Elrion Visaj reads the missive, and shook his head simply, before writing one of his own, posting it below Pelilasdir’s.
Citizens of Haelun’or, I do apologize for the insulence of my old, dear friend Pelilasdir. It was not long ago, that we were close to the best of friends. It does pain me to see him slander my name this way, though I feel it might be in order to write a brief response, to ensure all of my friends in the city understand where I am coming from. Let’s start with the first accusation;
Okarir’tir Elrion Visaj and Okarir’tayna Caestella Valerieth plotted to take control of our Silver City, I did my duty as a pure citizen to follow their every step and pretend to be on board with them.
My response to this is simple, and straightforward. Not only does this wicked man have no proof for these accusations as any pure Mali’aheral should. But he is bitter at heart, because I recently told his fiance about his efforts to become a dark mage Naztherak user, as I had learned from my intimate relationship with him in the years before this missive was posted. His fiance Dele Moonbrook left him after this, and I’m sure my name was mentioned. I cannot think of any other reason why he would frame me this way for trying to ‘Overthrow the government’. Though it is clear this accusation has no context or proof. I figured I should mention, I love my grandfather, or Uncle by blood. Dimaethor Visaj was the only father in my life. He is the leader I look up to more than any other. He is what is good for our people. Most understand I would rather drink, or lead the armies, not lead the entire Country. I am still living my kid years, and it wouldn’t make sense for a 30 year old to coup the existing leadership. I have proven myself loyal time and time again.
Okarir’tir Elrion Visaj and Okarir’tayna Caestella Valerieth tried to become Dark Mages, they frequented the place our Allies and Sillumir crusaded against. I was there gathering information on their defenses and power structure for the People of the Silver City.
I, Elrion Visaj was the one to orchestrate the raid against Gehenna. If I truly cared about dark magic, why would I have taken the position of Okarir’tir? If I was infact a mage of any type, I would not be able to hold a sword the way I do, or wear my heavy plated armor. So not only is this accusation false, but it is irrelevant. As for the list of names, don’t you all think it’s incredibly fishy that for some reason Pelilasdir knows all of these people, and NEVER told Dimaethor, the one he was supposedly “doing it all for” . Nor did he tell the Sillumir at any point in time.
Many remember the day that I was captured and beaten by the dark mages at Gehenna. When I returned, I told Dimaethor Visaj, our blessed Sohaer everything that happened to me, how to get there, and who I saw there. I only returned a single time after that, as I later learned after the raid that I planned and orchestrated, that it was my mother who captured me, and tried to kill me, or so I thought at the time. I returned to see if it was her, to no avail, but who did I see there.... you guessed it. Pelilasdir Frostfyre. He was there indeed, and he was trying to learn Naztherak Magic. I feel he himself just proved this fact, as he quite literally stated three names from ‘Gehenna’. How else would he know these names, unless he actually went there himself without telling a single soul in Haelun’or. How long does it take to ‘Gather information about their defenses’? A day? Maybe two? It has been over six years, since I made my last visit to Gehenna. And here we are, just learning for the very first time that he was there. It was about a week ago, that I approached him in the Visaj Friendship park. And I had asked him if he were practicing the magic still, he replied no, and I decided, due to our friendship that I would leave it at that, and walk away. I trusted that he would not use dark magic, and I have never seen him use the magic myself, so as any Aheral would do, I waited for proof. Though clearly I do not need it anymore, as he has stated above that he was involved there for countless years now. Perhaps the one that should be in question is Pelilasdir Frostfyre, not the Great Okarir’tir Elrion Visaj. My loyalty to this country is undying. I live and breath Haelun’or. I have been here everyday, all day. Yet Pelilasdir claims to be a ‘traveller’. He is away far more often away than he is at home. This in and of itself should provide even more support for my claims and his own that he was living at Gehenna for a while without telling anybody of his findings of ‘How the enemy defenses work’.
