  1. Late into the evening, Bojakk Frostbeard would make the rounds, after being hermitted away whilst caring for his father, Ajax. Descending the snowcapped mountains, he clutched sheet music in hand, as another collaborate work was completed between the two bards. The Paper would be posted to every bar door in Urguan, and to any dwed outpost in the surrounding areas over the month. I want to be in the Kossakri [Lyrics by Bojakk and Ajax Frostbeard]
  2. A series of pages are posted upon the taverns of Oren's capital of Vienne. A dwarf, clad in blue face paint and warm looking robes walked the land of the newer Harvest Confederacy, though rarely if ever spoke, and made strides to ensure that every tavern and meeting hall in the land was gifted a copy of the song. While the dwarf was younger, maybe a few years over 300, the papers he sported were signed by an Ajax 'Belka's Quill' Frostbeard, an ancient dwarf from the days of the Kaz'Ulrah revolution, and a known songwriter of the second age. anyone who would ask about the younger dwarf , would be told he is Bojakk, son of Ajax, and the courier of his songs and writings. He was tasked with delivering the many copies of the song to all the people's of the nation that was once called Oren. The reason for doing all this was rarely if ever given, and murmurs and rumors were circulating through town. Was it an appeasement to the Man-folk that the old dwarf sought? was it a random act of kindness? Was it an appreciation for the depth of culture and history of Oren? Bojakk never replied to the inquiry, and not long after finishing delivering the texts to the various large houses and inns of the and, he vanished back south to the mountains ,and to the holds of Urguan. 3. Bojakk Frostbeard, whilst keeping to hismelf while aloof among the mortal realm, traveling through mountains and hills within the lands of Urguan, Haense, Norland, Talon's Port, Oren, and Suitica, softly hums shanties and other songs to himself. After being inspired by his father Ajax's most recent song contribution, he penned up a song himself, for people much like him who travelled the land. This was especially the case for the soldiers and hunters whom traveled the snow topped peaks of Urguan, near where his father lives. He'd deliver this new song promptly to the various mountain holds and townships around Urguan. The land touching the sky Come all ye young dwarven men, keep your ears high and I'll sing you a song of the land touchin' the sky And it's snowy weather boys, stormy weather boys When the wind blows, we're all together boys Away ye winds westerly, blow ye winds blow Begone fowl weather so steady we'll go Out soars the eagle with his feathery tail Soars out aloft by the grandest of gales And out jumps the wolf with his mighty sharp teeth Saying "You eat the bread boys and I'll eat the beef" And it's snowy weather boys, stormy weather boys When the wind blows, we're all together boys Away ye winds westerly, blow ye winds blow Begone fowl weather so steady we'll go Up jumps the rabbit, with his fluffy eared head He dashes through brambles, oh he drops out the lead And Out jumps the Stag, with his cunning and grace saying "Behold you small creatures, I'm king of this place" And it's snowy weather boys, stormy weather boys When the wind blows, we're all together boys Away ye winds westerly, blow ye winds blow Begone fowl weather so steady we'll go Out jumps the boar, the fiercest of all "Mess with me and you'll be gored to the wall!" And up jumps the huntsman, stalwart and grim and with his crossbow he'll bring them all in And it's snowy weather boys, stormy weather boys When the wind blows, we're all together boys Away ye winds westerly, blow ye winds blow Begone fowl weather so steady we'll go And it's snowy weather boys, stormy weather boys When the wind blows, we're all together boys Away ye winds westerly, blow ye winds blow Begone fowl weather so steady we'll go
  4. Ajax Frostbeard in his advancing years, still occasionally pens songs among his self imposed exile. Feeling disconnected from his kin to such a degree that he finds it hard to carry on living among them. His son, Bojakk Frostbeard occasionally visits him, and upon his return from his most recent visit, would go and pin a copy of this new work song to every tavern and place of gathering throughout the dwarven lands. In the Deep Road
  5. Ajax Frostbeard, having been enclaved away among the snow peaked mountains of Urguan, would only know the occasional passing hunter, offering them refuge and warmth on the cold mountain nights. He would himself be unaware of the hunters, but as a devote follower of Anbella, his need to give hospitality outweighed any thought of danger to welcome a stranger into his home. Upon receiving a copy of the manual from his son Bojakk, this would put many things to light for the aging dwed "Ah... well.. that'd explain the interesting attire.. good on them I suppose.."
  6. Ajax Frostbeard quietly sat in his hovel atop one of Urguans many mountains, with the soft sound of a bubbling cauldron being much of the only thing heard amidst the snowstorm surrounding him. A raven of the events had been sent to him by one of his kin, taking a sip of his tea the dwarf let out a heavy sigh. The notion of another great clash and death abound saddened him, especially in the matters of kin slaying, but the safety of the dwed as a whole meant this was a necessary thing... the dwarf had already heard and seen so much in his time, it almost was like this was nothing new to him at this point.. nearing a millennium old.. the dwarfs heart can only break so many times "Such a shame... such a great dwarf fallen so low, and to be sundered and smashed....such a shame..."
  7. Bojakk Frostbeard, amidst the lovey-dovey time of year, in the same fashion as he had done in years prior, composes a song for the sake of the lovers during the holiday of Belka's time, often shortened to Belkantine [for some reason]. Wasting no time at all, he and with permission from his Father Ajax, borrows his banjo, and composes a simple, but heartfelt song. Finishing said composition he'd rush to both the taverns in Kal'Darakaan, Hefrumm, and any other major hold around to get a copy posted to every tavern and major hub people would walk through. Attached to the song is a note with the following written in it "This song is dedicated not only to the couples enjoying the festivities of this time of year, but to my fellow bachelor dwed who have yet to find their other half. Additionally, I wanted to dedicate this song to those lovely Grandaxe ladies, whom have been both and inspiration, and a joy for myself during my time getting acquainted to my fellow dwed kin. Have a lovely Belkantine, and know that you all are loved, even if you don't immediately see it -Bojakk Frostbeard" Sweet Dwarven Woman
  8. Ajax frostbeard reads the missive somewhat confused "Searching for tunes far n wide across the kingdom, and then some... I do hope a few of my songs make the cut.. Allfather knows I've been one of the few musicians and composers of the entirety of our people to publish works in the past 50 years... I'd be sad if I get overlooked once more.."
  9. The Return of Ajax 'Belka's Quill' Frostbeard It would seem unprompted that after nearly a full stone year of silence, barely any contact coming from the dwarf known as 'Belka's Quill'; Ajax Frostbeard. Having returned to a life of solitude and a hermit habit, many considered him to have simply wandered into the forest to never be seen again... Yet, remarkably, not only did this dwarf return suddenly to Kal'Darakaan! but in his hand he clutched several sheets of music. A new album he has finished! Posting it to the taverns both in Kal'Darakaan as well as Hefrumm, he makes his rounds, ensuring anyone whom passes him by gets a copy. The High Kings of Swing Album By Ajax and Bojakk Frostbeard Where the Dwed at? Return of the Jack Mina for nothing Jax gonna Give it to yah High Kings of Swing Trailblazer
  10. Ajax Frostbeard, having been back in his hermit hovel atop one of the snow capped mountains of Urguan's homeland receives the missive from his son, Bojak. Reading it he crumples and tosses the paper into the hearth fire, discontentedly sighing "Another pointless war.. another crashing of dwed and steel into the tall folk, like the ocean on the rocky shore.. It never ends.. and it never really accomplishes anything after a century... Hopefully we don't lose anyone important in this conflict..." The disenfranchised dwarf returns to his personal works, idly scribbling away at melodies, recipes, or whatever Belka decides to inspire him with as he wastes away his last years in his self imposed solitude.
  11. Ajax Frostbeard, reading the book gives a soft chuckle at Baldin's notion of the clan having many great bards.. Not entirely sure if he's wrong... But hoping perhaps instead more bards would step up within the clan in the near future, after he and his son Bojakk had laid a fair amount of groundwork to bring song back into the halls of the Frostbeards.. He'd eventually take the book home and have a laugh with his son, denoting the depiction of 'a frostbeard bard' strikes very similar resemblance to Baldin's Frostbeard history's depiction of Bojakk
  12. Bojakk Frostbeard. Having spent years in isolation in his home, taking care of his father Ajax, finally departed from his home. In his hands were pages, sheet music, much like he had made before he retreated those years ago. His face set determined, not long after hearing of the passing of Rhewen. Delivering a copy of a new song to the taverns both in Kal'Darakaan and Hefrumm. Roar Great PaPa Bear Twas late 29 in the Old Dwarven Hall He was the eldest of Frostbeards by far Tankard in hand Papa Bear sat at the bar Roar Great Papa Bear, Roar For Lucienburg had bore monsters below A cry came out for allies they know "Send us a champion to strike down this foe!" 13. Anonymously, Sheet music is left posted along various tavern doors, church doors, and town centers around the kingdom of Norland. The parchment if of high grade and the characters while in the common language, have blocky print to them.. A telltale sign of dwarven handwriting. A note is attached at the top of the sheet music simply reads "Enjoy the melody, for a nation worthy of song" -A.F. Life in a Norland town A Northguard Army band plays and Beautiful girl's hip sways And the song and dance lasted all day All day And through an open window came, the smell of fresh bread bakes Such a lovely time makes Ah. Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Hey-y-yah Life in a norland town Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma-ma Children played along the ground as mothers hummed with laundry and everyone else came down to listen They sang songs of victory In times of famine and fortune With their lovely family and friends foreign Yeah, yeah , yeah Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Hey-y-yah Life in a norland town Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma-ma Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Hey-y-yah All the while the sun went down The evening turned to rain [The evening turn to rain] And as fathers went home they came To see their dear wives and their children And as their supper was sat upon the table You could see the glow in their eyes What a lovely time to be able be part of a lovely night Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Hey-y-yah Life in a norland town Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma [Life in a norland town] Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma [All while the sun went down] Hey-y-yah Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Such a beautiful land to see Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Hey-y-yah Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma [Such a beautiful land to see] Dee-doo-din-nie-ya-ya Ah-hey-ma-ma-ma Hey-y-yah
  14. Ajax, nowadays growing too old to fight much anymore, hefts his hammer for his son, Bojakk to bear. Perhaps the shepherd boy of a dwarf might be some use in righting this wrong.
  15. Ajax, having up to this time spending most of his time with his son, Bojakk, in isolation within Kal'darakaan, and having not left his house in years, eventually gets the news through what voices carry through his window. Surprisingly though, unlike most of the rest of dwed kind, he is not saddened, or at least sadness does not take the helm of his emotions. Ajax and Bojakk both, become enraged, filling with passion and vigor after hearing about such a titan of the clan falling, and in such a fitting way. Together, father and son begin scribbling on paper once more, the Quill of Belka, may yet make a return after such a momentous occasion.
  16. Taking days if not weeks at a time to prepare, careful writing and arranging, it is finally done. Ajax releases an album.. The Axios Album, to end a streak of six years of continuously writing and publishing music, he decides to end on a high note, or as relatively high as this album will be. A copy is delivered to the remembrancers, and a single copy is posted to the tavern wall, which by now is littered with the various songs he's posted over his time.. The grand total of songs now being well into the 60's. Attached to the tavern copy is a letter The Axios Album Khazad from the hold Dungrimm's Might Fields of Jornheim Slaying Ground The Split Beard War Kaz'Ulrah Dwed lives lost in war The Kaz'Ulrah Prayer King Verthaik Long Live The King In Urguan's Stone You're in the legion now
  17. Ajax and Bojakk Releases a buffer song, one of the songs they've been holding onto for months. Hammerstruck Hammer, Hammer, hammer, hammer I was caught In the middle of a battleground I saw men and I knew they'd soon gathered round My mind raced, and I thought, what should I do Then I knew, There was no help, no help from you Sound of war drums Beating' in my heart Dorimnur's guns Had tore them apart I'd been Hammerstruck Marched down the highway Broke the umri, raided their town Went to haenseti, yeah haenseti, and we had some fun We met some men, Some ol' boys who were sublime Drank all their booze nothing to lose! Yeah yeah, they, they, they were good times! And We were drinking and were pleased laughing with a wheeze Yeah them Haense men were too kind We were Hammerstruck I was drinking and was pleased laughing with a wheeze Hammerstruck, Hammerstruck, Hammerstruck, Hammerstruck It's alright, we're doin fine It's alright, we're doin fine, fine, fine Hammerstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah Hammerstruck, Hammerstruck Hammerstruck baby baby Hammerstruck, Hammerstruck You've been Hammerstruck!
  18. Ajax and Bojakk Frostbeard, whilst working on various projects, receives a commission by officer grudgebeard, to make and submit a song for his lady, Brynaelda Grandaxe. Taking special care to ensure the song is up to snuff before releasing it Grandaxe Girl Grandaxe Girl She's been living that Grandaxe World I bet she's never had cavern guy I bet clan father's never her told her why I'm gonna try for a Grandaxe Girl She's been living in her highland world As long as anyone with red hair can And now she's looking for a cavern dwed man That's what I am And when she knows what she wants in her life And when she sees me I know she's gonna be my wife she'll see I'm not so rough Just because I'm in love with a Grandaxe Girl You know I've seen her in her Grandaxe World She's getting tired of her grandaxe boys and all the stress from her little bundles of joy She's got her choice Grandaxe girl You know I'm not the richest in the world But maybe when my minecart comes in She'll understand the kind of dwed i've been Her heart I'll win And when she's walking, her hips swingin', so fine And when we're talkin, beard swayin', all mine She knows I'm not so rough Just because I'm in love with a Grandaxe Girl She's been living in her highland world As long as anyone with red hair can And now she's looking for a cavern dwed man That's what I am Grandaxe Girl, She's My grandaxe girl You know I'm in love with a Grandaxe girl, my Grandaxe girl You know I'm in love with a Grandaxe girl, my Grandaxe girl You know I'm in love with a Grandaxe girl, my Grandaxe girl You know I'm in love with a Grandaxe girl
  19. Bojakk frostbeard, amidst his musings and his latest album, releases a singular song, aimed at his father, whom as of writing this hasn't spoken to anyone nor interacted at all with any of his kin in over 2 years. His hopes is to help shake his father out of his obsession before it consumes him any further You're Belka's Quill now Ajax all the dwed's eyes are turned on you Now you're upon the tavern's shining stage Everything revolves on what you do ah, you've hit your stride In your old age You can always have your way somehow Because you are Belka's quill now You can disregard your past mistakes and you can turn your back on what you've done Just a little sonnet is all it takes Who thinks about the past whilst having fun? Oh Loneliness will get to you somehow But you are Belka's Quill now Ah, they all want a commission and they await your reply oh but between you and me and Kal'darakaan... So do I.... All the people have learned your name Soon there will be lines outside your door Wrapped up in this fleeting music game but do you really know them anymore? So your life is only writing anyhow And You are Belka's quill now Close your eyes when you're in to deep And stay inside til' everyone else will go Only speak to your son in your sleep Yeah, and run away when you don't want to know You've got to stop this madness somehow But You are Belka's quill now Ah you know this writing won't last forever And you've burned yourself out before Oh but for the sake of clan and for the little people... you adore.... See as all the people turn away Maybe another album will change their mind It doesn't matter how much you pay Anything to keep you from falling behind! This is what you wanted, ain't you proud... Because you are Belka's quill now.
  20. Bojakk Frostbeard, having been melancholic the past few months, after having a long talk with his father and hearing the song he had made for him, felt a renewal of life. As such he quickly set about to turn his emotional drive into song, producing this album both for catharsis and to instill hope in others. A copy would be delivered both to the tavern in kal'darakaan as well as a copy submitted to the remembrancers. The tavern Copy also received a letter attached to the album Endurance That's Life [Bojakk Version] I'm Still standing [Bojakk Version] My heart Will survive Some Dwarf To love That Finley Break My Pride Won't Stay Down I still haven't Found, the love I'm looking for
  21. Ajax Frostbeard, having spent most of his time the past few months [if not years at this point] steeped in his work, hearing both the breakup of him and his courting lady, as well as the most recent events of him getting chewed on by bears, and falling into melancholy, adamantly works, and produces this song. Going to personally post this on every door he can find, with as many copies as he can make in carry, taking him the better end of a day or two to do so. Like hell if he's going to let this stand. 22. Bojakk Frostbeard, Whilst awaiting a hunt in hefrumm to begin. Dispatches this song to the the remembrancers, and the tavern of Kal'Darakaan Grudge War: Where knife ears lie, lay paralyzed, a brother's beard is gone and his body buried here, shame marked on his grave. Kin at home, receive a message, and shed a tear of grief Hate and blood, for foreign land, no mercy to withstand. Where are these fiends that i've been told? What fools thought themselves bold? Was your blood worth the sacrifice? Grudge War We will not take more! Grudge war The legion's marching on! To settle the great score There will be no encore! Grudge War The war upon your shore! I'm standing here, I know no fear, with brothers at my feet Over there, upon their ramparts, halberds wear my name Lead ahead, as the marshall said, and show them no remorse Who am I to understand? What you will be come. I'll do my duties, pay the price For honor, a worthy sacrifice For my clan my honor is secured! Grudge War We will not take more! Grudge war The legion's marching on! To settle the great score There will be no encore! Grudge War The war upon your shore! And blow by blow you'll pay the price of a hair here Though brothers fallen, we see heroes rise We face the heat As we'll cut you down until the last Upon the stone we shall write our own history Grudge War We will not take more! Grudge war The legion's marching on! To settle the great score There will be no encore! Grudge War The war upon your shore!
  23. Ajax Frostbeard, whilst working on a larger project, releases a motivational song for the legion, in hopes of once again bolstering recruitment, and morale of those serving in our armed forces. Khazad with the Axe From on high Came the Khazad with the Axe! From the lands of our fathers wake Came the legend of our fate The blessing of Anbella has long been parted On the stone of mountain gave To us a home for the brave and our ancestors shan't be forgotten From the hands of heaven made Marching far to parade By his word we praise his holy name ferrum fratribus From on high came the khazad with the Axe With a flash of steel we break oren's back In the mines of our brothers toiling In the fields legion's blood is boiling From on high came the Khazad with the Axe To their destiny they stride Bringing their fury and their pride And the lands of dwed had long been parted Stand your ground for Yemekar's name Out for vengeance and for pain By the dawn we raise Yemekar's Flame ferrum fratribus From on high came the khazad with the Axe With a flash of steel we break oren's back In the mines of our brothers toiling In the fields legion's blood is boiling From on high came the Khazad with the Axe From on high came the khazad with the Axe [From on high came the khazad with the Axe] With a flash of steel we break oren's back [With a flash of steel we break oren's back] In the mines of our brothers toiling In the fields legion's blood is boiling From on high came the Khazad with the Axe From on high came the khazad with the Axe With a flash of steel we break oren's back In the mines of our brothers toiling In the fields legion's blood is boiling From on high came the Khazad with the Axe
  24. Ajax Frostbeard, strangely enough, is posting a song written by his son alone. The song posted upon the tavern door and to the remembrancers, a small note is attached before the song of every copy simply stating "Bojakk of late isn't feeling well... Something about girl troubles.. I figured it'd be nice to publish one of his songs while he sulks... Enjoy -AJax" Fight for your right [Dwarf Version] KICK IT You wake up late for work, jeez, you don't wanna go You ask your dad 'Please?' but he still says "No!" 25. Bojakk Frostbeard, whilst working away helping his father, secretly releases a song for his new courting lady, Finley Grandaxe. A bit embarrassed about the whole ordeal, the song is posted via courier Oh Finley In all the times i've been here You're such a sight, You're looking finer than any grandaxe in sight you, don't know how much that hair of fire sets off in me a burning desire Finley Oh! Finley! My heart throbs again Oh! Finley Is it ever going to end? Oh! Finley My heart throbs again Oh! Finley I see your lips and I dream of one day kissing them I never thought i'd be the one to pine for them I don't know if you'll ever care for me But if i'm going to try I know you're the best for me Finley Oh! Finley! My heart throbs again Oh! Finley Is it ever going to end? Oh! Finley My heart throbs again Oh! Finley My heart hasn't been the same since. Maybe it's no good and i'm just asking for trouble I want to know you, but I don't know how to talk to you It's probably no use I'm heading for disaster but when I see you My heart starts beating faster Finley Oh! Finley Finley You're so fine my heart can't take it, yeah! Oh! Finley My heart throbs again Oh! Finley My heart can't take it Oh! Finley!
