  1. This first session of the Imperial Senate has come to its natural conclusion. On the 11th of Harren’s Folly, 1738, His Imperial Majesty Peter III declares this senate prorogued.
  2. The Emperor hears of his cousin’s harrowing brush with death. “Terrifying...”
  3. “Karin’elf’ya, my good ally.”
  4. THE EMPEROR'S MARCH “What good is an Emperor if he shall not fight for his people?” Peter III after the victory. The wicked whispers of the Roswick highway men had unfurled across the roads, for they had captured lone stranglers and brought them to their den of degeneracy. For it is all they are capable of, ten men capturing a singular. Yet, it was the men of the Western Alliance that they had trespassed against once more - the famed General Thomas Elliot ‘The Blue’ had penned birds and sent them to their respective nations. It was not long till the men of the Western Alliance sallied to the Capital of Helena, a grouping from all corners of the alliance brought their steel & horses to the Orenian capital. With little time remaining, they trucked across the beaten-path with stoic expressions cemented on to their face. Upon their arrival they were met with a flurry of arrows soaring through the air, and it didn't take long for them to reciprocate with a similar engagement. For some odd reason, one of their commanders, Malgunuz jumped from his walls in a fit of rage to try and face the Emperor of Oren himself - yet he was quickly slain and brought down in a lonesome effort by Peter III. It was said that after bringing down such a weakling that he exhaled a long spout of laughter in the midst of the engagement. “HAHAHAHAHA” Peter III after slaughtering Malgunuz.. After slaying one of the enemy commanders, a surge of confidence rushed through the Western Alliances forces - an attack was signalled by Thomas Elliot in which they clambered up a tree; subsequently jumping off it to infiltrate the enemy city and charged soon after. What was left was the littered bodies of the highwaymen.

This I proclaim for the strength of our Empire, Upon the day of our Lord, 5th Godfrey’s Triumph, 1738 HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, Peter III Antonius, Emperor of the Holy Orenian Empire, King of Renatus, Salvus, and Seventis, Duke of Helena, Adria, the Crownlands, Lorraine, and Roden, Baron of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders, Highlanders, and Farfolk, etcetera.
  7. “But what defines a citizen? Also you kept the improper punctuation”
  8. Antony Sigismundic, the other senator for Helena, removes his pipe from his mouth with a long puff of consideration. “In my past tenure as Administrator General of the City of Ves, I drafted a charter which detailed quite a similar system. It is modern and effective, proof enough being that the Golden City peaked in might - and generated unprecedented amounts of wealth - under my care.” Taking a moment for his habitual smoke, Antony calmly inclines his chin as he exhales a pleasantly earthy cloud. Clearing his throat, he continues. “Just as Senator Harjalainen stresses the importance of strict wisdom for those who will compose our judiciary body, I must stress the importance of sharp vigilance for those who will compose that of the treasury and civil affairs. Too often do I see this – and it unfolds now in Helena – cowardice and corruption dance a rot across a city. Taxes are kept timidly low, no administrator bold enough to explain and execute obligations to the crown. Miscreants and nobles occupy the city without paying a coin, order and obligations thrown to the wind as clerks are threatened by the sword. Disrepair spreads and ugliness grows, no citizen caught up in this dreadful heap of pitiful clerkship motivated enough to care for his home. Helena lay now in partial completion, and various unremarkable nobles squat in its half-built recesses by availing themselves of friendships or force. I am currently drafting legislature to begin remedying this – and I swear to personally slay any indulgent wastrel in the way of – in the literal sense – building our empire. Never shall we obstruct the crown through ineffectuality. Render unto Godfrey what is Godfrey’s, as they say. I yield the floor.”
  9. “Dear.” Antony Sigismundic uttered in solemn grief to Jasper and Malcom Goldhand upon being informed of Daniel’s passing. “He was a perfect Vicar of God- and he lives on to continue as such.” Antony told the melancholy Haas House. “May God rest him. May he serve yet.”
  10. Antony reclines on the balcony of Haas House, puffing his pipe and watching with his one eye the canals for ratmen.
  11. “It’s Liveryman, not Liverywoman.” Says Aethelstan Haas, infuriated by the results for Pruvia and Bard’s Ward.

  14. 1728 Auction for the Bird & the Bard Come one, come all – domestic crooks and foreign meddlers – for a great vacancy has appeared in the Golden City of Ves! Fate has seen it that our leal tavern lady lays loyal no longer, and her long revered establishment, the Bird and the Bard, opens an opportunity for an intrepid entrepreneur to seize. This property is one of the largest in the city, standing at four stories tall with a cellar below, and is one of the broadest structures around – plenty of room for creative business. For those who dare, wealth and fulfillment comes! If you would like to become the honored owner of this legendary building, please submit a small summary of your plans for the establishment to the Administrator General Antony Sigismundic posthaste. Private bidding is already underway, so act quickly! The stakes are high, and the costs even higher – the bidding has begun at ten-thousand (10,000) Minae. The City looks forward to your business.
