure what you mean by RP items, like enchanted armor given by an Ascended or something could count as an RP item.
  19. Where've all of these criminal guilds come from? xD

      H

...You're going to need a crew of 17ish depending on the size of the ship.

That is, if you're about to do what I think you're about to do.

      Sam, yes!

  21. Sammy, the seemingly bandit leader strolls into the Oren capital, both his man and his kidnapee taken from him by the Orcs, wounded, hungry and dehydrated, he strolls into the closest tavern to drink, eat, and attempt to bring his numbers back to a respectable number. (( Thanks for going along with it and not complaining, we tried to make it as fun as could be for both sides, and to the Orcs, fair play xD ))
  22. I agree with Jonificus, fast travels should have some sort of fee on it to slightly limit the usage of it, other than that I don't see it as much of a problem, and my main char's a bandit so I'd need people to be running about on the roads, but so far even with fast travels there's been enough people to rp with along the roads. EDIT: And for the size of the map, I like how big it is, adds some mystery to it, and adds to the awe when you finally get to a city after travelling about on the roads with the shift of barely anyone being around you to areas full of people.
  23. Name?: Sammy Age?: 20 Reason for joining?: I've too many selective habits that I believe can only be truly fulfilled umong the company of likeminded individuals. Do you have a residence, and are willing to use it for any future events?: I currently reside above the Felsian Inn, as it's closest to one of the areas of some of my favourite past times, and I believe it may be a tad bit too small to host a party I'm afraid.
